Description of Work: I had a new furnace and a/c unit installed. I have used Dwyer for the last 40 years for my plumbing and HVAC and have had only good experiences with them.

Description of Work: Plumbing was backed up on a Saturday. They promptly sent two men out. This has been a repeat problem, with backup previously identified close to the road. Later found out that they only ran a 35 ft small snake this visit. Was going to leave before drain by basement was fully functioning...had to show the technician that the drain was not working well and he came back to resnake. Charged 1200.00 for this visit...not confident problem was fully solved. Plumbing backed up again 3 days later. They came back and ran a 75 ft snake, found problem at 45 ft and cleared the system. We requested a reduced charge on return visit since they did not do a complete job the first time knowing the history of our system (we had paid for a camera exam last major backup which identified the area of blockage to be far into the system). Dwyer refused. Charged full price for both visits. We have been using Dwyer for years and liked thier prompt service and knowleadgeable team. We think 1900.00 over three days was an unreasonable charge for clearing our drain. The fact that the first visit was not comprehensive added to our disappointment.

Description of Work: I called them to look for a leak because of a very high water bill. They came billed me $177, but the water bill continued high. Then, I asked them to check the outside faucet (perhaps it was leaking or someone was stealing water). They did a complicated job of "disabling" the outside faucet and charged me $1500. However, our tenant noticed that anyone with a standard "key" could still access the faucet. So then they came and activated the on/off switch from the inside-----to "off." Still, the high water bill continued. Finally, they came and checked the toilets again, and found something that might work. But they only fixed one toilet, had to be talked into returning. Sent me a bill for this as well. Very expensive, not very competent. Finally the water seems to have fixed itself. Did I waste every penny? When I called to complain, not much interest. Finally paid the bill, won't use them again.

Description of Work: On a cold day in early October we decided to turn on the heat. While it came on briefly, the system then shut itself off. A call to Dwyer at 8am had a technician at my home by 12:30 pm the same day (we do have a service contract with them). The technician spent an hour just trying to diagnose the problem and eventually found 2 problems with the system. He cleaned the air intakes that were clogged with leaves and replaced a pressure switch. Overall, they are consistently professional and perform excellent work. PS... we are now warm and toasty...
