First, Hugh e-mailed me through Angie's List within the time stated from purchase. Great no problem. I got a list of his fine print which contradicted the fine print of the coupon. So, we went back and forth and I called twice with no return phone call. Finally, he answered. I asked about the discrepancy and described my house to him. I was quite calm and then he went off on me before I could even finish my thought. He was furious that I questioned and wouldn't stop yelling at me over the details and said to take the business elsewhere and get a refund before I could even ask about a compromise. His fine print which was not stated on the original posted deal - our voucher is worth 350 sq. ft. no matter the condition(example heavily soiled) of residential wall to wall tacked down carpet steps are $3 each, does not included soil filtration(black around the edges), red stains removal is not included, does not include heavy odors (like for example pet, cat snake etc.), we broke a candy dish recently from moving furniture so we will not be moving furniture anymore, oriental or area rugs are not included $2 per square foot in home cleaning, please confirm this is the correct address, please have the carpets vacuumed, light furniture moving only, if this an apartment we charge $20 to put the equipment up one flight of steps or using elevator, two flight of steps $30 and so one, the equipment is heavy, Air mover fans can be rent for $10 allowing your carpet to dry quickly, parking is your responsibility you are required to provide parking and please have a printed copy of the voucher. DO NOT BUY THIS COUPON OR USE THIS COMPANY. Trust me, save yourself the trouble.

Mr. Hew did a great job. I have used his service in the past and will use it again in the future. He came on time and fufilled his end of the coupon terms. What more can you ask?

Everything went smoothly as planned. However the cleaner forgot to turn our water off.

Responsive, Punctual and the carpets look fabulous!

The contractor came and cleaned the carpet in our guest room. He kept his promise to call 30 minutes before arrival. He assessed the condition and then proceeded with cleaning the carpet in all designated areas of the house. Some stains were really set in and required a second visit. He was, again, on time for the second visit and did the best he could to remove the tough stains. Unfortunately, the stains were too inset to remove but he did the best he could, on his hands and knees, to scrub the stain out. Hews is my contractor of choice for taking care of our carpets.

My carpets had not been cleaned for over a year and were extremely soiled (we have two children and a small dog). When completed, my carpet and steps looked almost new. HEW took the time (over two hours) to ensure that every square foot of carpet was cleaned before he left. I am really happy with the result and would gladly use HEW again.

Everything turned out well, and I had no problems with the service.

He left behind his drying fans to get the carpet dry. He came back the next day to pick them up. He was on time for the appointment and curteous and tolerant of my children. He was thorough and the treatment did not smell or leave an odor. I had to go back over some of the spots since he did not get them out.

It went fine, better than I expected. I had no complaints whatsoever. He was on time, neat, and polite. He did a good job and he was conscientious. It was $40 more than the $99 but based on what I paid in the past, that was not unreasonable.

He came two days before to measure and give us an estimate. We needed a very quick turn around time. Hugh came alone and worked hard. The rooms looked great after he completed the work. It did take two days for all the carpets to dry. The house looks good, smells good, and we are pleased with the punctuality, work completed, and Hugh's good nature. We will definitely use this service again, perhaps on a yearly basis from now on! :)

Heewas very good and responsive. He was very very polite. I had just found someone else to do the work.

Fantastic service. Punctual, courteous, professional. Did a great job and got out stains that others had not been able to get. Definitely will use them again.

My carpet is old. He did the best he could with what he had to work with.

The provider was on time. He went straight to work and clean my carpet. I was very pleased.

Came on time, he was very professional, came in and went right to work and I was very satisfied with the work. I don't have any complaints about how he cleaned the carpet. It was clean and the additional amount that he asked me that I needed to pay because he did some spot work in direct areas and he got the spots off. That was more than I couldn't said for the steamer place. He's excellent.

Angie's Big Deal specified up 900 sq. ft. of carpet and a flight of stairs could be substituted for a room. When the cleaning person arrived he informed me that each step would be $3.00, I have less than 33 steps and less than 900 sq.ft of carpet. I told the cleaning person to honor the Big Deal as advertised, he told me to call Angie's List and get my money back and then he left. This appears to be a typical bait and switch

He arrived promptly and did a good job cleaning.

It went very well. I was very satisfied. They were on time and they did a good job. They didn't leave a mess anyplace and they were very courteous. The only other carpet cleaning service I used was Stanley Steamer who are more expensive.

Excellent service. The carpet had a wrinkle that was getting worse and the gentleman stretched it so that one could not tell there was ever an issue. He was personable, professional, and efficient. The carpet in a room that sees heavy traffic has not looked this good since it was installed (yes, we've had it cleaned before). It was a small job but I would engage Hew's again based on the results.

Okay, but I want to try someone else next time.

This was part of a $99 for $200 worth of carpet cleaning deal purchased through Angie's List. I only have carpet in a small attic bedroom, and I still had to pay an addition $69 for stairs. The appointment email went to spam, so I had to call to reschedule. Not much "friendly" to this service. The carpet looks worse than it did before cleaning. What I thought was discoloration due to moisture is actually chemical discoloration. And there's a black band of dust on the white carpet all around the base boards, up the sides on stairs and around each piece of furniture. Not a very thorough clean. I probably would've been better off renting a machine at the grocery store.
