Henry was fast and efficient. He was very polite and professional. It was our first time using Able plumbing and we received a discount. The job was completed but I asked Henry to listen to a knocking sound we hear after flushing any toilet in the house. He investigated, and said it could be the pressure valve on the water line. He looked and suggested that we call Fairfax Water first and have them check the inside meter before we spent over $400 to replace the valve. Fairfax came and found that the meter was faulty and replaced it at no charge (it’s their meter). The knocking has stopped and we have Henry to thank for being honest and saving us $400. I will call Able plumbing if I need plumbing service in the future. Thank you Henry and Able plumbing for our 5% Sr. discount!

I used Angie’s List to research local plumbers. I chose Able based on their excellent reviews. We called at 9 a.m. and they were quick to respond. We received an estimate by phone and they arrived by 10:30. The team was great! Friendly, clean, and very professional. Work was completed within an hour.

We were very satisfied with the work performed by Able Plumbing. This afternoon, around 1:30, I discovered our hot water heater was leaking water. I called Able Plumbing at 1:35 and spoke with a pleasant woman. I explained my problem and she told me she would get a technician out to the house by 5:00 and she would call me when the technician was on the way. She was very up front with the costs that I might incur, be it for a fix to the existing water heater or a replacement. Around 1:50, I received a call from her telling me that the technicians were on the way. The techs, Nelson and Alvin, showed up within the next 30 minutes. They evaluated the issue, explained my options and their recommendations. We decided to replace the water heater. They had the water heater and were prepared to start the work right away. We had a couple of small quirks, given the age of the house and layout of where the water heater is installed, and the techs fully explained the issues as a result of the quirks and what they proposed to do. They gave me the option to agree to their proposal before they started the work. By 4:15, the new water heater was installed. We had to wait a while for the CPVC cement to set and dry. And by 5:00, we had paid, shaken hands and the Able Plumbing techs were gone. The price we paid was the price we were initially quoted when we first called Able. Nelson and Alvin were very professional and careful in our home. They cleaned up everything, as much as possible. This is the second time we have used Able and our son has used Able, based on our recommendation, on the house he just purchased in Annandale. We are both extremely pleased with dealings with Able and will continue to call them first with any and all of our plumbing issues. They are straight-shooters, professional and highly competent.

It went well. On short notice after we discovered our old water heater was leaking, Able Plumbing came through with a new one the following day. The worker did a neat installation, cleaned up after himself, and took a lot of time to show us everything and explain what we needed to know.

The plumber was called on a Sunday. They scheduled us for the next afternoon. He arrived on time and replaced an old toilet, water line and valve. He was fast, curteous and professional. And we now have a very nice, low-flow but high pressure toilet with a snap-on, easy clean seat, plus a simple modern valve and water line.

The job was done promptly and exactly as quoted.

Gave me an honest price from Rob right away. Rob explained everything that was needed and quoted the entire job. We had several other estimates that were about $250 cheaper at first. Other estimates had left out many required hidden costs like expansion tank and water heater pan which were required. As I questioned other companies about these costs they would not have told me until onsite, their estimates all met or surpassed what Rob at Able plumbing told me in the first place. We gave the job to the guy that was honest up front and couldn't be happier. They showed up on time and completed the job quickly. We would definitely hire them again.

They are my go to plumber. They always do great work. If I have a leak, they will come out and repair the leak. I would definitely use them again. I thought the quality was very good. It took them a normal amount of time; it wan't excessive. My interactions with them were good. I have used them for a few years now.

Outstanding! Danilo is excellent - he and his assistant, Allen, both did an outstanding, professional job from start to finish. They arrived as scheduled and started right away - they worked very systematically, so all as very neat and organized with a minimal disruption to the house activities. They are both very pleasant, interpersonal and a credit to Able Plumbing. Also, as I was able to do a lot of the work before they arrived with getting the old toilets drained and unbolted, so they worked with me on pricing. They should get the Super Service Award for this job.

They arrived on time and did the job well

They did a fine job, it was a very complicated job. One guy worked on it and was able to take care of it by himself. He even went the extra mile to snake a pipe for me by getting on top of my roof.

Utility sink work went well, but bathroom vanity plumbing wasn't done properly the first time, which led to leaks. Had to have a second technician come back the next day to fix the work.

Wow! Able Plumbing gets an A+. Danilo and Alan were prompt, efficient, expert, and professional. They knew exactly what to do, asked a few clarifying questions as needed. The job site was kept clean and they even removed the boxes! I would hire again and request them. Great job. BTW- scheduling was a breeze and they had a lot of schedule flexibility.

Rob came in and expertly snaked the drain. I had made quite a mess of things trying to dispose of rice and it took a couple hours to complete. He explained everything he did. He was very respectful, professional and courteous. He left the kitchen as clean as he found it. Will absolutely hire, again.

Well there was a mix-up with the first technician, who didn't show up when he said he would. But to his great credit, the manager, Rob, called immediately. He then came right over after the job he was working on and fixed the faucet. He was very apologetic and only charged me for parts, not labor. Very professional - this kind of customer service is hard to find these days.
