I did not realize how great a good carpet cleaning would turn out. It's like the carpets were new again and all the stains remove. It's so cheap that it's probably worth doing at least once a year. I"m moving and would use them again on our new house.

Service was punctual and thorough. They did their best on old carpets.

I purchased a carpet deal from Angies List for Hews Carpet Care. I had to cancel my first appointment and reschedule without problem. The day of my appointment, Mr. Hew the owner, arrived and cleaned the areas I requested efficiently and without problem. The carpets were clean and fresh and Mr. Hew was delightful to work with. I recommend this company and will use them again when I need their service.

While not the least expensive option available the value for the money spent was exceptional. I can recommend Hew's without exception.

Before purchasing Hews carpet cleaning deal of $200 worth of carpet cleaning for $99, I emailed them asking for clarification as to exactly how much carpet would be cleaned for the $99 coupon, as well as requesting whether or not his team would travel to my area to provide services. His response was clear, 450 sf. He never addressed the question of whether my home was within his area of service, but that part is irrelevant to this review anyway. So, after purchasing the coupon, I contacted him requesting a date to have our carpets cleaned and, after a few back and forths, he mentioned the 350 sf of carpet which was included in our agreement. When I responded that my quote was for 450 sq of cleaning not 350 sf, he said that, not since last summer (2013) had this coupon included 450 sf. Well, when I forwarded him our correspondence clearly showing his commitment BEFORE I purchased which included 450 sf of carpet cleaning, he stated that he had never written that and to ask Angieslist for a refund! Now, I am a reasonable person, but, when someone accuses me of email doctoring for my benefit, well......can you imagine? I told him, "Sir, I am a Christian woman and there's no way on on earth I'd offend our good God for a few dollars cheated on carpet cleaning!" After giving him ample time to clarify (apologize) and after no response, I decided I needed to write a review for all of you. Just beware. This company's reviews don't seem to reflect the company I dealt with. I have requested my refund and will keep looking for a good carpet cleaner.

I purchased a discount coupon on line ($99 for $200 worth of cleaning. We made an appointment when we wanted it. As promised they called 30 minutes ahead of time to tell us he was on the way and he arrived as scheduled. He was professional, did a good job and cleaned up after he was done. I was surprised, though, that he did not put protective plastic squares or Styrofoam blocks under the wooden legs of the heavy furniture (recliners, sofa, dining room table, coffee table). We had moved all the light furniture to different rooms and removed all breakables from the remaining items. This is the first cleaning service we have used that did not do that.

Hew arrived on time and proceeded to inspect the carpet. Due to the fact that the carpets were heavily soiled (we have 2 dogs) Hew advised that there would be an additional charge to clean the carpets. The additional charge was 100% of his listed price plus the $100 that I paid for $200 worth of cleaning. I expected to be charged an additional $70 for his listed price of $270 but I didn't expect to be charged a total of $370. Unfortunately he had the upper hand since I was expecting guests from out of town in two days and didn't have time to reschedule with another company. I reluctantly agreed to the additional charge. I will say that Hew worked very h****** the carpets and he did a fairly thorough job. The carpets came out nice, initially, but the stains that appeared to be gone reappeared in a couple of weeks. I could have paid a lot less and had the stains reappear. I won't use Hew again because I like to have my carpets cleaned every 3 to 4 months and $400 each time is out my budget.

He cleaned the floors okay but used a spot cleaner and it ruined the carpet. I had to replace the carpet it cost about $800 to replace. I didn’t ask for any money back because I Okayed the spot cleaner. He did what he could; he’s been in the business for years. I was a little shocked that he left spots in the carpet. I really liked the owner a lot, he was a nice guy.

Unfortunately I did not need his services.

Hugh took a call on Sunday after a washing machine hose failed and caused water damage to the carpet in the bedroom. He agreed to come on Tuesday afternoon. Before his arrival the furniture and carpet was removed and the wet pad removed. The original carpet was air dried with fans. Hugh obtained the right thickness pad which he brought with him and replaced the pad and installed the carpet. The job was done efficiently with excellent results. He was comfortable working with berber wool carpet which another A rated Angie's list carpet repair competitor would not touch.

I will be using him again this spring.

Great Job and I don't think anyone could beat the price. We know, we shopped around and took notes. I would definitely recommend Hew's Carpet Care to anyone who needs their carpet cleaned.

Ok service; a bit pricy. Carpet did not smell clean even after it dried.

This was a somewhat misleading deal. The area they offer to clean is 350 sq ft., and you can add 100 sq feet for $139 and steps at $3 per step, but there was no mention of an extra charge for stairs within the deal or their personal website. They are really not offering much of a deal at all. They are just trying to get you to purchase the upcharges. It would now cost me twice as much as what they are advertising to fully clean the carpets in my home. This is a bait-and-switch move; he offers the price to bring you in and then upcharges you.

I purchased a $99 coupon for $200 worth of carpet cleaning. I received an email full of restrictions AFTER I purchased the coupon, which also stated it only covered 350 sq ft. This seemed like a small area for $200. I asked them about it and they told me to measure my room, but I didn't have a tape measure nor time to do it. I cleared out 2 rooms. The man was very punctual - my only compliment. He measured the rooms and told me I was over 100+ sq ft over. I told him how I didn't really think it a courtesy to let the customer know about the square footage restrictions until after they purchase the coupon. He said I could pick a section of the room not to clean or pay an extra $40, making it $120 a room to clean (if I didn't have a coupon)!!! I politely told him $120 a room seems excessive. And he said those were my choices or I could get a refund. I had already moved all the furniture (they don't move furniture), and cleared everything out, so I told him go ahead but I didn't think my review would be that good. I said it calmly - I think it's fair that a customer tells a company if they don't completely agree with costs or services. I was not rude, I did not yell, I merely voiced my opinion. He said "I'm not doing this" and walked out and slammed my door!! I opened the door and asked "are you really leaving? That's it? No compromising? This is your customer service?" But got no answer!! I have done a lot of shopping around for carpet cleaning, and they are all basically around the same cost. Never have I or any of my friends paid $120 a room, nor had someone walk out like an immature child because you disagree with a price. .
