Apparently he doesn't have the ability to heat the water to clean the carpet. He had to fill a bucket from my bathtub. He was very nice, but I don't feel he was very professional or did a very good job.

My experience with Hew's Carpet Care was excellent. They were on time and efficient.

It worked out really well. We really liked it. It was really well done and it was timely. They took care of everything we needed.

Used special offer and while the offer was only for wall to wall, the owner offered a similar deal for area rug. Arrived on time, left drying fans for carpets, and was very professional. Highly recommend him.

They weren't able to come to my area, but they responded through email to apologize that they couldn't service my area and I was able to get a refund.

This company is TOPs!! I reached out to HEW's and they came out and gave me an estimate on Tuesday and did the work today 2-15-14 (it's also snowing today!!) Mr. Hugh is extremely professional, polite and knowledgeable about carpets. He explained the process of how they stretch the carpet (they don't just use a "kicker"). They use a process that will completely stretch out the ripples and keep it secure. Mr. Hugh arrived on time, laid out a protective sheet on my floor and went right to work. He was very precise and neat when working on the carpet. I'm extremely happy with the work. If you need some type of carpet car, this company won't dissapoint. THANK YOU HEW's Carpet Care.

It’s been 2 years, but everything seemed fine from what I remember.

We'd been in our house for about 10 years, and the day I moved in, I noticed our carpet needed to be stretched - not just cleaned. He was good, but what he had to work with was awful.

Everything went very well. I highly recommend Hews.

For most part stains came out that were left behind from the previous owner, however, it bleached the carpet a bit too much. Hew was pretty nice himself.

Hew was prompt, courteous and efficient. I had about 330 square feet of carpeting and Hew was done within an hour of arriving! I was very pleased and recommend him!

Hew was very professional and courteous. He arrived as scheduled with a phone call to let me know that he was on his way. He did work around my preference ie start in the basement first and work his way up so I could clean in a few of the other rooms on the main level and upstairs. He also provided big fans to assist in the drying of my carpet and came back as promised to pick up the planes.

Even though I used the $50 coupon good for $100 worth of service, the cleaning of my three rugs was a bit more in cost than I anticipated (about $480). Only one oriental was a 8 x 10, while the other two were 5 x 6 or smaller.

We made an appt time and date and they guy never showed up but later called to say he was schedualed to come on at another time and date that did not work for us.

He did an excellent job. Very carefully prepared the areas that were to be cleaned. Would not hesitate to contact this company again. The final cost was exactly as quoted.

My husband and I purchased a Big Deal from Angie's List. We scheduled our appt and received a three hour window. Hugh called thirty minutes out so we knew approximately when he would arrive. Once at our home, he got right to work. He was able to remove a stain that we had noticed when we bought our house. Only issue was a small spot that came up after the carpets were dried.

He made a point of coming the same day and did a great job removing the soiling and smell.

Cleaned all areas very competently. Extra charge for stairs not included in first estimate -- that was OK with me. He returned to pick up his large fans the next day, and cleaned small areas that needed re-touch. I would definitely call him later. He was very pleasant and easy to discuss carpet issues with. Very competent. Would definitely use him again. Price was reasonable and quality very high.

It was a magnificent experience. I was very satisfied and happy that I found this vendor on Angie's List.

Provider showed up on time and quickly got to work. Hugh vacuumed and then cleaned the carpet which had cat stains as well as a few unidentified red stains (wax? crayon?). The cleaning occurred at 10:30 AM and it was dry with no fans by 8 PM. The carpet looked good upon drying and even better once we vacuumed as a finishing touch. He was polite and professional.

Good - friendly and added to the 99 dollars that we signed up to due to size increase - seem fair

They came when they said they would and did the job. My wife was very pleased with how well it turned out .For some reason we did not complete this review, the carpet came out nearly new looking we will definitely ask him to come to our house again and we have recommended Hew to everyone we know .

Mr. Hews cleaned my carpets and also fixed the huge ripples which had made the carpet unsightly and dangerous. He arrived on time and explained what he would do. He had to move furniture to get to the creases in the carpet. He used tools to pull up the carpet and stretch the carpet. Then, he had to cut the edges of the carpet before nailing it down again. He did this in at least two different rooms. He then cleaned the carpets in the hallway, the family room, the stairs, and the upstairs hallway. He insisted on leaving two blower dryers to help dry the carpet. That meant that he had to return the next day to pick up the dryers. The following day when he returned to pick up the dryers, I told him that I had discovered another area that needed to be stretched in the upstairs hallway. He did this job for me as well. I am very pleased with the work done by Mr. Hews.

They showed up on time and made sure the job was completed properly.
