Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for a plumbing service call and $100 repair credit. I had a slow drain so they cleaned that out and got it running. They also put in a brand new toilet.

Description of Work: They were unable to service my area but made sure to refer me another great provider and refund money.

Description of Work: Checked the circuit for power. Installed a GFI outlet. Explained possible overload problems. Described alternate solution and gave an estimate of the cost if the alternative became necessary. Very professional.

Description of Work: They replaced a washer in the front outside faucet. The faucet has been leaking for years.

Description of Work: I had 4 recess lights installed with a dimmer switch. All of the work was done to my exact specifications and the overall outcome is fantastic! I look forward to working with 4 Service Pros in the future.

Description of Work: I bought the Angie's List plumbing deal to fix a leak under the sink. The plumber spent all his time going around the house and pointing out all the stuff that needs to be replaced. Most of the things he pointed out were working fine. He also said a toilet needed to be replaced because it wasn't stable. My husband took it apart and it was totally fine. We just needed to tighten the bolts. So instead of fixing a leak, he gave us a list of 10+ items around the house that needed to be replaced, with a total estimated cost of over $3000. I'm sure I looked like an easy target. If my husband was home, I don't think that would've happened.

Description of Work: Excellent value for installing 4 recessed lights as $385 included parts and labor. Only improvement I'd recommend is filling in the the extra drywall holes created during installation.

Description of Work: The faucet in our main bathroom was leaking and Jeremy rebuilt the delta cold water faucet and also replaced the aerator in the faucet. I asked him to check a couple of other problems and he adjusted the handle in the master bedroom shower faucet. He was very cordial and explained step by step what the problems were and how he would proceed with repairs. He also gave me some very helpful advice on how to deal with clogged sinks and how to possibly remove stains from our tub. He was very pleasant and efficient and I appreciated his advice.

Description of Work: Replaced one outside garden hose faucet. Went just fine, came on time, got the job done, and got out in a hurry. Tracked some dirt through the house, not a big deal, talked on a personal phone call almost the whole time he was here, not a big deal, needed my help to hold part of the pipe and keep turning the water on and off at the main, not a big deal. The work was done and done fast, so I give a B grade overall, A for the work and C for the professionalism and courteousness.

Description of Work: I had purchased the $99 plumbing service coupon to replace one outdoor faucet and for a household plumbing evaluation. It felt like a "bait and switch" operation by the time I was finished. When the plumbers arrived they informed us that in order to replace the outside faucet they would have to make a hole in the dry wall to access the outside faucet at an additional charge of $75. This would have course involved a future expense for us to repair and repaint the wall once their work was complete. Instead they installed a new washer in that outdoor faucet when I didn't want the wall opened for a faucet replacement. While they were doing the plumbing evaluation my husband mentioned that we had just had a new washing machine installed. But the installer wouldn't use the brand new metal enforced water hoses with our new washing machine, he had to install his own equipment and all he had on his truck were the rubber hoses. My husband asked that while the plumbers were here could they switch out the new metal enforced water hoses for the rubber ones that had been installed with the washing machine. We were charged $65 for a less than 20 minute job to replace the hoses. I was not pleased that we had just spent $99 on Angie's list that had only bought us a new washer for the outside faucet instead of a replacement and been charged $65 dollars on top of that, which was far less complicated than replacing an outdoor faucet. When I voiced by displeasure to the plumbers about the cost of doing business with them that day, they told me that I should be HAPPY that they saved me $75, the cost of putting a hole in the wall to get to the faucet. This logic absolutely escapes me as well as the attitude they assumed when they said it. I was also presented with an estimate of for three plumbing items that they recommended be addressed totaling $1750. I do not plan on doing any further business with this company and as a result of this experience am considering cancelling my subscription to Angie's list. I feel ripped off and will not put myself in that position again.

Description of Work: Team of two, called ahead as requested, on time, pleasant. They did a plumbing inspection, made several recommendations on things I should or need to do, which was part of the package. However, some of the suggestions were quite significant, not necessarily required but "might be good to do as a precaution." To the tune of $2400. All I wanted was my outside hose bib replaced. They said they couldn't do it because there might be water in the line. Told them that faucet hasn't been on for years. They said they would honor my faucet replacement but they wanted to do the other work at the same time. I know what's required to replace the faucet. I know that they were trying increase their profit on a small job but they didn't do what I hired them for. I have some other projects ongoing that will require additional plumbing support. Don't think I'll ask them back. Still don't have my faucet completed. I'm going to contact another company. This is the 2nd time I've hired someone through Angie's list to complete this very simple job. The first company make up some bogus process to fix the faucet at 4x the original amount and hadn't even entered the house yet. I'm very dissatisfied with the plumbers I've encountered through Angie's List.

Description of Work: Bought the deal 399 but would need to upgrade in order to get warranty more than a year. Not sure it is a good deal after another $200 on top of original price.

Description of Work: Took advantage of Angie's List deal for hose bib replacement with complimentary plumbing check. Work was done quickly and professionally with great results. I appreciated the thorough, no-pressure inspection. They left an estimate for work uncovered by the inspection but never pressed to perform it during the visit. Highly recommend them.

Description of Work: Installed water line to refrigerator, just the line, the water cutoff was still there, for this, I paid the $49.00 Angie's price plus another 160m when he was here. Then, the Ice Maker still did not work, I was told to have him recheck, he slept thru the appointment, then was late the next day.
