Description of Work: We had a leaking toilet, and it turned out that the plumber who installed the toilet incorrectly set the toilet flange below the level of the floor. The Able Plumbing technician showed me what was wrong and explained that the flange should be about 2 inches above the floor level. He said the job would take several hours because the drainpipe and flange had to be replaced, but said the price would not exceed $900.00 total. The plumber said that he would have to order the parts and come back. He came back when promised and finished the job, and the price was under what was originally quoted. Nobody likes having to repair someone else's mistake, but Able did a great job.

Description of Work: Installed a faucet in the bathroom to replace one with a leaking gasket. Cleaned up and left no mess behind, and explained some details of how to maintain the faucet.

Description of Work: Replaced handles to outside faucets. Work was done nicely. Not sure if it was needed but had the main pipe to the house replaced. More money than I thought I would have liked to spend, but now have an updated input. Yes, would recommend this company for quality work.

Description of Work: Outside they repaired a broken sewer cleanout and repaired a broken outside faucet. Both of these repairs required specialized parts which they didnot have when Brian came to do other work a week earlier. Inside they reinstalled a kitchen faucet and added 2 soap dispensers. All of their work was done quickly and competently. Honest, pleasant and they know what they are doing.

Description of Work: Superb quality. Use them if you're okay paying $180 per hour and 400% markup on parts. I frankly cannot afford them.

Description of Work: I had a outdoor drain clogged and they came to snake it. The guys did a good job and were quick. They were 45 minutes late, but that's not why I graded them down - most contractors I chose to work with run late but they call to let me know they are running late - I had to call to find out why they were not here (I had a 8:00 to 12:00 window) and the receptionist told me they were held up with a bigger problem. No apology and I had to ask her to call me back and let me know when they would be here.

Description of Work: they failed to even call back. I would have thought that a highly rated service provider like them would have at least called be to talk about the services I needed.

Description of Work: Called Able Plumbing after sump pump quit working on Saturday morning. They sent a technician to the house the same day. Technician spent 15 mins and said the line leaving the house was frozen. Situation persisted for 3 mos, and we called another plumber who determined the pump and the check valve failed. Don't believe the Able technician spent enough time to effectively diagnose our issue. We spent 3 months using a shop vac to empty the sump.

Description of Work: They fixed a leak in a pipe in the wall. Very professional, made sure there weren't any other leaks in the pipe.

Description of Work: Able Plumbing sent Nelson to install a replacement garbage disposal (pre-purchased by me). He did so quickly, despite needing to rework some of the piping under the sink to accomodate the slightly larger replacement disposal. He also replaced a bathroom sink stopper while he was here, which had not been part of the original service request. Nelson was highly professional in all regards and very pleasant to deal with.

Description of Work: I used the water heaters service of Able Plumbing Inc. They checked out my water heater, I wasn't getting a hot water and determined it wasn't the water heater but it's the circuit breaker.
