Excellent! Hugh called before arriving so we knew when to expect him and he arrived right on time. We walked through the house to discuss what needed to be done. He put tarps down on our porch and wood floors to protect them while he cleaned the carpets in our whole house. He left us plastic shoe covers to wear until the carpets were dry so we could walk on them without making them dirty. The carpets look great!!

Very professional and friendly. Came in got right to work and was done in no time. Carpets looked real good when he was done!

Amazing job I could not believe the different variation of stains he talk out. The saying is true you get what you paid for. We got a great but a far better professional who had passion for what he was doing.

He did a great job, however I apparently used the wrong big deal for the service requested and even though the incorrect deal was more money paid to him, he seemed disgruntled that we used the wrong one.

I called Hew's carpet cleaning to schedule a cleaning of my carpets and 3 staircases. I can't recall the name of the gentleman with whom I spoke but I gave him my sq footage and he gave me a price. I said I had a coupon but he gave me a different price. I decided to keep the appointment since the reviews were so good, but the day before the cleaning I called explain I had over measured my sq footage and now had the floor plan to go by and gave him the correct sq footage. He quoted me a lower price, but said it's $300 if lightly soiled and $500 if heavily soiled. I told him I had an Angie's List coupon stating it would be $249.99 for under 1350 sq ft and read him the coupon. He said he doesn't recognize that. I asked if he would honor the coupon and he said "no, that's an old coupon. I won't honor it". This didn't give me very much confidence in having them come out especially since I was now hearing there could be a difference of $200 if the carpets were heavily soiled. I believe they are lightly soiled since we don't wear shoes in the house, but worried it would be another bait and switch once the carpet cleaner arrived. It didn't seem right that he wouldn't honor the coupon, so I declined to have them come out and will hire another company. Very disappointing. Anyone scheduling with them should know he won't honor the coupon on this Angie's List page.

Great. I hired Hew to clean the same carpets a couple of years ago. He showed up on time and did a professional job. I'll call on him again the next time I need my carpets cleaned.

This was not an easy job. We have a four level townhome in Occoquan. Its a lot of carpeted stairs, landings, and is a very difficult job. I am late posting this review because we had the work done months ago and I want to apologize to Hew for not being more prompt. Our townhome is not that old, built in 2010. But we are **** ** the carpets. We have had them cleaned twice by a local company and another "green solution" company. The carpets didn't look much better after either company was done. Hew was a totally different story. He put a lot of work into cleaning them and removing the stains. When he was done they looked as good as new. We were truly amazed and gave him a $150.00 tip. You cannot do better for carpet cleaning than Hew. He cares about his business and it shows. Thank you Hew for doing such a great job. The cost of the job without the tip was $475.00.

This provider became confused by the fact that I had rescheduled our appointment mistakenly by e-mail. I immediately sent a reply to keep original date, but never received a reply to either of my messages. This led me to believe that neither e-mail was read and that our original date was in tact. The appointment was scheduled for 8:00. I called at 8:30 to find out if they were coming to which the gentleman replied "I got an e-mail message saying the appointment needed to be rescheduled". I stated that there was a 2nd e-mail to disregard the first message, and was then told that they would not be able to come. All this after I had moved furniture because they do not do that. very disappointing and I can understand where they may have gotten confused, however it's a good business practice to confirm an appointment or a re-schedule and I find it most disappointing that my e-mail/s were never responded to at all.

Hew did a great job...very thorough, professional, and carpets looked great!

My request for service was responded to quickly. Hew's accommodated me by scheduling the cleaning on a date that suited my work schedule. The were on time and worked qyuickly.

Hew was great! Our carpets look close to new. He was very helpful in addressing any questions and concerns we had and came off as a very honest person. He may seem sort of short when you first call him but I think that is because of the language barrier because in person he is great! We will definitely be using him again and our family members are interested because of what a great job he did and the fair price he charged!

We were pleased that Mr. Hew was able to complete this job with minimal disruption to our home. Furniture that had to be moved during the + 3 hour project was returned to the proper place.

Did an amazing job. Cleaned stains and stairs. The old dirty tired looking carpet looks new and fresh. This is the second time I have used Hews and I would use them again and again. Wonderful job.

Everything went awesome! He did and amazing job and the ducts were so much cleaner. People who have been to our house so far think that we have brand new carpet in the areas that he cleaned.

Hugh was very responsive to my questions when he arrived and most importantly, very honest. He was also very pleasant and easy to talk to. He took a look at some of the stains and was honest about whether or not they could be removed. He was also very honest about other areas I was considering having cleaned, saying that he'd be happy to do it, but did not want me to waste my money since they looked great already (he was right, I just thought it wouldn't hurt to have it done). I really appreciated that. As far as the spots in the carpet, he really took his time to carefully assess the area and pretreat them with a variety of pretreatments, before shampooing. Overall, my carpet looks SO much better than it did before, thanks to Hugh's very hard work. I will definitely be using him again, and would recommend him to anyone.

The master bedroom carpet was badly stained with a red wine spill and pet stains. The hallway was heavily trafficked and the stairway hadn't been done in years. I am amazed at how good they look. zhew's responded promptly to my service request, met my preferred near-term service date and were prompt and efficient. I definitely will use Hew's again.

Service was a while ago but he was prompt and did a good job.

He was able to come on short notice since I am expecting company. He always goes above and beyond what is asked of him.

After my renter moved out the state of the carpets in my condo was pretty dismal. Hew's came in a did a terrific job cleaning the carpets and getting all of the stains out. I will most definitely call them again!
