When I called I specifically asked if they worked in MD since they were located in VA. I was told yes. One hour later I got a call from the company and they told me they don't go into MD. I told them that I had asked and was told yes. I was told it is an answering service and she will correct them. Since we are experiencing a February that has been ranked only 2nd to one since the 1930's, this loss of heat is critical and it is very irritating that I was waiting to hear from them only to find out I have to call around again. The woman was frank and not very friendly. This is not the first time I have called an Angie's List company to find out they don't work in MD.

Excellent work. They had to remove my basement shower floor through concrete to reach the rotted drain. They completed the work in less that one day and did an excellent job of cleaning up after. I've used Dwyer for years to repair pin hole leaks in my basement copper plumbing and they are always timely and good.

They provided a very prompt response. The workmen were cordial, efficient, and competent.

The plumber arrived during the time period promised and completed the work efficiently and effectively. They tested the replaced pipe and it worked fine. They also explained that if the drain clogs again in the future that we should not snake it but instead unscrew the bolt and clean it manually.

Great job, on time and efficiently done and left the place as clean as when arrived.

The Dwyer plumber was somewhat reluctant to fix the pump problem since they weren't doing a total installation with their own pump and parts; not something they normally do. Also, it was somebody else's screw-up, but we didn't want the other guys back since we had lost confidence in them (and money). All the work was done in 2 visits by Dwyer. Finally, after 3 different plumbers (other than Dwyer), the job was done right by Dwyer. They're not the cheapest, but they do the job right. It's hard to find a reliable plumber, as there are a lot out there that claim to be one and are really not.

Very knowledge and work was completed quickly. Another plumbing company gave an estimate that was three times the estimate from Dwyer. Also, the plumber from Dwyers seemed more knowledgeable and experienced than the plumber from the other company. They gave me an arrival time and they were there 30 minutes ahead of the time.

Very prompt service. Came the same day that I called. Courteous. Will return to fix the second problem.

They arrived promptly and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. I do think paying a $70 service charge was a bit much, but I was pleased with the work.

Responded very quickly especially because it was a Sunday evening. Came right after that. It was very good service for off hours. Very good at explaining what the problem was and what we should do and look for in the future.

The workmen arrived promptly at about 8am and worked until 6pm. They tested the system before they left and made sure I understood the new thermostat. Also, I had arranged for a few extra items to be taken care, i.e. fix the water line for the humidifier, air ducts sealed, and some old heater wires disposed of properly. Everything was finished in the same day. I would recommend Dwyer to anyone for price, efficiency and service. Excellent job done!

They arrived when they said they would, promptly fixed the pipe in less than an hour. Great job, would recommend/use them again.

Came at the time agreed upon. Technician was courteous and competent. He completed the job quickly and gave advice about another problem. It was a very satisfactory experience.

They were very clean and on time. He replaced the valve in the wall for the toilet. The next day, I noticed some leaking. The tank on the toilet was leaking. The rubber seal was leaking that was in between the tank and toilet. On Saturday, he replaced it right away.

The process was terrific! Floyd was able to complete the work within 5 hours, even though he admitted his firm didn't have much experience with tank-less heaters (they're relatively new technology in the US).

Set up appointment quickly. Workmen were courteous and when one part was defective, they came back and replaced it immediately.

Basically charged us $250 to stick a plastic pipe into an open drain. I had expected him to create a permanent solution to the washing machine situation...create a drainage system rather than just letting it drain into an open pipe. Said he didn't have the right equipment with him to do anything else.

All of the work was completed over the course of two mornings as we had agreed upon. Both plumbers were very competent, nice, and punctual.

Very well. They plumber they sent out initially was very knowledgeable and thorough. I had a high level of trust in what he was telling me. The did an terrific job.

I initially received an estimate of $409 from the first plumber I called. He looked at the toilet (without removing the lid,) flushed once, and decided he would have to remove the toilet, unclog the "mainline," and "reset" the toilet. I thanked him for his time, came on to angieslist.com, and contacted the top rated plumber in my area, Dwyer Plumbing. They offered to come as early as that afternoon, but I was unable to schedule at that time, so they came the following morning. They arrived at 8:30 end of an 8-12 window. The plumber was friendly, inspected the toilet thoroughly, and went to get tools. He unclogged the toilet in less than 15 minutes, and he charged me $89. Then he showed me how to fix the problem the next time, to save myself money. Then, the plumber actually refused a $20 tip! Overall outstanding service, made even more so by the horrible experience with the other plumber.

It went very well. Worker was on time, skilled and efficient.

Although the job was scheduled for between 8 and 12, and I received a phone call from the company at 11:15 that they were on their way and would probably be there in 1/2 hour, they arrived at 12:20. Once there, however, the plumbers checked everything out and gave me a full written estimate before beginning any work. Once they were given the go-ahead, they worked efficiently and in a professional manner. They completed all of the tasks in approximately 2 hours, cleaned up completely and double checked all of their work. All of the toilets run well now and with the new pressure gauge, the house doesn't sound like its going to explode everytime we run the water.
