We noticed our hot water heater was leaking on a Sunday morning. We knew we wanted to replace it because it was nearly 20 years old and we didn't want to take any chances on having water issues down the road. We called Able and they had somebody out that afternoon to replace it. We made a few calls to compare prices but the quote Able gave us was right on target and most other places weren't going to be able to provide same-day service on a Sunday. The tech arrived a bit later than expected because his previous job ran long but the woman at the office was very helpful in updating us. When he arrived, he worked quickly and efficiently. Very pleased with the service and would definitely use this company again.

Water was coming up through basement drain. He first checked to be sure it was not just that drain, but the main sewer line. Took about an hour end to end. He had to remove basement toilet to do the service. Blockage cleared. Toilet reinstalled with a new wax ring, and he caulked around it as well. Very clean and professional service. Val, who took my initial call got me scheduled quickly, and called the day of service to say the tech was on the way, and where he was coming from so I knew ETA.

We had water leaking/spraying near the main water shutoff valve and into the basement. It was bad enough that we had to shutoff all the water to the house. So we needed someone to come out as soon as possible. Able Plumbing was able to give us a window of time that was compatible with our busy Saturday. Based on where the leak was, Henrri could immediately see that it was the PRV (pressure reducing valve) that need to be replaced. He said that $428 was standard; but that he would do it for $400. We both also noticed that there was a lot of rust at the site of the shutoff valve itself. Henrri suggested that it might need to be replaced at some point in the future. I asked how much that would cost; and he stated that he was already here, so he would replace it for just the cost of the valve ($48). Henrri was very professional, and thoroughly explained everything that he needed to do. He was here at 1:25 and was out by 3:15. It's hard for me to comment intelligently on the price, since I have no idea what would be typical for this type of job. However, the $448 was about what I expected to pay when I sought the services of a plumber. It seemed reasonable for nearly two hours of work and two valves. Perhaps more importantly, Henrri seemed very knowledgeable and trustworthy. I definitely intend to use them for any future plumbing problems.

They did a great job and discussed my options every step of the way. The job was a bit more difficult, because a dishwasher had to be removed to get at the piping for one of the spigots, and I new it was going to be a problem. They gave me a choice of reinstalling the dishwasher or saving the cost of reinstalling the dishwasher if I planned to get a new one. I would say they came in about 40% under what another company estimated it would cost to do it and they came in right on the price they estimated. I definitely recommend them and would use them again.

Able Plumbing was very responsive to our call. Fixed the issue and installed a better hose bib as well as anchoring itt to the outside brick wall. The previous one had been very loose and ill fitting. I would definitely use them again.

It went great. I was told another similar job (by a diferent company) took all day ... Danilo did the work in two hours. The finished product is beautiful. I have used Able several times before and am always very pleased with the quality of the work they do.

Able Plumbing came out to check the problem, diagnosed the issue quickly, and provided excellent quotes. Work started two days later and was completed earlier than originally expected with minimal damage to our lawn, which had to be dug up to reach the pipes. We were very pleased with the whole experience.

The plumber, Danilo, was honest, courteous and skillful. Valery, in the front office, was friendly and professional.

I have had Able Plumbing do a number of plumbing jobs for me since moving into my home several years ago. Up until the last experience, I have been completely satisfied, but this last one has caused me to consider whether to find another plumber for my next job. Two years ago, Able Plumbing replaced one of my outdoor water faucets. I had a problem with that faucet within several weeks and Able Plumbing had to return to fix water that was spraying from the faucet when I turned it on. After that, it seemed to work well, but sometime in the past few years, the faucet appeared to develop a leak - there was almost always a bead of water ready to fall from the faucet, even when it had been shut off for multiple days. This problem actually started within the first year the faucet had been installed, but I held off calling for a plumbing visit until just this week. That is certainly on me for waiting to call them back. Bryan and Henri came this week and were apologetic for the problems I had had with this faucet. Bryan had come the second time to address the spraying from the faucet and remembered his visit. Both Bryan and Henri were incredibly professional and easy to talk with. At first, Bryan suggested they would replace it free of charge, but I said, I knew this was outside of the warranty, and I wasn't expecting free work, but if there was some sort of discount they could provide, I would certainly be appreciative of that. Bryan indicated he would definitely be able to do that. They installed the new faucet and, as usual, they appear to have done a great job. Bryan came in afterwards and the invoice was for $258. I didn't say anything and I paid it. I'm not usually one to negotiate on the spot. And, perhaps, that is a completely fair price, but, to be honest, it did not seem like that much of a discount. Had it been $100 less, that would have seemed like an appropriate discount to me. Even $50 less would have probably kept me pretty happy. But, $258 seems to be about what I paid to have the faucet replaced the first time around. So, in less than 2 years, I have had to spend close to $600 on this single outdoor faucet. Now, I don't really fault Able Plumbing for their work - this was obviously a failure of the faucet, not of the work they did. But, I guess, this just doesn't seem to be the best way to keep a customer. Maybe I have unrealistic expectations. I know plumbers don't work for free nor do I expect them to. And, I know 2 years is well outside a warranty period on something like this. Like I said, I wasn't expecting free work. Honestly, if I hadn't been told they were going to give me a discount price and had simply said, unfortunately, our policy on something like this is that, because it's outside of the warranty, there's just nothing we can do other than replace it for you again, I probably would have been ok with that to. I have another outdoor faucet that needs to be replaced. The access hole wasn't big enough when Able Plumbing visited to do the job. I had my handyman out to make the door bigger so a plumber can access it just the next day following this job. I have struggled with whether to call Able Plumbing to do the job or to have someone else do it. On one hand, I like the guys at Able Plumbing - professional, easy to schedule, do quality plumbing work. But, I finally broke down and decided to call someone else because of this experience. I can't say I won't call Able Plumbing in the future. My other experiences with them have been great. But this one, has just not been quite as good. I am trying to be fair in my assessment here. Hopefully, it is helpful to others.

My family had issues with the water heater this week while I was gone, I conducted trouble shooting on the water heater with the owners manual and called Able Plumbing to come and look at the water heater. Henry and Dino were professional in their approach to the problem. They were appreciative that I still had the owners manual and the troubleshooting codes for the water heater. I was glad to have two professionals look at the system, as I do not do electricity and gas issues. They could not find anything wrong with the water heater, and told me what to look out for in the future. They said that my trouble shooting steps seemed to correct the issue. They spent 10 minutes with the system, and when I offered to pay, they said no charge. They really didn't do anything. They had an opportunity to charge for the service visit, and they didn't. That in itself has created a loyal customer in me for any future plumbing needs.

Repairmen were courteous and professional. There was a cancellation so their office called and asked if they could arrive early. Upon arrival and inspection, they discovered not one but two separate leaks which they pointed out to me. After replacing both supply lines and trap, leaks were gone. They tested the sink and cleaned up the area. I will keep them in mind for any future repairs and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Technician arrived on time and with all tools/materials necessary to replace my sump pump. The job took about an hour and the install was done very professionally.

l guess Rob has been promoted and they would've sent a different plumber, so I may as well go with a different company. If they 'd offered me a more sincere sounding apology, a more concise reschedule option, or a discount I may've rescheduled but they did not. I find it curious that the reviews on Angie's are mostly excellent but the reviews elsewhere on-line are mostly poor.

Came out same day we called on a Sunday - stayed late to get the job done correctly. NOTE: they found that our gas lines were loose (possibly due to earthquake several years ago) that had gone unnoticed and were very dangerous. They fixed the lines retightening everything and making sure everything was safe. No charge for this important step.

This is the 3rd or 4th time we have used this company. They are a great company. They are very responsive, professional, and reasonably priced. They are open 7 days a week and we have been able to get service very fast, even same day when needed (not as emergency service). They always keep me apprised of when they will arrive, and their personnel are very friendly, professional, knowledgable, and helpful. I have used other plumbers in the past, and this is by far the best company I have ever dealt with. They are the only one I will call now when I need a plumbing services.

They had a lot of reviews on Angie's list. When I called them, they were fairly responsive and it was a pretty small company. So I went with them and they also worked with us on the cost.

Able plumbing said someone would come out to give us an estimate on monday morning. They were kind enough to give us a 1 hour time window in consideration of my husbands very demanding work schedule. We CONFIRMED the address and PHONE NUMBER with them. Come monday morning, no show, no phone call. We called them to get a status update and they said they called and left a message to tell us they would be late. The number they said they called was conveniently 1 digit off. Really it just sounded like BS. We cancelled the estimate have gone with another company NOT from angies list since this is the 3 time we have had a negative experience with highly rated company from angies list. I will NEVER choice anyone from angieslist ever again.

2nd time we've used Able in remodel projects. Excellent experience, once again. Great communications before they arrived, top quality work. They take time to make sure they know what you want done and discuss any choices. Just top quality in every way.

Was a little nervous about what the "fix" would entail given basement (where the work was to be performed) had just undergone a total renovation (dry wall, carpeting, etc) in prep for being sold. From the moment I contact the representative on a Sunday - to the confirmation call Tuesday morning - through to the arrival of the two plumbers who performed the work - I was reassured all would go fine by the way in which my work order was handled. The two ladies I spoke to who handled scheduling were terrific. The two plumbers who showed up to perform the repairs were friendly, efficient, professional, and got both repairs completed without any unnecessary messes or water issues. They had NO problem what so ever putting on booties so that the new carpet would not be messed up by their going in and out of the basement to the truck. I was really impressed that they accommodated my request so easily and with such good spirit - Great guys! I definitely have plans to call this company again for a list of plumbing repairs I am making for my own residence.

I called first thing in the morning and talked to Val. She was a huge help. She was able to fit me in same day. Val called to let me know when the tech was on his way. Nelson arrived early and got right to work. He explained everything to me before he started and even gave me an estimated finish time. All in all everything went great. Nelson finished early and went over everything he did with me. Would definitely use them again

Able Plumbing is a fantastic company to work with! When I first contacted Able they were ready to send a plumber out that day to fix my problems. Due to my scheduling conflicts, they were happy to accommodate me on the following Sunday. The plumber (Rob) they sent to my house was exceptional. Rob fixed my problems without attempts to up sell, nor make repairs in a more costly manner than necessary. He obviously knows what he's doing and goes about it very effectively. The cost of the service was very good, and I believe lower than most others in this area. Valerie at the main office is amazing to work with and talk to. She schedules services, and she maintains contact to ensure everyone is on the same page. I received two phone calls Sunday morning letting me know when the plumber would arrive at my home. The plumber arrived exactly as scheduled. Able Plumbing is a small business with the personal touches for the customer that are appreciated. If you're a "big box store" type of person, you should really give Able Plumbing a try. They didn't turn a $10 problem into a $100 solution. The staff at Able were honest and genuinely cared about the customer, as well as fixing the problems. For me, I have found my plumber and will continue to use Able Plumbing at my home.

Able Plumbing did an excellent job fixing a difficult problem. In fact, other plumbers turned down the job or were going to charge a great deal more. The issue was that our clothes washer drained into a large sink in the laundry room, and the sink would sometimes overflow causing damage to the laundry room floor and to the basement ceiling, lights, rugs and electronics. Initially, Rob came to my home to analyze the problem and to find the best solution. After consulting his partner, he explained their analysis of the problem and their solution. There were many delays due to my schedule, but Rob remembered the issues and scheduled the work to be done at my convenience The two workers were prompt, polite and knowledgeable. They worked efficiently and cleaned the work areas following. The washer is draining properly, and we believe the problem is fixed!

Valerie answered the phone on my initial call for help and was very professional and responsive to the urgency to get service the same day. The team (Henry and George) were on site within a couple of hours.They were very professional and apologetic that they had to cut through the basement walls to find the problem and source of the leak/problem. The full cause was not determined until the next morning after the septic tank was drained (by a different vendor). They snaked out the pipes in the house and resolved the issue. I rated cost as "B" because I was a bit surprised about the cost of snaking out the pipes which took 15 minutes. They did provide a quote prior to performing the work so it was not a surprise on final invoice. I just did not realize that service would be so expensive. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the service and professionalism from beginning to end.

After realizing that something was terribly wrong with my water heater, I placed a call to Valerie, who said that someone would be there in 30 minutes. What an unexpected delight! Bryan arrived very soon after and confirmed that I was going to need a new water heater. He was extremely professional in every stage of the task. He assisted with the many questions that I had. I was very pleased with every aspect of the experience. I would add that it is a relief to find a plumbing company that I can feel confident going to. Thanks Bryan and Valerie!
