Nick and his crew were spectacular and beyond my expectations. The quote was by far the most reasonable I received, to the point where I thought the price was too good to be true. The 2-man crew showed up exactly on time and completed the move within 2 hours. They were transparent, professional, and truly seemed to care about what they were doing. Best of all, they seemed conscious of the fact that I was being charged by the hour, and didn't waste any time. The only critique I would make is to leave a voicemail greeting at the company's main telephone line. Calling the office doesn't seem to lead anywhere, which admittedly made me a little panicked near move time when I couldn't get in touch. Nevertheless, I have only the most positive things to say about Best Movers LLC and would certainly hire them again.

It went very well. The movers were very professional, hard-working and honest. When we requested bubble wrap for a few pieces of furniture, they told us how much wrapping each item would cost (above what we had planned, which was wrapping furniture in blankets just for the move). It was so reasonable, we also asked them to wrap some glass shelves from curio cabinets. They did so, much faster than we ever could have, and the cost was minimal. I highly recommend Best Movers!

Best Movers was great! I had an Angie's special with 2 movers and truck for 4 hours. From setting up the appointment to the final item put in place I couldn't have been more pleased. There was a problem with the truck first thing in the morning, but I was called well in advance to let me know they'd be 30 minutes late. 30 minutes after the scheduled time they were there. The 2 movers were courteous and efficient getting the furniture out of storage and into the apartment. Best of all, one of them knew how to put together a rope bed -- not an easy task! He was a lifesaver. And they were done in less than 4 hours.

Ok guaranteed the price and the price changed at the end of the job.

Smooth, easy move with no surprises. Very professional and very efficient - so efficient that I didn't use the 2-hour minimum, and well worth it.

I called before purchasing the deal and was told the date and time would work in their schedule. During the call, I went over all of my furniture and boxes. After purchasing, there was no follow-up call or outreach. I had to call the day before to confirm that they were still coming. Whoever answered the phone wasn't familiar with the booking and took some time to look for it. I was very disappointed by my experience. Larry and Andre took more than four hours (the time limit of the deal) to move my one bedroom apartment out of the building and get on the road. It took an additional two hours to complete the move. At times, they disappeared for as much as 20-30 minutes. While there was another move occurring at the same time, that did not explain the slow pace. Whenever I went down to the elevator, I was always able to secure it in short order. What's more, they charged me $30 for a "stair" fee at the townhouse. I made it clear with my initial call that the destination was a two-floor townhouse. There was no mention on the phone or on the deal online about a fee for needing to use stairs at the townhouse. Frankly, if they had used the stairs right next to my apartment, the job could have completed much more quickly. The entire move took 6 hours. In addition, they damaged my furniture -- a rolling printer cart that will cost more than a hundred dollars to replace, and bookcases that, after 15 years, are irreplaceable. After much searching, I was able to replace the shelf brackets that they broke off of the bookcase. All of these years, the bookcases survived moves and usage. Now, they have deep scratches, broken and missing finish, and severe puckering damage from brackets that were torn out. I sent Nick at BestMovers a message on December 6 via Angie's List regarding the damage. No one has responded to my message. I would not recommend using them again and wish I'd chosen Two Marines like last time.

It went well. However, they did not bring the garment boxes which they advertised as part of the deal. Also, they over charged me, but one phone call and the correction was made and appropriate reimbursement paid.

They were very professional, neat, and moved at a perfect place. this went so incredibly effortlessly that I was quite impressed. I would definitely recommend and hire team again.

Nick and Harry helped us move. I bought the deal for $250 for two hours. They communicated and set up a time to do it within a day of purchase. When the day came, they called me 15 minutes before they were due indicating that they were close and asking where to meet them(it was a large apartment building). They arrived on early, and had great equipment (clearly professional movers). They moved all the stuff with care. Didn't ding the walls or damage anything. At the our new home they positioned all the furniture as we requested. They finished the job EARLY. Also, they did not request any additional fees for use of their supplies (tape, blankets). Very professional. thank you very much. They made a very difficult move easy. Make sure you tip them for their services. Thank you. We highly recommend and would use again.

I bought the Angie's List promo for BestMovers for four hours of moving and the use of their truck, and we managed to do it in 5 hours (that included clearing out a densely packed 10x5 storage unit at one location, going to our apartment to pick up more furniture, and then driving 20+ minutes to the house to unload everything, PLUS I couldn't reserve an elevator in my apartment building so we had to wait on elevators, so taking an extra hour overall that I paid for was entirely justified). Nick and his partner were excellent. They handled my belongings carefully and didn't waste time. Some movers try to be fast at the expense of caution (which is when things are most likely to get broken) - but Nick and his partners were calm, confident, and steady. "Slow is smooth, smooth is fast." I was happy to tip them at the end, and I think they were worth every penny (especially given that I didn't have to rent a truck or any equipment!). I don't plan on moving for a long time, but when I do, I will absolutely be looking through my email to find their contact info and would recommend them to any friends planning a move. I also really liked that they start the clock at the time that they show up (and you get to sign a form agreeing as to when the start time actually is) as opposed to when they LEAVE their headquarters (which many other deals on Angie's List tend to have). That means that I was paying for only the time when they were working on my move, not however long it took them to get through traffic to get to the job to actually begin the work.

I would recommend Best Movers anyone. They were able to help us within two days of my initially contacting them. Scheduling was a breeze. The movers arrived a few minutes early. They were very friendly, careful with our items, and they worked swiftly. At the destination site they made sure all of the furniture ended up in the exact place we wanted it. Great experience all around.

Sensational. Their amazing work happened after they were done. I lamented about how the household movers (4 guys) were unable to get the chest up to the second floor. These guys looked at the chest and said we can do it and they did it. Cannot give them enough credit. They did what another team said could not be done.

Arrived on time, reviewed full situation, worked quickly and professionally. Treated items with care and packed truck well. Stacked boxes nicely in storage unit creating a pathway to access them in future.

EXCELLENT. We did most of the packing ourselves and had moved some of the small/delicate things in advance. I had been nervous that this deal was too good to be true. They arrived 10 minutes early. They were very professional, working with a sense of urgency, wrapping pieces of furniture if they could get dirty, etc., always asking questions about my preferred care of the items. They unloaded everything quickly. I've moved 9 times with movers and this was by far the best experience I've had yet.

Overall, I'm completely thrilled with the service. I had three large PODs after a move that I needed help emptying. I contacted BestMovers through Angie's list after getting similar quotes from those recommended on the PODs website. The others' prices were much higher. We had a little trouble connecting on a time. Originally it was scheduled for 2 PM, but then I got a call asking if it could be earlier. I'm like, of course. Then the day of, as I was on my way home for the appointment, I got another call asking if it could be closer to 3 PM. I completely understand other appointments can go over. And, to be honest, I really appreciate the communication! So many services just show up late without letting you know, if they show up at all. The movers (Sergei and ?) were fantastic. They were careful with everything. Took instruction well. Didn't complain about all the stairs (so many things ended up in the basement!) I watched them sacrifice their own hands in order to avoid hitting the walls with the furniture. I've hired big-named professional movers in the past who tore up my house and my furniture as they went. BestMovers were so careful it was amazing. A couple of things really stood out: our new house has wood on the first floor. BestMovers actually recommended and waited for us to put down blankets so we wouldn't scratch the floors. Secondly, we finished early and they overheard us say we'd put together an entertainment center after we put those soft sticky pads on the bottom. Rather then take off 15 minutes early they asked if we wanted help with that, held the furniture as we put the pads on, then even made suggestions as to how best to position things for the wiring we'd have to do later. They worked steadily the whole four hours. We finished the last of the PODS early when I was prepared to go over. They even offered me a bottle of water. Definitely recommend!

Movers showed up on time and with the proper equipment to do the job, and were very efficient. I would use them again.

I have used them twice now. Once to help me move heavy furniture from mytop floor to bottom floor of my house. Recently they moved furniture, home goods and personal items into storage. They are prompt, professional and quick! They even did a great job of organizing things in the storage unit and keeping items that I requested in the front of the unit for easy access. I plan to use them again soon.

They were great. Polite, efficient, didn't break anything, and didn't damage anything.
