+ -1 moreI located Mid-Atlantic on Angie's List and received a prompt and courteous reply to my inquiry. I sent photos of the work needed by email to help them provide an estimate for the work. The job was scheduled for a few days later. Joe turned up on time and got to work. I Joe is a real craftsman and a perfectionist. When he was done, you couldn't tell where any of the damage had been. He is courteous, knowledgeable and hard-working. He offered advice on an additional problem area that I hadn't mentioned in my original call or emails. When I saw the high quality of his work, I also asked him to polish my work island countertop, which had minor scratches from years of use. It looks like new.
Description of Work: The porcelain sink in my kitchen had a gouge in the side about the size of a half dollar. There were 3 problem areas on my Corian countertops: - a deep gouge near the faucet (caused by an amateur plumber) - a small crack near the gas stovetop - work island countertop was scratched. Joe worked hard and completely restored each of these areas like new.

Description of Work: Needed a resizing of my corian kitchen counter-top to accommodate a new cook top. The original cut-out was too small and the installers didn't have the skills needed. Found Mid-Atlantic through a google search and took my chances as the major counter-top companies in the DC area couldn't be bothered. Joe Finchum, the owner, took my frantic call on Monday night, worked me into his schedule for Tuesday, arrived at 10am and finished at 2pm. What was amazing was not only his skill as a craftman making precise cuts in 20 year old corian, but HE ALSO INSTALLED MY NEW GAS COOKTOP, saving me the time and money to get the big box store installers out again! Joe is a pro through and through and only does repairs of solid surface, marble and granite counter-tops. I would recommend him to anyone, without hesitation.

+ -1 moreJoe was prompt, polite and understanding. Hired to buff-out what appeared to be minor scratches, he found a crack in the Corian, which he fixed to like-new condition. His work was clean and his clean-up even better. We would recommend him at a moment's notice.
