Rusty's HVAC and Sheetmetal

Rusty completed work on a house just before I bought it. The house was a flip and therefore the HVAC system was revamped prior to placing the house for sale. Before purchasing I pulled permits from the county for work completed, saw that Rusty's HVAC was the contractor and looked him up on Angieslist. I was very concerned that he had an F but purchased the house anyway. After living in the house for 5 months I have come to realize that Rusty is a complete moron for the following reasons: 1) Ducts leaking tons of air and not properly sealed. In the basement on the main HVAC duct he foil taped up everything you can see, but upon further inspection did not foil tape any seam on the top of any ductwork not visible. 2) Left areas that are not visible to the naked eye (above ductwork, above dry wall, above walls) covered in debris from the install. 3) My neighbor has the same heat pump and a slightly larger house. His electric bill was approximately $50 less per month over the summer months. 4) Had the wrong size filter. He had an 18x18 versus a 20x20. 5) The upstairs master bedroom was boiling hot in the summer and now freezing as it has started to get cold. You cannot even feel air coming out of the vents in this room. 6) Found a flashlight in the ductwork. Yes, this moron left a flashlight in the ductwork along with an s load of debris. 7) Ran a vent to now where. This vent is open and not sealed in any way. Yes, after further investigation into this idiot's work, there is a vent that goes up to the main floor but no hole was ever cut. It is open and just blowing underneath of the main living space. This is the sloppiest excuse for a professional job of any kind I have ever seen. What a slapdick Rusty is and now I am paying $50 per month because of it. Not to mention around $5,000 in the spring to have someone come in and correct his mistakes. I would like to punch Rusty right in the face.

rusty rowe and his wife gave an estimate to install a complete HVAC system in our home. We paid him a $2200.00 at the end of July 2012, deposit for materials. Unfortunately, Mr. Rowe has now taken our money and ran. No materials were ever delivered and he has avoided us ever since. We have filed a DPOR complaint and have spoken with our local sheriff's office for the next steps to get Mr. Rowe off the streets where he will be unable to rip off anyone else. DON'T HIRE HIM FOR ANYTHING.
