I used Able Plumbing a few years ago for a small repair of a leaking water pipe, based on good Angie's list reviews, and they were great. So I contacted Able Plumbing again in late June when it became evident that my old (16 years) gas water heater needed to retire--not an emergency, but it was beginning to show its age. Able Plumbing came out, took a look, provided an estimate for replacement, and an appointment was scheduled for the first day I was available (two days after the estimate), between 10AM and 2PM. The company called 1/2 hour before the plumbers arrived to let me know they were on the way and about how long it would take to arrive---very helpful. The job was done quickly, with minimal disruption, and complete cleanup afterwards, and no surprises with the final cost. An additional fine touch was the mentoring the senior plumber provided to the junior plumber. An altogether positive experience.

Everything went well. They responded quickly following my request, and scheduled a visit based on my availability. They called prior to arrival, arrived on time. They wore removable booties to protect my floors and used a drop cloth in the work area. Before starting work, they verified with me exactly what the job was and reviewed the cost of the service with me. Upon my agreement to the terms, they retrieved their gear from the truck. They snaked the drain and tested the results. They re-assembled the drain pipes checking all joints for leakage and asked me to keep an eye for any leakage over the next few days, just to make sure. They accepted the Angie's List coupon I provided and adjusted the bill. They accepted Visa for payment. Whole operation from their arrival at the house to departure was probably not more than 1/2 hour.

Plumber arrived on time and fixed leaking seal promptly.

Nothing like water dripping from an old inlet line to get your attention! Our 34 year old (lived way beyond its normal lifespan) water pressure regulator valve began leaking overnight. I chose Able Plumbing based on other reviews since they are located near my home. I called the moment they opened at 7AM and they had someone to my home before 10AM. Rob was polite, informative and highly professional. He explained the repair process and the price before hand. He was more than happy to have me watch him perform the repair and it was a great learning experience. His workmanship was exceptional. He executed the repair and cleaned the area within 30 minutes. Plumbing work is expensive, there is no easy way around it. But I felt we got great value and service for the price and I would use Able Plumbing again with no hesitation.

We were preparing to put our house on the market and contacted Able after searching for a plumber on Angie's List. They responded right away and came out to give us an estimate on replacing our hot water heater and running a new gas line for a stove. We contacted them again later and scheduled them to come out to replace the water heater. Very professional and they explained some of the new requirements for these that have since been implemented, like the pan and overflow. We'd definitely use them again as they know their stuff!

Over two visits to replace tub drain and tub/shower parts.

Bryan is the expert. Quick, fair and willing to answer any questions I had as well as made some good recommendations for the drywall repair! BRYAN is my plumber. So thankful to have had him be the one to handle our plumbing problem. He gets A+++++ rating and many future referrals from me!

They're very good. I was very happy with them. Brian, I believe is his name, is very professional, prompt and you can tell he knew what he was doing. I had a couple of difficult jobs and I require someone with some experience and clearly he had experience so he was just very good. The service and their callback was very good.

This was a big job that took a good part of the day. Kevin and Bryan were terrific. They were friendly, clean, and methodical. No time was wasted. Everything works well and I am very pleased with the result.

In and out in 45 minutes, came previously 11 days before; to do service on two toilets . Service person gave me a $50. Discount as he had come before for same toilet. I appreciated that.

Able called me the morning of June 2 and asked if they could return that day because they had found a solution. They had indeed. They had a grate just larger than the trap, quick-set cement to attach it to the foundation, and the grate was attached to a set with screws so that it could be removed. They spent almost 2 hours installing it and it was the perfect solution. My only problem is that they moved my washing machine to have better access to the trap, and then forgot to move it back, and it is too heavy for me to move. It was an hour's travel time from their premises to mine, for which they did not charge on either visit, so I was reluctant to call them back just for that.

The plumbers came on time, and were very professional. They brought their own show cover. They finished the job within the estimated time frame, without any issues. We would definitely use their service again.

They're very quick to respond, the pricing is consistent to their pricing and they have a good customer service.

We had terrible banging in our pipes. Able came in and quickly diagnosed that our shut off valve needed to be replaced. They did the job quickly and were very professionally. Solved the banging problem!

Able Plumbing was one gigantic time suck. I waited the whole day for them and they call at the very end of their time frame, just to tell me that they won't be able to make it until 5:30 PM or later in the evening. I wouldn't waste your time.

Danilo showed up on time and fixed the problem right away. He was very professional, respectful and honest. The price seemed to be reasonable. I'm definitely calling Danilo again in the future for any plumbing related issues.

I called Able plumbing from my neighbor's referral. The lady that answered the phone was very nice and was able to get me in today. Danilo the plumber who came was a very polite, informative, and helpful person. He did a great job replacing the sump pump. The price he quoted me at the start of the job was about $30 less but he apologized and said prices just went up but they are giving me a 90 day warranty instead of their 30 days.

The plumber was kind as all criminals are when they are trying to swindle you! Their ad on Angie's list clear states free estimates! Tried to charge me $180 for coming out to look for 5 minutes. He said it was because it's a Sunday. I had made an appointment over 2 weeks ago. I forgot about an engagement and was offered a Sunday opening. NO ONE MENTIONED a premium to come out. I waited about 2 weeks, obviously this is not an emergency. Of course he came in with no equipment. When i talked him down to $97 and even showed him on the website where it says free estimate the plumber came up with some story about free estimates are only on big jobs not little ones. It does not state that anywhere! The free estimate would apply only if I needed new pipes etc! How would I know what I need with out an estimate. It is not safe to argue with criminals when it's one on one. I just paid him to get him out of my place. I am surprised he did not argue the $20 coupon. I am out $77 which I plan to call the office to get back! WHAT A CON JOB! I thought paying for Angie's List would alleviate these type of slimy swindles!

He was very good and he explained what was going on all the time. He showed up on time and did everything that he said he would do.

This is the second time we've used Able Plumbing. The first time was a year or two ago, when we needed to have our bathtub plumbing replaced. Our contractor's name was Danilo - he was great, very courteous, and got the job done quickly and for a good price (compared with competitors that gave us quotes). More recently, we needed one big job and a couple small jobs done to fix up our condo to sell. The big job was fixing our outside hose bib (we didn't know what was wrong with it, it just stopped working). One contractor came out (not Danilo), told me it would cost about $250 to fix. He then ripped everything apart only to say that it was something else that needed to be done, which would require him to order a part and have another person come out, and would cost $500. Needless to say, I wasn't happy, so I called the office to see if Danilo could come and give me a second opinion. They were incredibly accommodating, and although Danilo wasn't available (I guess he's popular!), they sent the service manager, Rob, out to take a look the very next day. He then fixed the hose bib AND all the other jobs for $361. Overall, we have been very happy with Able, and will continue to use them - but we'll be sure to request Danilo or Rob!

I would use them again in the future.

Was changing out the washing machine and unable to get the water turned off because the stem valves were corroded. I had to cut the main water to the house until I could get this fixed. This is a vacant house and needed to wait to install the washer until other work was completed. I Have used this company in the past at other homes and have always been happy with their work. I checked Angie's list for their phone number and saw they are open on Sundays. I called to make an appointment for later in the week, because I never thought I would get an appointment the same day....the office person advised someone was available within an hour and was in my area. They called back a few minutes later and advised the plumber finished the other job earlier and was on his way. I was about 15 minutes away and got to the house the same time as the plumber. Danilo was the plumber that arrived, he quickly assessed the problem and did the job in less than an hour. Which was great because I had to get somewhere before 5pm and was racing against the clock. Danilo was professional and friendly. He completed the work and then showed me what he had done and that there were no leaks. I am thrilled I was able to get this taken care of immediately. Now I don't have to take time off from work. He cleaned up when he was finished, leaving the area the way he found it. I was very satisfied with the price. I will continue to use Able Plumbing in the future.

Danilo showed up on time and was professional and friendly. I showed him the sump pump problem and a hose bib problem. It turned out the hose bib did not have a problem; it was just loose. So, he tightened it. I appreciated his honesty. He could have easily charged me for it and I would not know any different. Then he tackled the sump pump exit pipe problem. Not only did he make the repair, but he went above and beyond, cleaning out the whole sump pump and stairwell around it. Then he tested it just to be sure it still worked. I will definitely hire Able Plumbing again.

Able Saved my basement!! I called their office about 10am and spoke with the lovely Valerie. She understood the urgent situation and sent out Danilo right away! He showed up at 11am (Only an hour wait!) and showed us that our ejection pump was clogged. He took the time to show me how to prevent the problem in the future. It was a simple! I then asked him about a slow leak on a copper joint we had and inquired if he could take care of it on the spot. He said sure! And within 20 minuets had it cut out and replaced! Thank you Able Plumbing for getting here quickly, being super professional, and taking the time to care! Awesome service! 100% satisfaction! Would hire again and recommend to everyone!
