The carpet cleaning went really well! We had them clean before we moved out and they did a good job. I think the price was reasonable and I was satisfied with the quality of their work. We let the carpets dry overnight. The one person that came out was thorough and finished in about 4 hours. They were very prompt in calling me back to schedule.

The carpets have never been cleaner. We've had them done by another company twice before, but the spots always came back. Mr Hewes did a very good job, and we are very pleased with the results. He was a little late coming, but called us and explained why he would be late, so we weren't sitting around wondering where he was. We found him on Angie's List and looked at the comments about him and took a chance, and now we know why the reviews are so good. Will definately call him again next time.

The coupon sounded like a good deal until we got into the details of what we needed. We also noted they were quite a ways away from us. Our cleaning/stretching need was much larger and we ended up going with a different Angie's List vendor who happens to be nearby.

Hew was great at explaining the services to my wife, as I could not be there. We bought the $99 deal, but then added the pet smell treatment throughout ($169) and the additional stairs ($30), which are reasonable. The pet smell was prominent for a week after the treatment. This concerned me, since we were getting ready to rent the place. We called Hew and he scheduled the next available time to come out to the townhouse. However, in the next few days the smell had vanished, therefore canceled the revisit. Overall, we were satisfied with the service.

In and out in no time at all.

Hew was on time and got right to work. He got stains out that I did not think were going to come out. Very well done.

Cleaned Carpet and did Repairs and stretching of a problem area.

I sent him to my residence in Fairfax by mistake, instead of my rental property in Rockville. It was my mistake on how my location was set on Angie's list. He came to Rockville the next day, and was very courteous about it. He completed the work promptly, was very thorough, and very professional. He did a great job. I am very satisfied.

Company was quick to contact me following the purchase of the voucher, however, the details of what the coupon covered could have been much clearer prior to the purchase. I can not fault Hugh on his customer service, or the details he has provided subsequent to the purchase - nor Angie's list, however, I was able to find an alternative Company which better met my needs.

The company did a great job. Punctual, price and quality of the job was great. They did an awesome job with our dingy stairs. It looked like new after they were done.

Went very well, most all of the identifiable stains lightened or came out (he pre-treated) even some of the residue of liquid laundry detergent spills.Dried nicely, and in the time frame he described.

They just weren’t able to do it in the time frame and the deal did not include steps.

Guy did a very thorough job getting up stains and really taking his time in an effort to do a good job. My only issue is after paying for the cleaning up front online with a "special" they were having, my condo was a bit larger so there was an additional charge...all of which was not a problem and I knew up front. The issue is that the guy could not take a credit-card so I had to run up to the ATM to get cash...that would have been nice to know prior to prevent the last minute running out to the ATM.

Hew's Carpet Care was very professional. He did a tremendous job on some tough stains from my small children. He was on-time, respectful of my home and worked diligently. He came to my house to provide an estimate prior to cleaning. I will definitely use him again.

Hugh did a fantastic job. He was very thorough and was the best I have had over many years. We may have paid more for the service than the cost of the Angie's coupon. I just don't recall. We've had a lot going on in our lives over the last couple of months.

Did not use the service. Too many extras. Also, they do not move furniture.

It was scheduled from 10AM-2PM. I had to call when he didn't show up. He said he was running a few minutes late. He showed up 2 hours late and said I needed to pay an extra $100 for the carpet cleaning. When I brought up that he was 2 hours late and now wanted more money, he said he wasn't going to do it and left.

Hew's Carpets did an AMAZING job! We had broken a bottle of wine and stained the off white berber carpet in the basement in October 2010. We tried to remove the stain ourselves and a previous professional who had cleaned our rugs told us it would be a waste of money for him to try to get it out. He told us that it would never come out. But almost three years later, Hugh worked on the stain and it is barely noticeable! He said if he had come sooner after it happened he might have been able to do an even better job. We wish we had known him before. He was so professional and nice. Our carpets looked great after he finished.

It went very well. Hew accomplished all his tasks in an evening, by himself, was thorough and methodical. He understood what my goals were and kept working until he achieved what I was hoping could be achieved. The charges for his services were roughly half of the estimates i received from other reputable companies. I also received the 'special credit' that i signed up for through Angies list. I highly recommend Hew's Carpet Cleaning services.
