The technician was very knowledgeable and professional. He fully explained how the appliance feature functioned and what part was causing the problem. He replaced the part and the problem was solved. He was in and out of the house in less than an hour. I HIGHLY recommender this provider.

The appointment went very well. the repairman was very knowledgeable and professional. He arrived on time, examined the refrigerator, located the problem, retrieved the parts from his truck and made sure everything was working correctly. He cleaned up the area he worked in. It probably took him an hour from arrival to departure.

My dryer doesn't need fixing it is the vent that is blocked. I am still trying to fix the vent. He was honest about it and he didn't tell me that I had to repair the dryer. He was very good. It was a very positive experience working with him. He showed me how I could still use the dryer until I got somebody to fix the vent. The quality was good.

Paul was able to come the next day, and arrived as scheduled. He explained everything, and then called back that night and again the next day to make sure that ice was being made consistently, and that no leaks were found.

Bought the big deal for any appliance repair. Was not sure if I had done the right thing but the service contractor was quite good. He diagnosed the problem in a few minutes and gave me an action plan. He was able to fix the dishwasher and get it to work again.

We had a little trouble getting together at first - we used phones at work and home and email. But Ben set up an appointment the same week I called on a day that was convenient for me. He arrived at the time scheduled, was very courteous and professional. I was very impressed with his quick and accurate diagnosis and repair. I would absolutely use him again.

Provided service the same day I called. Showed up on time; knew exactly what the problem was; explained the problem; had the part needed on the truck; replaced the part and gave advice on how to maintain the appliance so keep it in good working order. The price quoted also includes a water filter for the fridge, which the technician also had on the truck, saving me a trip to the store. Had I not bought the filter, the price including the $129 Big Deal, would have been around $150. I had called another company previously and the tech they sent was clueless as to the source of the problem. Their estimate after the original service charge was out of line for the simple problem that ARA solved on the same day I called. Also, they stated that they needed two technicians for which I would have pay extra. In contrast, ARA provided prompt, professional service at a reasonable price with only one technician! I was so impressed with the technician's knowledge and skill that I'll call ARA again.

My oven had stopped working and, as luck would have it, an Angie's List and ldquo;Big Dealand rdquo; offer came over for American Residential Appliancesand hellip;I decided to give them a try! I talked to Ben after making my purchase and he was able to come out the next afternoon. He showed up during the time frame he specified and within 20 minutes he had the issue diagnosed (bad igniter) AND fixed (part was only $33)! Ben was very nice and knowledgeable; I would definitely call him again!

Ben arrived on time after giving me a call to inform me that he was on the way. He was professional, polite, informative, and enjoyable to talk with. He was knowledgeable about the dishwasher problem. He worked quickly and efficiently, and even taught me a couple things in the process. He will be my go to person for all my appliance repairs. I will also call him for other household problems b/c there is a good chance that if he can't do the job, he knows has a friend who can do it at a fair price. He earned my trust today.

It was a bit difficult getting ahold of Ben, but once connected, he arrive 15 minutes after we spoke. My two door, side by side frig/freezer's ice maker was not shuting off when the ice bin was full, and the drinking water line was not working. Ben inspected the system, and explaining what he was doing through out the process. He explained what was wrong, and gave me a couple of options. I chose to replace the ice maker and a rubber gasker that was worn, and was allowing the drinking line to freeze. Whole process took 30 minutes. He was professional, quick and cleaned up after himself.

While parts needed to be ordered--Ben showed up on time and was impressed he didn't give me the typical 4 hour and quot;windowand quot;. He came very close to the time he had stated. After evaluating the problem and trying several things--explained the parts we may need. We agreed and he ordered the parts that were ready for delivery the following day. (Tuesday). Because of OUR schedule yesterday, we asked him to come this morning which he did. Problem was repaired quickly and efficiently and cost was minimal with what we used to pay for a repairman just to and quot;walk inand quot; the door. He also did NOT charge by the hour--but rather by the problem that needed fixed. My first experience with joining Angie's List was definitely Positive, thanks to him!

He never responded to my emails. When I finally got ahold of him and set up an appointment, he never showed up. He kept giving me a excuses, and I decided to get my money back and try someone else.

Our washing machine was not spinning and smelled like something was burning when we ran it. The service man looked at and said the motor and control board needed to be replaced for it to work again. He told us that in good conscience he could not recommend that. He told us we should just replace the wasing machine which was at least 12 years old.

Ben arrived on time, explained the problem, gave me options and recommendations. He suggested the lesser cost option (instead of the most expensive) due to the 15+years on the freezer. Totally satisfied with his professionalism and pricing.

The repair man was on time, as usual. He got right to the point and didn't try to sneak in add on, as other companies usually do. Our heat was never evenly distributed amongst the entire house. After about 15 mins the problem was fixed. He then charged us accordingly, which was a very fair price compared to some of his competitors.

my basement was flooded because my washer did not stop filling up water, i ask friends for a service company and the give me ara number, i call got schedule some day, the tech show up on time, diagnose problem in minute, and than put the new part the washer need , i only pay 125.00, other company want to charge me that much just to show up. i definitly will use them again,

They came and recognized the problem right away. He did a very professional job and was done within an hour and a half. A week after that, I was trying to install a garbage disposal and there was water backing up in the dishwasher. He came out and took care of that for me as well. He has very good rates. He had a special going of fixing any appliance for $100 or less. A couple of weeks or so passed and I noticed some water around the base of my air conditioner. He came out and found that the flow was stopped up. He hooked it up to his nitrogen tanks and blew the pipes out and fixed it. He didn't even charge me for that particular visit. He's just a real professional, courteous guy. He's very dependable and comes when he says he'll come out. He loves walking you through what he's doing so you know what's going on. He likes to inform you of every step, so I thought that was good.

We were referred to this company by a co-worker of mine when our air conditioner suddenly stopped working. The repair man came over right on schedule. He took a few minutes to inspect the unit and figure out the problem. He cleaned out the whole duct and even added free on to the air conditioning unit. He was very fast, clean, and friendly in his service. He gave us some great tips on how we can keep our duct clean in the future. Over all I was very satisfied and would definitely use this company for this service or any other home repair service again.

This was the easiest and best repair service that I have ever dealt with. I called one of the repair men on a Friday afternoon and he was at my house the next morning right on time. His name was Emad and he was clean in his work, fast, efficient, and most important of all honest. The thing I feared the most when my dishwasher broke was dealing with a repair man that would charge me an arm and a leg, but he did not do that at all. Not only that but he took a look at my toilet for me, which was not flushing for some reason, and gave me some great advice on how to repair it myself. I never actually get online to review companies but this one truly deserved it. I rate everything he did 10 out of 10. It's really refreshing to know that there are still honest people out there providing services.
