I'll admit it, my carpet was in bad shape. I hadn't had it fully cleaned in forever, and it had rippled in several places leaving creases. I thought for sure I needed to replace it all. I finally purged my house of lots of unnecessary stuff, and my first action after I could see the carpet again, was to make an attempt to clean and repair the carpets. I have a young child, and I thought if I could get looking halfway decent, I could wait it out until she's a bit older before I replace. WELL, it looks brand new after Mr. Hew worked his magic. He uses a power stretcher, showed up exactly on time, and meticulously stretched, open seams, recut, repaired and then steam cleaned out all the stains. I went up in my socks to look at it, couldn't wait.....it was beautiful. Looks brand new. He is fantastic, professional, polite, friendly and honored the Angie's list coupons. At the end, he charged me less than his first estimate, and the carpets look beautiful.

Although the cleaning was a bit pricey, the service was excellent. I received a confirmation call prior to the drivers arrival. The driver arrived on right time and picked up the rugs. The rugs were returned to me on the expected delivery date (again on time). The cleaned rugs were well wrapped and delivered to the rooms I wanted them in.

Arrived on time and got straight to work. House was empty as we were moving out and cleaning carpet per lease agreement. Carpet was older and worn but had no obvious stains to work on. Landlord was happy with results and so were we. I would recommend and use his service again especially with the Angie's List deal.

He was extremely thorough and got spots out of my carpet that I had thought would be impossible. He checked in with me afterwards to see if any spots had reappeared. He is a VERY nice man!

I would give him a 'B' rating. He was really nice, he was on time, he re-stretched some carpet or us and it looks much better than it did. The carpets looked nice but there were little blue specs as they dried. I don't know if it was the soap but I just took a wet rag and dabbed it to get them off. I don't know what that was. There was an additional cost because we paid for the stretching and had him do a couple of rooms. But that was a long time ago.

This was our second time using Hew's Carpet Care, and the results were as good as the first time. Hugh arrived on time and immediately confirmed the price was as promised on Angie's List. He even accepted another coupon I had found in a magazine, thus lowering his price even more. He worked quickly, not taking any breaks, and was extremely thorough in his work. As we had told him that we were having guests that evening, he provided two fans to help dry the carpet and left them with us as he had another customer that afternoon, saying that he would come by the next day to pick them up....which he did. We are very pleased with the job that Hugh did. He was courteous, neat, and very hard working, and the carpet looks great! We will definitely be calling him again in the future.

I purchased a big deal from him and he was not helpful or courteous. He acted like it was nothing. He was of no help. I found him to the point of being rude. He could not have cared less.

This was one of the easiest experiences I have ever had with a contractor. I purchased the coupon through Angie's List and called to make an appointment. I was a little nervous because I was on a tight timeline. I was able to get an appointment within two days. I was putting the house on the market and needed the carpets to look great. Mr. Hew came in and immediately got to work. He was even able to get out some stains that I thought would be tough. Overall, he helped to meet my tight deadline and did a wonderful job with the carpet. It hasn't looked that good in years.

In the begining I had to place additional calls because they were only responding through Angie's List mail system and not regular email, I feel he was putting up an additional barrier. He had a lot of miss information about the deal and what it included. He seemed very irritated when I tried to get a more accurate confirmation of the time he'd arrive besides 10a-2p. When he got there he wanted extra money to do the entire unit but we didn't need all that done we had already measured off what we wanted done and the amount to be done within the parameters with what was included in the deal. He didn't what to do that and said, " I don't need this [expletive]!" and walked out. Buyer beware on this company. They are just looking for ways to get additional funds from any specials and deals they are offering. Especially when you've made arrangements to clear out your time and the space to be cleaned, they feel like they have you at a disadvantage.

This covered two small rooms of about 400 sq ft. This worked out fine. This was a good deal. They did not vacuum before they did the cleaning. They were very responsive and flexible with scheduling. They had one tech come out and do the work.

The technician arrived shortly after he called and got right to work. The process took about 20 minutes. The carpet looks terrific.

It went very well. Mr. Hew did exactly what we needed and asked for. He was very courteous and he came when he said he was going to come. We were just pleased with the results of the carpet cleaning.

He showed up on time and did a good job. I think they were above average. We had some additional work done like the stairs so We had to pay more for stairs.

I'm glad this business person has so much business that he's unwilling to even talk to customers politely or work out a fair deal. The angie's list promotion does not specify residential vs. commercial, so when I called and booked the appointment, it was only after the fact that I was informed that it was going to be twice what was advertised. I asked to kindly work out some kind of fair deal and the person simply responded "No" and I said "Really, you don't wish to have my business?" and he said "No" and hung up. Oh well. Again, glad you have SO much business that you can afford to be exceptionally rude to potential customers.

Hugh did a great job. He has a very positive and business-like approach to his business. Could not ask for better service.

Hew is great to work with. I will def use him again.

Forgot the cost but remember it being incredibly reasonable. Service was outstanding. Plan on using continually in future.

Hugh showed up on time for estimate and the day of app. He is very friendly and responsible. We will call him again when we need the service. He did carpet clean for my single house and town house.

It was great and they did a very good job. They were very professional and we had no complaints at all. They were quick and they did the job exactly as we expected.

Hew was amazing! Uses all natural products and carefully cleans your carpet removing stains as he went along. (No extra charge for stain removal like so many others do!) The carpet is still drying but I am not seeing stains come back like many other carpet cleaners I have used in the past. Very satisfied!
