From start to finish Able Plumbing was impressive. The owner, Rob Tickle, came out on a Saturday to look at our current installation and to prepare an estimate for the work we wanteddone -- replace 40-gallon HW heater with a 50-gallon unit and replace all 4 toilets in our hosue with ADA height units. After we finished our due diligence, Able's price was competitive but it was Rob himself who tipped the scales in Able's favor -- he impressed us with his willingness to explain and provide information and desire to make sure he knew what we wanted and we knew what it would entail. The day of the instalaltion a team of three, led by Rob, showed up, explained what they were going to do and what order they were going to do it in and proceeded to get to work. All told it took about 5 hours from start to finish and when they left the only evidence they'd been there at all was a new HW heater and 4 new toilets. One of the things Rob told us when he came out to prepare an estimate was that he not only wanted us to select Able for this work, but for any future plumbing work we might need or want. He succeeded -- Able is who we will call for any future plumbing ... planned or otherwise.

They were able to come out just hours after I called, which was wonderful. The job was done efficiently and professionally. The price was very reasonable. I would recommend this company to others.

The plumber came out and provided an estimate for the repair. He gave a guaranteed estimate. He advised us what we needed to do to get the water shut off and water turned on again for the job.

had to work with very old pipes using care when needing to turn off the water and the lever was very difficult to turn. Gave good advice and took care to double check that all worked well.

Replaced faucet. Rate was a fixed cost rather than cost per hour. |Replacement went very well. Would use Able plumbing in the future. Just check the price for fixed costs replacements rather than the charge per hour.

We live in a condo and got a call from our downstairs neighbor that something was leaking into her unit. I hurriedly called a number of plumbers including our regular plumber and none of them were available for same-day service (especially during the snowy conditions). Able Plumbing was available and came out within a few hours. The plumber was very professional and located the leak quickly. He cleaned up the mess and gave us good advice about drying out the area, etc. They also finished the work very quickly and the bill was much lower than what I was expecting. I want to say a huge "thank you" to them for helping us out in an emergency situation. We will definitely use them again!

We were having problems with the toilet running frequently and randomly, and also needed a new kitchen faucet installed. It was our first time using Able Plumbing, and we are so glad we did! Danelo (spelling?) was very friendly and professional. He found the issue with the toilet right away and had it fixed within minutes. He also installed the new kitchen faucet very quickly. The only issue we had was that the faucet loosened up after a few days, but Danelo and another gentleman stopped by and tightened the faucet right up and we have had no issues since then. Their friendly customer service, fair prices, and prompt attention will ensure that we use them for any plumbing needs in the future.

We had a pipe burst over Labor Day weekend. Able was here early, professional and knowledgeable. The repair was complete in 15 minutes!

They had to order a new one. They came and took care of it and did a good job. They came when they said they would.

Noticed our kitchen sink/faucet was leaking on Thanksgiving, called Able Plumbing the next day and came out same day. Operator and plumber were extremely nice and professional. The plumber located the leak and tightened the screw on the faucet head. Was our first service call, so we saved $20. Will definitely use them again in the future.

It went very well. The tecnician, Nelson, was very efficient, quick, and professional. The toilet flushes much better now.

I had phoned another plumber (the one with the guy waving from the back of the truck) and was given an appointment time two weeks later. I then phoned Able and they were able to send a great plumber out to me the next day. I had never used Able before. All my interactions, both the office people and with the plumber, were prompt, professional and just what you'd want. The work was done immediately and expertly. I definitely would use Able again.

Great responsiveness of office staff

The leak was found located in a bath shower combination that other plumbers had not been able to find. The leak was first noticed in an area where no water lines were located and there were no indications of water travelling along under flooring. Master plumber Tony and his teammate Danilo, quickly developed a plan to forensically analyze the situation. Where other plumbers wanted to tear our large amounts of dry wall , they used logic to identify a probable source of the leak and they were right. The leak was in a shower installation that apparently was done when the house was built in the 1980's. As we have a contract with a builder to upgrade that bathroom in several weeks, we chose to have only interim repairs made at this time. Had we chosen to replace the defective and damaged fittings now, I have no doubt that Able could have done them well. After their quick response and end to an agonizing search for the leak, I will call Able first for any plumbing needs.

They replaced a fill valve in the toilet and cleared a clogged sink. I was quoted a higher price (still fair and reasonable), but once work was started, they realized it could be resolved without having to snake the drain. They fixed the issue and saved us a lot of money. My bathroom was cleaner when they left than when they arrived - even taking the time to clean dirt that had previously built up in the clogged sink. Work was done very quickly and efficiently.

I'm a repeat customer of Able Plumbing. They've always done a good job and this time was no exception. I'd overloaded my garbage disposal and ended up with a clogged pipe. Food was backing up into my laundry room sink. They snaked out the pipe and cleared the clog and now the laundry tub is draining even better than it was before. Able's employees are always very friendly and professional. They take the time to explain everything that they're doing and give you tips and information on things that you can do to prevent future issues. I've used them 3 times in the past 5 or so years, and will continue to call them for all of my plumbing needs.

They did an excellent job. Called before they came to confirm that the time still worked and arrived right on time. The technician was very courteous, knowledgeable and I got the feeling that he was trying to do his best to not add a lot of extra cost. So he looked for solutions that weren't going to cost that much more. They finished quickly, did the work that was promised, and even made a couple minor fixes that weren't planned. Cleaned up nicely and would definitely use them again.

Able Plumbing repaired a water leak in the basement bathroom ceiling. I called them and they sent a plumber over. He cut through the ceiling drywall and replaced the pipe and sealed it up. Then cleaned up and left. They did a great job! This is the third time I have used Able Plumbing and each time they have done a great job! I have used them to replace the valves with ball valves and have had them repair a leaky valve. Would highly recommend them to anyone!

Plumber was really great and easy to work with. I liked him alot. The lady on the phone was also very nice. Unfortunately, there was a miscommunication on the pricing structure during the phone call. I understood the rates to be hourly, but it turned out they were for every half hour. I had a competitor price that was per job, that would have been more cost effective and with similar quality of service. I had shopped around and thought this was a better price - it was more (but not hugely more) They would not have got the work based purely on saving some dollars as I have a lot of plumbing work to do and the other company is good too. This is unfortunate, as I really liked them and their work quality. I would use them again if the price was right for me, and I know to get clarity. The mistake could very well be on my part, although I was put on hold two times while they discussed pricing with other staff (the lady taking my call was new and needed to double check the information - which is fine, but it was confusing).

To begin, our basement drain backed up sewer and waste water and flooded our basement, it was a complete nightmare and mess. We submitted a request for service through our home warranty, the home warranty company, "One Republic" uses a plumbing contracter "Green Plumbing"....The first plumber came out and spent 5 minutes and said I don't have the tools to help. I was confused and a bit frustrated, and I had already taken the day off from work and this plumber said he couldn't do anything at the time and had to reschedule...he never called back even after I called the office multiple times, so I called Able Plumbing based on Angie's list reviews/ratings. When talking to customer service at Able and explained the problem, they had an actual plumbler, Nelson promptly call me back to confirm what was going on, and he said he could help. The service Tech. Nelson promptly arrived, within minutes had analyzed the problem and knew how to at least get into the pipes to see if he could fix it...He just needed to go get the parts for the cast iron pipes (sleeves/clamps) to complete the job. He left and said he would be back in a hour...He returned, as promised. Cut the stack and snaked the drain, sleeved and clamped the cut pipe section back in place. He was very professional, used a tarp and cleaned up everything from the mess created during the snaking of the pipes...snaking old pipes is not a pretty sight with what comes out. Problem was fixed, just a clog thankfully.

They were absolutely wonderful! The receptionist was so kind, and she was very spiritual. And Brian, he was a hoot! A great plumber, and a nice guy to talk to. We already have plans for him to come back! They said they would come at 12:00, and when I pulled in at 12:00, he was there waiting on me! He knew exactly what needed to be done, and he fixed that right away. We would definitely use him again, and recommend him to others. It was such a great experience! I put their magnet on our fridge, and I don't put many magnets on the fridge, so that's a huge compliment.

From the minute the phone was answered by Valerie until the work was completed, I was impressed with Able Plumbing. Valerie was able to send a plumber out right away, which made me very happy! The work was completed in under 30 minutes and Nelson was a pleasure to work with. I couldn't recommend them more highly!

I made an appointment two days in advance via email with the staff to have our sump pump changed out with a pump we already have. I was given a window of 8am-12pm, and I took off work to be there. At 11:50 I emailed the staff to confirm a plumber was coming but got no reply. I phoned them at 12:15 and was advised I wasn't on the books. I asked to speak to the lady who had confirmed my reservation who in turn begrudgingly apologized and offered to have someone come out the same afternoon. I told her that if there were going to be some sort of discount due to her blunder that I would consider it. She emailed me stating that she could get someone out within an hour and a half, but could I please give her our address as that must have been why she didn't put me in the books. I forwarded her the message wherein I had given it to her. Two hours later, still no plumber. Absolutely ghastly way to run a business. Cost me a full days pay and our pump is now an emergent situation. DO NOT BOTHER.

They showed up on time as scheduled. Polite and professional. They did a good job with the drain pipe and I'm happy with it. It looks better and doesn't leak. The only thing that bothered me about the job was that they took their sweet time. It was obvious to me that they were trying to stretch out the time required to do the job so that they could charge more. I lost track of how many times they had to "go back out to the truck to get something" and how long it took them to find what they were looking for in the truck. The workmanship and skill of the personnel who showed up is top notch. Just not real happy with what struck me as stalling tactics.
