An electrician arrived to our home late 2 weeks ago (I rushed home from work only to sit around my house for 2 hours waiting), then the electrician didn't have time to do the job upon arrival. We had to reschedule for today, and they apologized for forgetting to put the appointment on the schedule. This is a huge problem, as we have another company here now to install cameras around our home, and we scheduled the date/time around Southern Electric's availability so that the two could coordinate their work today. Now I've lost money AND delayed my project TWICE because the other company will have to come back (for a THIRD ATTEMPT to do the job). Obviously for take #3 I will secure a different electrical company that I can rely on. Unbelievable. We used Southern Electrical several times (a few years ago) and were happy with them; however, I believe they changed ownership in this time which may explain the difference in service between now and prior years.

Haven't got the work done yet because of delay the parts haven't come in yet. I got a 10% discount because I am a Veteran. I took off from appointments to meet their schedule. The Rep said that they could at least come out and do some of the work, but it didn't happen. I will work with them. They are good Contractors. I can imagine they do great work. I hope that they can get to me soon.

He found out that the light in the front of the garage had too much water from the sprinkler and shorted the light out. It then shorted the garage out. The guy from Southern Electric told me what I needed to do, and only charged me $90. I would absolutely use them again.

My home was originally wired by Southern Electric in the 1970s. After numerous electrical modifications over 40 years, it was time to clean up the nest of wiring and replace an antiquated circuit breaker panel. Based on satisfactory work by Southern Electric on a small job in March, I elected have them replace the panels. Southern Electric's Service Division supervisor was responsive to minor modifications to the contract and gave me a fair price. The work was performed over a couple of days. I am extremely pleased with the result. The electricians sent to my home were knowledgeable and extremely pleasant to deal with. I would definitely use Southern Electric's services in the future.

Guys were great! John and his associate installed 4 ceiling fans from scratch, meaning they had to cut the hole, install the ceiling mount, and wire it all in. The 5th was already pre-wired but never used. Tough job, but they took care of all of it that day, and the results are perfectly installed and operating ceiling fans. Would highly recommend them for anything electrical!

A supervisor visited our home to assess the need, then sent 2 electricians to come and do the job we agreed on. Price was reasonable, they were responsive, professional and accommodating. The two electricians were scheduled to come at 7am but arrived at 7:45am - their lateness is my only complaint. They added new electrical outlets drawn from an existing circuit in our home with the amount of power we needed for a second heater to function in the space. Another provider came and gave us an estimate for thousands of dollars to tear our house up and make it uninhabitable for a week or so while the work was to be done. Instead, Southern Electric saved the day by spending 1.5hr in our house for $165 cost (well below their initial estimate - and scores below estimates provided by the other provider, as described). Perfect!

We had a previous company come out and install some ceiling lights in our kitchen. We were not happy with the service provided and had problems with the lights. We immediately desperately needed someone to assure us the work was done properly in fear our house burn down. The were very kind to come out so quickly and assured us that although there were some minor issues with the previous mans work, we were safe. I would highly recommend them. They were polite and on time and sensitive to my concerns. If in the future I need more electrical work I would absolutely call them

Southern Electrical provided a bid for both the surge suppressor and labor. They were on time, efficient and clean. They did the work in a timely manner, and were personable. We would use them again.

Great job. Team was on time, reviewed the planned work with us. Got right to work. Went over the use of the installed panel and outlets with me before they left. It was a two day job and they left every thing clean. Would definitely hire again.

The worker was good, but didn't speak very good English. He left the area clean. He was very prompt right and on time. They knew what they were doing.

Went very well, installer was prompt and efficient and completed job within 2 hours. Made minimal holes in the wall and cleaned up mess appropriately. I would recommend this company to family and friends for electric work in the future.
