We had a leak in our basement that we narrowed down to our hot water line to the kitchen. We had no idea where it was since the water line in the ceiling takes a bend into area we can't accesse easily. We called Able plumbing and spoke with Valerie who set us right up with an appointment Bryan came within the hour and quickly installed the two cut off valves so that we could have water to the rest of the house. Finding the leak was tricky due to the tight area and the bend in the pipe. Bryan called Ron to give him a hand. Shortly after they found the leak -- a pin hole size opening caused by two pipe laid in too close to each other rubbing over time. Thanks to Byran and Ron for finding and fixing the leak! Guys did an excellent job and walked us through the fixes. Will call Able again for other plumbing work ! A+

Bryan quickly installed the cutoff valves and then worked to isolate the pin-hole leak in a tough part of our ceiling.

We are about to use them again to replace a toilet. We were happy with them. They were very prompt. They were very good and very pleasant. They were reasonably priced. The work was very good and we have had no problems. They left the area very neat.

I called to get a quote for repair and the woman answering the phone was terrible. She didn't answer my questions. Would not use.

They quickly identified the problem which was my hot water heater. They replaced the unit quickly and were very helpful in explaiing the type of unit, it's functions, settings, etc. They were very neat and removed the items from the area that they needed to work and then afterwards, replaced everything back in its place. Very friendly, professional and did a great job!

Able Plumbing did an excellent job! Rob, the manager is very knowledgeable, professional, and responsive. His team knocked out a lot of work in one day and did a fantastic job. Rob also stopped by to check on the job and to assist. When the work was finished, he walked me through all the work to ensure it was completed to my satisfaction. This is our second time using Able Plumbing. We were very pleased with their work, and will not hesitate to use them in the future.

Our old hot water heater's drain plug blew and blew water all over the utility room and basement - of course in the middle of the holidy period. Our regular plumber (private contractor) was out of town for the holidays so I did some quick research. Called my son and daughter-in-law to cancel a lunch date we had and my daughter-in-law told me she had used Able Plumbing several years ago and was pleased so I gave them a call. Called and spoke with Valerie and she was very friendly and helpful. She explained the pricing options and that they could get it done that same day. They even gave me a military discount. I gave them the go and she said they would call when they were on their way. The price was significantly more than what I paid 10 years ago for our water heater and install so I called around to see what I could get it done for by going the Home Depot/Lowe's route with a contract plumber since this kind of replacement is fairly standard. I found I could do it cheaper going that route so called Valerie and she gave the same military discount that these stores do. I was impresed with that and liked the customer service feel. Even though it was still higher than going the other way I don't mind paying a little more for good service from people I feel are trustworthy. Nelson and Mark came out and did a superb job. They recommended replacement of a couple key valves which were pretty old and showing their age. It cost another $200 to do this but they didn't pressure me at all. It seemed like the thing to do. After going over operations and suggested preventive maintenanceof our new heater, they spent some time with me looking at other potential issues I know I need in the future as the house is aging. They were very knowledgeable, cordial, friendly and helpful. I was extremely pleased. Prompt, friendly, professional service coupled with a fair price will work every time and will help these folks rise above the confusing competition out there in the plumbing world. I'll use these folks again!

They snaked two toilets. These guys were great. A little more expensive, but you get what you pay for... These guys were prompt, quick, and only provided the services required. I had asked about some plumbing I thought was suspect, and rather than prey on my lack of experience, they gave me the information I needed to understand that I didn't need their services for that job. I have already asked them for an estimate on future work and plan to use them for my plumbing needs.

They were able to fix the leak. They did not weld because water was still flowing due to an old valve elsewhere. They told us at the beginning if they cut through the wall, they do not do the wall repair. We were fine with that in order to get the leak fixed. Overall, very professional and would use them again.

The installer (Bryan C.) worked with me on a good arrival time (slight mix-up on my part - I thought he was arriving later, but he was able to make it earlier). He was very professional and really knew what he was doing. I had some parts, which he was able to use and he made suggestions on what should be replaced to avoid problems in the future with the non-working toilet. I had a lot of work for him to do and he very efficiently evaluated all the jobs to determine what needed to be done and how to best get everything done in one visit. He worked quickly and was very personable. I enjoyed watching him do his job and learned quite a bit.

I called on December 22nd and they were ready to have somebody at the house the next day. I asked if they had an opening on 12/26 and they gave me my choice of morning or afternoon. They even offered to come on Saturday at no extra cost. I opted for Friday 12/26 in the afternoon. The technician arrived at 11:45, performed the work as requested, and he was done in less than an hour. He let me watch and he cleaned up after himself. He did a great job, at the quoted price, on time. What more could I ask for. I love it, I found a plumber. I have more work to be done and I'll call them back in a few weeks and get all the work done. Thanks Able Plumbing.

excellent work. 2-man team was efficient, polite, and explained each repair before proceeding. gave us advice on best place to purchase faucets without trying to sale to us. this is the second time we have used Able Plumbing and we will call on them in the future.

It went well. There were a few snags but the crew stayed late on a Friday night until everything was completed correctly.

The service men showed up on time and were very professional. They explained everything they were doing and why. They explained how to use the valves they installed. Very thorough, very professional. The person who answers the phone was also very pleasant to work with. She called and would let me know when they were on the way. There was no guessing...everything was upfront and explained. I would definitely hire Able plumbing again. I HIGHLY recommend them.

I discovered the dripping faucet on Saturday morning. I couldn't even turn the valves off under the sink. I searched on Angie's List of a 24-hour plumber. Found that Abel had Saturday hours. When I called, the receptionist said that they were booked solid, but would fit me in....she told me the name of the technician that would be coming also. He arrived within a half-hour, and was able to repair the faucet. very quickly (within 30 minutes). I was grateful to find someone local, who also had Saturday hours.

These guys were great, from start to finish! I found a leak in my disposal at the end of the work day. I emailed this company through Angie's List, and they responded first thing the next work day. They gave me a work window of 10-2PM same day. My only MINOR quibble was that they arrived about 35 minutes past that window, but they did call to say that they were lost and needed directions. No problem with that... They came in, answered my questions about preventing this kind of leak in the future (what foods NOT to run through the disposal, which chemicals to avoid, etc.), and quickly replaced the disposal. I could not have been happier!

The great quality of this company is evident from the first contact you have with the scheduling staff. Friendly and efficient, they were able to schedule me for a 9a appointment after I called them at 7:45a. Bryan and Henry came to do the installation and they were friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They worked quickly and I had confidence from the first moment that they knew exactly what they were doing. I couldn't have had a better experience. While they were here I also asked their opinion on some calcium deposits forming on the connections of our 11 year old water heater. So they took a look at that and gave me some thoughts about what to look out for and when to consider getting a new water heater. And they gave me some practical advice about what to consider when we get one. Really great company and really terrific employees.

I called them around 1230pm and they were at my door before 130pm and out the door before 230 pm. I was also able to get a discount for being a first time customer. Would definitely recommend them again

It started with Valerie (Sunday Receptionist) who was sweet and polite and she "squeezed me in" because I had no water in the kitchen and family in from out of town. They showed up Monday (early for the appointment) were VERY friendly and professional explaining everything. They were also extremely neat considering it was a plumbing problem. The price was great I had expected to pay so much more. They gave me advice on how to prevent the problem from happening again. Most importantly they liked my Dogs. I have very friendly bull dogs and the workers were very nice to them and didn't ask me to put away. Note my dogs don't bark or bite. They even talked to my bird. I now have their magnet on my Frig and they will be the first I call for anything

Normally snaking a slow drain is something I'd do myself (or ask a friend to do). However, this was a new-to-me home and I had no idea what would be down there! From the minute I called to inquire until the serviceman left, ABLE was a great company to deal with. The office staff were easy and handled the scheduling in a 3 minute phone call. The confirmation calls were made as they were supposed to be and the serviceman arrived right on time. He was in and out in 20 minutes for the charge quoted (when she heard I found them on AL, the scheduler even told me to print the coupon on AL for $20 off)). the serviceman was neat and professional and even helped with two other issues. One can be fixed by us and one we will be calling ABLE to come back and do. Thank you for making this a painless process!

Made service call just before noon. Brian and Henri arrived about 2 pm---they even called to let us know they were on the way. Brian quickly diagnosed the problem and installed a rebuild kit using genunie Delta parts. The faucet now works great and they even gave me a $20 discount for being an Angie's List customer. This is the third time we've used Able Plumbing---with a super experience each time. We highly recommend this company!!!

Able Plumbing was outstanding! Everything from setting up the appointment through Valerie to the end result which was performed by Rob, was first class. Not only did Rob complete all tasks to my satisfaction and to the satisfaction of the tenants, he also went above the scope to help resolve a water pressure issue, which helped tremendously. We contacted four plumbing companies on Columbus Day (10/13/14), because our water heater started leaking. The water heater was 14 years old and we knew it needed to be replaced. Of the four, Able Plumbing seemed the most knowledgeable and friendly over the phone. We spoke with Valerie, who quickly gave a quote over the phone and explained exactly what services were included in their quoted price. The quote was approximately $1,400 and included all parts, a new water heater, installation and the removal of the old water heater. We had a 50 gallon water heater, which used natural gas to heat the water. We replaced the water heater with the same size and type. Hearing that our current water heater was leaking, Valerie worked to squeeze us in the schedule the same day. When their plumbers got tied up on another job, their supervisor (and I believe owner) Rob personally came to our house and installed the water heater. Rob arrived within a couple hours of our initial call to the company. Rob was incredibly professional and did an outstanding job installing our new water heater. When he was done, Rob explained how the new water heater operated and provided advice on maintaining it. We chose Able based on their professionalism over the phone, their quick and fair quote and their ability to replace our water heater quickly. While the other three companies seemed knowledgeable over the phone, two would not give us quotes over the phone (said they had to send out an estimator) and the other said their price could change once they arrived and assessed the situation. All three estimated their prices would be between $1,200 and $,1,500.

The plumber arrived very quickly, was very professional and thorough, explained the situations well and did a terrific job at a very reasonable price. I definitely would use this firm again.
