Description of Work: I am editing my review. I got Dwyer mixed up with another company, since I have had at least three different companies come out to do work this past year. Dan, the owner, called me and was very professional in asking for more info about the plumbing visit. After doing some research, I found out another company worked on my bathtub faucet. Customers may disregard any previous notes on Dwyer Plumbing. Based on the owner's conscientiousness in contacting me to find and resolve issues, I would definately do work with them in the future!

Description of Work: We had a blockage in the main waste line. They had to remove a commode and then reseal it as well to do the work. It was a little pricey, but we would call them again in a heartbeat based off their service. They cleaned it 45 feet out into the main line.

Description of Work: cleared a major clog in the in kitchen pipes between two townhomes. I live in an old house, and this is a common problem and can be very difficult to clear. They did the job well and left me in a better place. I have used Dwyer several times and always have been satisfied.

Description of Work: Twice-yearly inspection of our HVAC system. We needed a replacement pad for our whole-house humidifier, which the technician had in his truck.

Description of Work: Had a home inspector report there was mold in one of my dual zone air handler units and ductwork behind blower. Contacted Dwyer to come clean the unit (blower and evaporative coils). They do not do mold cleaning for ducts and were clear about that from the initial phone call. They were able to come out within 48 hours as I'd requested.

Description of Work: They put in a new air conditioner this summer. Two winters ago they put in a new furnace. They've done work for us for years.

Description of Work: We made a service call for a stopped up toilet.

Description of Work: Plumber gave verbal estimate of $300.00 to fix sink faucet, then wanted another $300.00 to fix slow drain (my tenant heard conversation). Jim and I wanted to get another bid, mailed bid come for $492.00. Another plumber charged $8.28 for new part, $70.00 for labor so total was $78.28.

Description of Work: Two years ago we used them to snake a difficult drain in the laundry room and they were successful. I had broken three snakes on this drain due to how the builder installed yet. We called Dwyer to come out and unclog the drain as they had done two years prior.

Description of Work: I used Dwyer Plumbing Inc to take out my bathtub as it wasn’t draining properly. I had a break at four level down in the basement for the waste pipe and they came in and dug out my basement and replaced the pipe.

Description of Work: On Monday, May 7, 2012, we discovered a main water leak flowing from our front yard. We immediately went to Angie's List to find a plumber that could make the necessary repairs. Within an hour and a half the Dwyer plumber arrived and shut off the water. He looked at the job and quoted us a price of $4200 which we agreed upon. The following morning a crew arrived and began work. They worked until late in the day and were unable to find the break. The next morning they came back, but there was another person in charge. This person stated that the crew from the day before was all wrong in their approach and so the plan to find the leak was changed. By the middle of the afternoon, with over half of my front yard completely destroyed, we called the main office. They said to tell the workers to stop and a master plumber were be there soon. We relayed this message to the workers, who just continued to work. When the master plumber arrived, he said they were going about this in all the wrong way...and, so, the plans changed again. By the time the job was finished late on Thursday, we had nothing in our front yard left, our outside plug had been torn from the house, there was mud on our downstairs carpet, there was solder on the rug in the laundry room, there was a solder footprint on our outside stair mat and, out electric smoke detected in our basement was ripped from the wall and broken.

Description of Work: Renovation of full bathroom. Gutted the bathroom. Completely replaced old plumbing in bathroom, which had started to leak. Replaced old tub and toilet. Had subcontractor put up new wallboard and install new tile for bathtub, floor and half wall. Reinstalled cabinetry (we kept the old cabinetry).

Description of Work: My garbage disposal was leaking water from the top and sides of the unit making my kitchen faucet unusable. How dreadful that was. I couldn't use the sink, dishwasher or washing machine. I found Dwyer Plumbing Corp (Inc, Service, etc.) on Angie's list yesterday, although I was very familiar with their company and their very good reputation. I called them this morning and was able to get an appointment the same day. They gave me a 4-hour window for their arrival time, from 10 am to 2 pm. Much to my delight, the plumber arrived at approximately 12 pm, which was 2 hours earlier than I had anticipated. They have a service charge of $69.95 for their visit whether or not you decide to have them perform any work. I approved him to replace my garbage disposal. They gave me a 5% new customer discount because I told them that I came to them because of Angie's list. The plumber replaced my disposal with a much better quality disposal unit than the one that had been there previously. He also replace the sink mount and the line from the sink to the disposal. Nor more water leaking and I am one very happy customer.
