+ 0 moreWOW! WOW! Mr. Trow does excellent work. We were extremely pleased with the end result. Mr. Trow and his sons pay attention to the details and do the job right. Sometimes that means it takes a little longer, but that was okay with us as he always explained to us what was happening and why. Mr. Trow's professionalism and his tradecraft are excellent. Everything about this experience was painless working with Mr. Trow.
Description of Work: Replace entire roof. Wood was sub-grade and completely replaced. All new roofing tiles. New Sun tunnels put in. New soffets put in place. Capping on all exposed wood.

+ 5 moreWe consider ourselves very lucky to have Jimmy working on our house. We've run into more damage than we expected when we started this project. Plus when we decided we wanted to add a small front porch, Jimmy designed one for us and gave us an estimate the next day. He has worked cheerfully through rainy days, delays caused by the power company, surprises that kept getting uncovered as the work progressed and changes that we've made. He's discussed any problems he's run into and advised us of any additional cost. He came highly recommended to us by a friend of ours who was familiar with work he had done, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone else. The work is not finished yet but I can't imagine anything coming up that would change our opinion.
Description of Work: Replaced rotten sill plate and sister band boards where needed on both ends of the house. On carport replaced rotten beam and rotten wood as needed, bolting where needed, insulated crawl space, added 1/4" insulation to exterior walls in preparation for new siding, removed 2 layers of old shingles, replaced lots of deteriorated wood on the roof, added 30lb felt paper and drip edge and replaced shingles with 30-year shingles, will replace 14 windows with replacement windows, and add new vinyl siding. He has also designed and built a new front porch roof (5' x 5'). Removed old gutters and downspouts and will replace with new and will add new gutter and downspout on back of carport. Will repair cinder block chimney as well.
