We have had 3 dogs in the house for the last 3 years and were sure that the carpets were ruined. Hew's came in and restored the carpets to "like new". Courteous, thorough, honest. What more could we ask for. 5 stars.

The carpet was long overdue for a cleaning so my expectations were low. But, Hew's took their time, treated the spots and the carpet came out great! I definitely won't wait so long in between and will definitely call Hew's again!

Hugh did a fabulous job and worked very hard at my home for over 5 hours. I had pointed out to him some dark stains on carpet stair risers which had bothered me, since the carpet was only about six years old. Hugh not only removed these completely, but contacted me the next day to make sure the stains were gone after the carpet was dry. He saved the off white sofa, as after he cleaned it, my husband remarked that it looked practically brand new!

A very pleasant experience. He arrived right on time and went right to work. Very quiet, went about his business. Explained to me the risks of using a certain cleaning product on our carpet and also how best to clean them when one of our dogs has an accident. Very reasonable pricing and a very kind, friendly vendor. I will be using them again - without hesitation!

He removed most of the stains that other carpet cleaners were unable to do. He spent a lot of quality time working on it.

I was very impressed with Hugh and would not hesistate to recommend him. He arrived on time (and provided a phone call with an advanced notice to when he would arrive). I also really appreciated his attention to detail and his willingness to work on a Saturday.

This is the 4th or 5th time I've used this service and every time its great. Will definitely use again!

Hew is punctual, thorough, and careful to not track dirt/leaves through the house. He also followed up to make sure that we are satisfied with his work. I highly recommend him.

Spectacular experience. Very professional pick-up, cleaning and return. He's a joy to work with and tells great stories;-) Have used him for carpet cleaning in past; first experience with oriental rugs -- would definitely go back.

I was so confused about this service call. I have used this company for at least the last 5 years, sometimes more than once a year because my dog doesn't like to go potty where he should. I've always had the same service provider and he has always been professional and done an excellent job. For this visit, I wanted 2 area rugs cleaned -- they are the exact same size and material. One could be cleaned at my house, but the other had to be taken to their business to clean because the room it's normally in is under renovation and there was no where else in my house to spread it out for cleaning and drying. Both rugs needed stain and pet odor removal. Both rugs have received that treatment from Hew's over the years. The first rug was cleaned at my house, but stains and pet odors were not successfully removed. I paid $116 for that rug using a $50 discount purchased on Angie's List. He wanted to charge me $660 for the second rug!!! You read that right --, almost 6 times the cost of the other!! I asked him why, and he said that's his normal price. I said not true, as evidenced by the fees charged over the past five years AS WELL AS THE RUG YOU JUST CLEANED!?!?!?!?!? He could not be swayed, so I had him remove the rug from his van and return it to my house. I still don't know what was happening with him that day. I thought maybe some health issue? No way they're trying to charge me $500 for delivery fees. I'm still baffled.

It went great. He called before arrival so I wasn't stuck here waiting. He was prompt and courteous. He did a superb job cleaning. Cleaning the couch was hard work. He doesn't just go through the drill, he stays with the job until spots and dirt are removed. He even left 4 blowers with us for the night to help speed the drying process. Great job!

.He was very nice, and came in and got right to work on my dirty carpets. I had purchased a coupon via Angie's List, but paid extra to get the steps, and pet corner cleaned. I was very pleased with the job!

It just wasn't the cleaning job I was expecting. It was bad but it wasn't top notch.

The work was done well and the provider was very professional. I wish I had known before purchasing that steps were extra. I am fine with what I paid but think the exception should be posted on the offering. I am pleased with the work done and with the provider.

They did a good job; I don't think he was particularly great. I have no complaints. The price was very good. It was wet cleaning, so it was quite wet after he finished but it was clean and efficient. It was very noisy, he had a motor running out in the hallway and my neighbor complained, so he moved it out in the balcony. It was a little bit of an issue but it was easily solved.

All fine. As he explained, stairs cost extra. Results were fine, not dramatic. Carpet is not new (I was moving in), so I do not know if it could have come out better. There were areas he said he could not get clean and it looks dingy on stairs and hallway.

Hugh was a pleasure to work with. He was responsive when setting up the appointment and provided all the necessary details. He arrived when he said he would and explained everything he would do. When cleaning the carpet he even moved some big pieces of furniture for us. He left everything tidy and organized. He even left us some shoe covers if we needed to walk over the carpet before it dried. The carpet looks rejuvenated. I will definitely be calling Hugh in the future when my carpet inevitably gets dirty again!
