Description of Work: The blower on my central AC stopped working. I contacted my home warranty provider and they assigned AC Quicktech to the job. I contacted them and the first available appointment was three days out. They came when they said they would and discovered a blown circuit board which they would have to order. They did a temporary repair which kept the blower on constantly and came back 5 days later to install the repair part. While I was disappointed with the wait for the initial service call (which comes from being a small home warranty contractor), everything else was fine.

+ -1 moreThey were a local company here. What really struck out to me was that they had only one person working out there. He seemed to have an assistant occassionally. However, its just one person, who answered calls and went out on service-calls. It was a very small company. He was not very knowledgeable. What stood out the most was that every time he came, in the month of January, he came six times to try to determine the problem, none of those times, he figured out what was wrong with the heating system. What appeared to us was, he just started replacing parts. However, the same problem just continued. We would call the warranty company again saying it was not fixed and the same company would be back again. They came six times in the month of January and the problem was still not fixed. Then another service provider came. In the very first visit, they were able to correct and determine what was wrong. It took AC Quickteck Heating Cooling & Appliances six visits and never could determine what the problem was.
Description of Work: We used the services of AC Quickteck Heating Cooling & Appliances on 28th Jan 2011. It was to diagnose problems with our heating system. Our heating system was emitting a very foul smoky odour. It was the warrantee company; we just paid the $75 deductable. I’m sure it was way more than that.
