The entire visit was very fast. The plumber was in and took a look at the problem. Explained what the problem was, and asked if I wanted to get it fixed. Fixed the problem, and completed the transaction.

It went very well. I was quite happy with them. I wasn't too happy with the price but that's ok.

I chose this contractor based on the reviews I found on Angie's List. I called on a Tuesday and asked specifically for a Friday appointment. They could accommodate me and gave me a window of 4 hours for that afternoon (12-4). I was told to expect a call about 30 min before someone arrived at my house to ensure I was home. I received a confirmation call the day before. So, the day of my appointment, I received a call about an hour before my targeted window of time and was told that if I was available they could get a technician out early. Unfortunately, I wasn't home at that point but was impressed that someone was going to be available earlier than anticipated. I received a call about 45 minutes later, stating that a service tech was on their way. The promptness impressed me. Rob, showed up at my house and began inspecting the ceiling. He explained that he was going to have to cut into my ceiling to find the source of the leak and apologized for having to do that and for the mess that drywall makes. I appreciated the concern and had already prepped myself for that. He ended up cutting 2 small holes to pinpoint the leak (the holes were no larger than for him to put his head in the ceiling to look around). He found the leak, which turned out to be coming from the master toilet. He removed the toilet, replaced the wax ring and cleaned up after himself. He answered all of the questions that I had, which were numberous and was super polite to top it off. Overall, he was at my condo for less than 90 minutes. I would highly receommend this vendor based on their professionalism, promptness, politeness and knowledge of the technician, the ability to complete the job and cost. Ask for Rob! l

He came; did what we asked and left. I will use him again in the future.

They were very responsive but they sent someone out who was fixing a leak underneath my sink and he tried to tell me I needed to replace the entire faucet system on top. I told him I only needed to replace what was underneath the sink and told him to take the piece off that needed replaced. I took the piece to a hardware store and they sold me the replacement. I called and complained to Able and they were apologetic and professional. I told them I was the one who determined I didn't need new faucets and only needed the pipe replaced. They sent someone else out to install the replacement and I wasn't charged for the second trip, only the original $95 for the first visit. I liked their response and I like the way they resolved it.

Able Plumbing is extremely professional, efficient, and reasonably priced. They had been recommended by several neighbors, an it's easy to see why -- they are a proud, locally owned business, with customer satisfaction as the focus. The diagnostic work to determine the extent of the problem was thorough, with meticulous, successful efforts to minimize wall damage required to access the problem area. Access to the plumbing was done with careful consideration of making the repair as simple as possible. The expertise of the Able Plumbing professional was impressive, he was able to explain the clear detail both the problem, the cause and the resolution.

They were great work with. They were friendly and explained everything they did. They guarantee their work for a year. As a matter of fact, I’m going to use their services again!

We need to have our kitchen sink, disposal, and faucet replaced. I contacted Able and was given a date for the estimator to come out. I arranged to be at home. At 11 am that day, I was notified that the estimator was sick. We arranged another date, ten days out. By 2 o'clock on the 2nd date, when no one had shown up, we contacted Able, and were told that they'd forgotten to put us on the schedule. We arranged a third date. The estimator came out. He voiced some concern about the possibility of the countertop peeling. We told him that it was a solid countertop (we had it put in - it's solid Corian). He told us that they'd contact us with the estimate by phone. A week passed, and no word. When we finally contacted Able, we were told that they'd tried to call, but there was no answer. (The cellphone shows no such attempt. Perhaps they dialed the wrong number?) We were given a price, along with the caveat that the countertop might peel. We asked the person on the phone how that was possible, since the counter was solid. She thought that was odd and said she'd speak to the estimator. A week went by. I called, and she said that she hadn't yet spoken to the estimator. A few hours went by, and I received a call from Able, saying that the estimator had said that the countertop might peel because it was Formica. I reiterated that it is not Formica, and asked for verification that he understands that the countertop is solid, and whether the peeling is still possible in that instance. It's been a week, and I've not heard back. My guess is that they're not interested in this job, given the consistent lack of follow-through. I'm sorry to have to write this report - they seem like genuinely nice people.

I seldom give all A's unless my service experience was very exceptional which it was with Able Plumbing. I went to Angie's list and saw that Able Plumbing had received very high scores from numerous customers. The customer comments made me feel confident that I could expect to receive great service and more importantly an honest diagonsis and price estimate which is not always the case with some companies. Danilo who was the Able technician that came to my house was outstanding. He was very professional, personable, courteous and knowledgeable. He was very thorough in his explanation regarding the problem that I was having and cleaned up the area where he had been working after he was done completing the job. Danilo even reminded me of the $20.00 coupon on Angie's list that I could use which I had completely forgotten about. I had printed out the coupon earlier with the intention of using it and was happy that Danilo reminded me of it. I know that if I had run across the unused coupon later, I would have been disappointed that the technician had not said anything about it when he presented the bill to me considering I had mentioned Angie's list upon his arrival to my house. I called Able Plumbing because of Angie's llist but it was my experience with Danilo that's made me an Able customer and one who will not hesitate in the future to call or recommend them.

After calling several plumbers recommended by Angie's List, we decided to go with Able Plumbing because of their competitive rates, awesome reviews on Angie's List, and the $20 coupon for Angie's List members. I called Tues, 13 March and asked for someone to come out after 1:00 on Thurs, 15 March. As promised, we received a phone call telling us when the rep was on his way and at 1:10, Rob arrived. We showed him the problem -- 2 leaky faucets in the master bath, and he completed the work in about 20 minutes! Not only was he on time, courteous, quick and efficient, he even cleaned the sinks! We will definitely call Able Plumbing, Inc., should we require any type of plumbing service in the future. They have definitely earned their place on the honor roll!

Have to read my post on Mr. Rooter. Not going to waste time elaborating. This for the excellent experience I received with Able Plumbing, their office staff, and their plumber Donilo. From the initial call I made to them this morning through the repair I felt I have finally found a company I can trust and won't have to look further. He did an excellent job reworking the pipes to stop the leak that Mr. Rooter introduced during the initial installation. Mr. Rooter attempted to fix the leak 3 times in approximately 3 hours to no avail after creating this leak. Donilo of Able Plumbing came in assessed the situtation and immediatly went to work efficiently and solved our issue in approximately an hour. All of this from just a dripping faucet. The invoice was clear, itemized, and precise unlike the other company which I will speak of no more. I feel that if I need them they will there for me and not just blow me off. Great Job Able, Mike

Our fridge was leaking. The guys from Able came out and did an absolutely fantastic job diagnosing the problem, which was different then we thought. No, they didn't start finding "problems" as an excuse to charge me a little extra - their original estimate was right on the dot. What they did find was that two valves were not working, and they made a great suggestion about upgrading one of them to a valve that was better made. They even explained how the two differed in construction in a way I understood, and they were right. The new one is much better. The guys they sent out were incredibly professional and respectful. They left the work area cleaner than when they got there - immaculate. They tolerated my questions and explained everything they did. The short story is this is a great company, and I don't go around championing companies. I'm embarrassed it took me so long to write this - I usually wait a while to make sure work like this "holds" and stands the test of time (this did), but the days got away from me and I should have written this months ago. Sorry about that, Able, but you will be the first company I call with any problem I encounter in the future!

I was doing a repair on a toilet when the stop valve (old) broke. As my personal plumbing experience is limited to DOY tutorials, this is when I looked on Angie's list to find a plumber. Able Plumbing seemed like a good bet. I made the call and within moments, a polite and competent professional set up a timely appointment. After calling to inform me that he was on his way, Rob arrived well within the time window given. He was clean and professional. Seeing that I had already started my own toilet repairs, we worked together to shut off the water from the street (my main water shut off valve was also faulty), replace the supply tube and stop valve and tweak the work that I had already done on the toilet itself. Rob was very helpful and patient with both me and my five-year old boy who was fascinated with the entire undertaking. We both learned a lot that day. At my behest Rob then made recommendations about future preventive improvements. While we were settling up, Rob asked where I had heard about Able Plumbing. When I responded "Angie's List" he referred me to a $20 discount that I had overlooked and deducted it from my bill. He ensured me to keep an eye on the work for a month and to call him back in case any unexpected leaks or other complications emerged. I'm certain that call will not be needed. Coming in with a quality solution, faster and at a lower cost than I expected, I rate Able Plumbing excellent in all categories. Furthermore, I am confident that I will make an appointment with Able Plumbing in the near future to implement the preventive modifications that Rob and I discussed.

I had a unique problem and they responded out asap and when the plumber arrived and checked out my issue he advised me what it might be and that he would be trying a couple of things and told me what they were. I told him I had done the one procedure he was going to start with myself at an earlier date to another shower in my house. He suggested that I try that first myself and if that did not work to call him back. He sid that there would not be another "show up fee" I can't remember what the correct terminology is but that he charged me this time. He said that due to my problem it was a little hit or miss type thing. I was getting hot water out of the cold faucets in different rooms but not all. I was very very appreciative of his honesty and the problem was fixed on his first suggested fix. I will be calling and recommending ABLE Pluming the next time I have a need or an inquiry from someone as to a GREAT plummer. Thanks, Chuck Seckler

I saw that the carpet in my basement was wet and decided it was likely coming from the water heater in the closet. I found Able Plumbing on Angie's List and called them on Saturday to set up an appointment for Monday. I chose them because they were the first plumber I could find who had Saturday hours. They gave me a time from 8am to noon and Nelson came around 10:30am. He explained to me that the water heater was old and was leaking. He had a water heater with him, he figured out that it would fit in my closet, and he said he could install it in under 3 hours. He got it done just in time for me to rush off to a doctor's appointment. Nelson was very knowledgable and made me comfortable in the work he was doing.

They were able to come out within the hour, which was important. I would refer friends to this company.

Asked if they could come on Saturday. Told they would arrive between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Danilo called and said he would be there at 11:00. He showed up right on time. Danilo was a great individual. Immediately identified the cause of the leak and corrected it. I would definitely use Able Plumbing again and will ask for Danilo next time I call. Great experience. Very prompt and professional. I used $20 coupon, but still expected visit to cost more than it did. Thanks!

Able Plumbing promptly scheduled a service call to replace my kitchen faucet. Rob arrived late, though I had been contacted in plenty of time to reschedule if I was going to be inconvenienced. Phyllis explained that he got stuck on a difficult job before coming to my house. Rob went right to work evaluating my problem and was concerned that the replacement of the faucet was going to be labor intensive since it would require moving the dishwasher out of the way. He explained that it might take two or more hours of labor, but all that really needed to be done was replace the faucet spray nozzle which had gone bad. He showed me how it just twisted on and off. We located the name of the faucet and I was able to find a replacement Blanco Elan II faucet on the internet. Rob did straighten out the faucet in the master bathroom. He also replaced two hoses under the kitchen sink that were beginning to leak and made sure that everything was working and dry before leaving. He explained that the work is guaranteed for 90 days should there be any leaking after he left. I contacted Blanco the same day and they immediately shipped a new kitchen faucet head that works beautifully (since they have a lifetime warranty). I returned the replacement faucet to Lowes for a full refund. Overall it was a good experience and I am happy and satisfied with both the plumbing work - and advice - plus it is great having my faucet working again.

Great customer service. Scheduled an appt right away for us. Repairman called me at work to confirm service being requested. Repair work was excellent and labor rates were very reasonable. I did disagree on what they charged me for the parts and called after seeing the bill. The staff was very good at taking my call and understanding my complaint. The parts prices were very high but the owner did agree to refund $50 of the $120 they charged me for parts. The owner also took the time to write a long note explaining why their parts prices are higher than what I would pay at Home Depot. I appreciated the fact the owner personally sent a note of explanation and how quickly they sent me a check for the $50. I will happily use this company again.

Able Plumbing provided superb service! Customer servicce was friendly and helpful. Rob the service technician arrived on time, fixed the problem and showed me what he fixed and cleaned up very nice. They were good and I would use them again. The guy came over, figured out what the problem was and fixed it. He said if it didn't work that he would refund our part price.

When I discovered that my basement ceiling was water-logged and the floors in the basement and the kitchen were soaking wet, I called ABLE Plumbing right away. I was familiar with their work, having hired them last year fo replace a pipe that had burst underground in the front yard. I had no hesitation in calling this company again. The lady who answered my call was not only pleasant, but also most helpful in re-routing a plumber, Rob, directly to my home. Rob did a superb job in troubleshooting and fixing the problems I was having and was professional and very pleasant to work with. He pointed out the exact causes of the problem, recommended solutions, and informed me of the cost every step of the way. When he completed the job, I felt confident that the work he performed was necessary and that the problem was resolved. Rob is an outstanding company representative, and I would not hesitate again to call ABLE Plumbing should I ever in the future require any of the services they offer.

We found Able Plumbing through Angie's List a year ago. We have never been disappointed. We use them for everything plumbing related in our home and in our rental property. They are prompt, reasonably priced, honest and incredibly nice. We've had interactions with a number of different plumbers from Able Plumbing and every one was very polite. I would never use another plumber for anything. Highly, highly recommend. $20 discount on every job for Angie's List members!
