Description of Work: Very efficient. When I questioned how one tree was left trimmed, they had their arborist call me on the phone to explain why, and then the crew chief pulled out the equipment a second time to reshape the tree a little more, even when he didn't have to. I appreciate them going the extra mile. I would hire them again.

Description of Work: I was very pleased with Big Steve's service. I had trees trimmed and a stump ground up. The weather caused a delay in getting the stump done but I was happy they did not try to do it when the ground was so wet and the equipment would tear up my yard. I know in a year or two I will need my trees trimmed again I will be a happy repeat customer. Good job guys!

Description of Work: We had a large 30' Bradford Pear tree come down in our backyard due to some high winds - the tree unfortunately fell against our house and was not in a great position. Due to the concern of the tree leaning heavily against the 2nd floor we felt it needed to be taken care of rather quickly; we called Big Steve's and they were out the same day for an estimate. He indicated that it was an easy job and could be accomplished on the following day. On the following day they were out, removed the tree with no damage to the house, ground the stump, and removed all the debris. Professional, quick, affordable. We have Big Steve's number in our phones for future tree issues. We highly recommend this company for your future / current tree needs.

Description of Work: They removed a 60 ft oak tree that had been hit by lightening and was rotted at its core, including grinding up the stump. The crew used various equipment to address the logistics that accompanies the removal of a large tree. We were impressed how they safely and expertly removed the limbs, including those towering over the roof line of the house.

Description of Work: the VERY large branch the removed which was over my shed was removed neatly and fast. I actually sat and watched it was that interesting;y done. They did bruise a cypress tree up some. And they could have raked up some more and cleaned off the side deck of the wood chips. Overall I would use them again.

Description of Work: Showed up on time. Removed large dead tree, ground the stump below grade, removed wood and most of the mulch/dirt debris from the grinding. Besides the big empty spot, the yard looked just like it did before they showed up. Great job!

Description of Work: Trimmed some overgrown trees, but cut a few extra branches off a tree that I specified I did not want touched.

Description of Work: Company arrived when scheduled removed two large oaks and three smaller trees. All crew were polite and professional and very safety conscious, cleaned up, and came back when soil was dry to finish grinding stumps and cleaning up. Best price of three contractors and far more professional and detailed in giving the original estimate.

Description of Work: The only contact I had was to meet Steve at our property to get an estimate to clear fallen trees and branches in our half acre wooded backyard. He seemed professional during the meeting but he was going to use a wood chipper truck that would be too large to maneuver to the backyard so all logs and branches would have to be dragged up to the driveway in the front of the house. I ended up using another contractor since this second estimate was less expensive and the procedures used were what I wanted.

Description of Work: We got firewood from Big Steve's. It is kiln dried excellent firewood. He came in the weekend to help us out with a 1/2 cord of wood. The wood burns perfectly in our fireplace. Made a cold weekend much more comfortable. It is a little on the expensive side (but then everything here is on the expensive side) but I would most definitely use this company again for firewood.
