My wife had noticed that our white marble (heated) floor was discolored around the base of the toilet. That, in addition to the toilet not being secured completely (and our history of finding things the previous owners had failed to take care of) lead us to believe we had a leaky toilet. We took the toilet off, removed the wax seal and found a gap between the flange and the floor (every picture we saw in books or online didn't have this). In order to be safe, we contacted Dwyer to come and take a look (expecting that they would have to do something fancy to fill in the gap). Karl took a look and basically told us everything was fine. He then explained what exactly we should do to ensure that the toilet doesn't leak (shims in the back, using a regular sized wax seal, etc.). In all, it was definitely worth the $70.

Very good. Pipe burst around 9 a.m. on a weekday morning (thankfully I was home and able to turn off the water main!) -- they were out within about an hour of my call, and had the broken segment replaced within two hours. I was extremely pleased they were so responsive and very happy that they were able to find and fix the problem (it was up under the drywall of the ceiling, in a very labyrinth plumbing system!)

The company completed the work described as scheduled. The plummer and his assistant were on-time. The work was completed in a timely and professional manner. They were very knowledgeable and offered quotes when I asked them about the sump pump replacement cycle. They cleaned up everything after work was completed I will definitely use them again.

Excellent overall experience. I called on a Thursday afternoon to get an appointment to address a sometimes-overflowing toilet and leaky faucet. I was given an appt. for the next morning. The technician (Luis) arrived on schedule and was very pleasant and professional. He removed the item clogging the toilet (a pink My Little Pony toothbrush for those of you with toddlers out there; and then proceeded to work his way thru my list of plumbing needs. He spent about three hours on all four items that were fixed, some of the time used to track down and obtain a replacement faucet for the utility sink. He also took the time to consult with me about the pros and cons of trying to fix a 50 yr. old shower handle without having a replacement fitting on hand. He laid drop cloths at all work sites and returned any items that needed to be moved (e.g., cleaning products kept under the kitchen sink) to their original location after the work was completed.

This was an excellent experience. I've used Dwyer before with great results, and will continue using them. I note that Angie's List has rated them with B for price, but I think the price reflects the level of service, knowledge and professionalism they offer. The technician (Luis) was extremely professional, and I was very impressed. He arrived on time, assessed the job with me, called to order PVC couplings needed, worked quickly and safely, explained what he was doing and why each step was necessary. He addressed my concerns about plumbing and gas lines being so closely located, explained where my outside and inside water mains were located, explained sump pump operation, and corrected the position of one outside hose mount. The job was done with minimum disruption, he wore paper shoe covers, cleaned up after himself, and was very pleasant to work with. The final price was less than quoted. I am most satisfied, and will continue to recommend Dwyer to anyone who asks.

Job 1: They came the day after I had called them. The man did a good job. He showed professionalism and was knowledgeable about the installation. The price was fair. I will call them again for plumbing work. Job 2: Called them one morning, they arrived on site within a couple of hours. It was a minor plumbing problem but when you aren't much of a plumber its nice to know that someone will respond in a very short time and fix the problem with a minimum of fuss. It was really nice since it was just before Thanksgiving and a flooding sink is not a good thing to have when cooking for a crowd!

When I removed the shutoff valve from the end of a 60-year-old piece of galvanized pipe the corroded threads broke away. I decided that it was time to call in a plumber. I submitted a service request through Dwyer's website at 8:30AM and by 9:15AM I had a same-day service call scheduled. The plumber showed up on time, assessed the situation, and made the appropriate repairs. Plumbers can be expensive, but when you need them you need them. Thanks to Dwyer other contracting work on the house will remain on-schedule.

Technician was on-time, very courteous and thorough.

They were prompt. We called at about 4pm and they were here about 5:30 pm. It took about an hour, and the guy swept up the bits of ceiling from the floor before he left.

I was able to get an appointment that met my schedule within a day of contacting this company. I was able to arrange a first call for a followup appointment. The technician arrived as scheduled both times. He worked steadily and explained to me the steps he was taking to find the problem leak. It was a very difficult task to identify where the leak was located. He looked at all the kitchen plumbing as the washer is in the kitchen. Once identified, the fix was quick.

The technician arrived on time and was very courteous. Soon after arriving and he saw the furnace, he informed us that his company does not service oil burning heat systems. (I was not asked when I scheduled the appointment.) However, he did stay to take a look at the air flow problems we were experiencing and was able to improve the air flow significantly before leaving.

I like that they are very timely, meaning they know just when it's time to come out and get the furnace cleaned and ready for the next season. They are very trustworthy and have done a great job so far for me. The pricing is also pretty good.

I called them and scheduled the work. They arrived on time, phoned first to tell me they were on the way. The technician, Tim, was very professional and efficient. He removed the old toilet and took it away. There was a 5% discount as I was a first time customer.

They've been servicing my apartment for more than 20 years. Except for a brief period when they had been taken over by another company, they were excellent to deal with, responsive, efficient, and have four star service personnel.

They provide a great service. They have always been helpful and they guarantee their work. They had told us about a drain problem that could have costs us a lot in damages if gone unnoticed.

They came on time and were efficient. The kitchen sink drain did not need repair and they were honest about the procedure. I was very satisfied with the work. The service charge is included in the price.

This was an emergency call and they showed up at 2:30 a.m. I had called other companies and Dwyer was the only plumber to respond to my call. They were very skilled and knowledgeable about the problem.

I really was not happy with them at all. I wanted them to replace the gaskets on two toilets, but, that did not happen. He told me he did not want to change the one gasket because it was a wax gasket. Then he told me the other toilet was cemented to the floor and he would not fix it. All they ended up doing was fixing a leak. I do not know what they charged me, but, I do not think that I would use them again. They did not do anything that I had hired them to do. You just get tired of being bamboozled all the time.

It has been a pleasure working with this company. They are so professional and efficient. They replaced that central air unit that was broken and did the other repairs in a timely manner. They are quick to respond when we call. I have not had any problems with the items they have fixed.

They were on time and very friendly. They might be a little more expensive than others but well worth as they do the job right the first time. I would use them again.

Dwyer Plumbing came out to do a check of our water system and were very professional, courteous, and thorough. They did the replacement of all the old valves quickly and without leaving a mess behind when they left. I would say their service is reliable and I would recommend them to others.

I was very disappointed in them. They tried to tell me that they would have to charge me 4000 dollars for a minor job. The work that they did on the a/c was incorrect and cost me 400 dollars to have someone else come and fix it again. The air conditioning unit was not properly taken care of because they didn't add Freon. Therefore, they ruined it. I was extremely disappointed because they were highly rated on Angie's List.
