 + 2 moreTwo young men arrived on time and where friendly and professional. They each worked on a bathroom, and at times assisted one another. Both worked neatly and efficiently and the bathrooms were completed in about 5-6 hours. I was absolutely wowed by how amazing the bathrooms looked after they finished. The sheen on the marble made the bathrooms look brand new! I would highly recommend having Sir Grout work their magic on your bathrooms, especially if you're preparing your home for sale. My husband and I definitely did not want to invest some $20-30K each on bathroom remodeling, but wanted our bathrooms to look clean and sparkling to make a good impression on potential buyers. Sir Grout's work was top-notch and our bathrooms look great!
Description of Work: My husband and I are in the process of preparing our Washington, DC condo for sale and the marble tile floors, marble vanities and marble tile in the showers in both our master bathroom and guest were definitely in need of some love. Over 10 years of wear, accumulation of hard to remove dust and discolored grout had left our bathrooms looking less than fresh. We hired Sir Grout to clean, polish and re-seal all of the marble surfaces as well as clean the grout in the showers, and re-grout where needed.

 + 0 moreThe representative who came for the estimate was very efficient and polite. On the day the actual work was performed, two different men came. They both worked hard and were generally polite. However, the one young man told us that one of the sinks was leaking. It wasn't leaking before. I suspect the workmen hit the pipes as they were trying to get that big cleaning machine under the sink pipes. We had to bring in our plumber to repair the sink. The workers who did the actual job, hadn't told us how to clean it. I asked. The worker said something to the effect that he just vacuumed and scrubbed really well. After 12 years of scrubbing and trying all sorts of things to get those bathrooms looking clean, I was a bit insulted. I told him that we were told we'd get special instructions. He said they use a neutral cleaner. I later went on line and saw some instructions and a order form for Mr. Grout cleaner. It would have helped to be given a pamphlet, website reminder, or sample.
Description of Work: We wanted missing Grout repaired and needed our bathroom floors steam cleaned and sealed.

 + -1 moreI cannot praise this company enough for the wonderful work. The quality of their work was outstanding and the outcome far exceeded our expectations. Over the years our grout had turned almost black with ground in dirt. It has now been restored to its original color! I waited this long to write this review to make sure this was not a temporary fix. Happily it was not. The technicians were responsive and friendly and it was obvious from the start that satisfying their customers was of utmost importance to them. Great experience. My only regret is that we did not do this sooner.
Description of Work: Cleaned grout and tiles, color sealed grout and applied clear sealant to multiple tiled areas (kitchen, foyer, breakfast rm, powder rm, etc). They also replaced a tile and replaced crumbled grout.

 + 2 moreSir Grout (Mauricio) did an excellent job on all tasks. There were several, hard-to-see areas of the bathroom which needed polish and re-grout and Mauricio was quick to respond and come back to our house to complete the work. The team worked efficiently and was willing to go beyond the extent of the written contract in order to make the bathroom and kitchen look new. I was very happy with the responsiveness and quality of work performed. Note on price rating: I did get other quotes for less (and that's the ONLY reason I rated them a B on price) - but I'm glad I paid a bit more for the quality of service I received.

 + 2 moreErik and Matthew were the technicians on the job and they were prompt, professional, and did an excellent job. This was essentially a 3 day job and they worked diligently the whole time. i would highly recommend using Sir Grout and requesting Erik and Matthew.
Description of Work: Sir Grout cleaned tile and grout on a large basement ceramic floor followed by sealing the grout. In addition they cleaned and polished a master bathroom marble floor as well as sealed the grout. The work in the master shower included cleaning, polishing the marble and replacing the grout along the floor and walls with epoxy grout.

 + 0 moreThe Service Manager - Mauricio Marmol had confirmed the appointment, followed up before the date, and handled everything in a highly professional manner from doing the estimate to having the work completed. He made sure we went over all the work details before it was started, completed the work in the estimated time, cleaned up and removed all his tools and materials, and was extremely flexible with another work crew that was also completing their jobs at the same time. Overall he was a thorough professional, providing an exceptional product, and completing the work in a excellent manner. He has a positive and engaging personality as well as exceptionally skilled workmanship, and showed a clear attention to the details to get excellent results.
Description of Work: Marble shower and marble surrounding a soaking tub needed refinishing. The shower frame, floor and walls all needed cleaning, polishing and refinishing. Caulk was also needed around two toilets, tubs and sink backsplashes in other bathrooms. The results in the master shower were AWESOME! Everything looked brand new! All the caulking in bathrooms as well as a sink in the kitchen and counter backsplashes were well done.

 + -1 moreI had a shower and a bathtub that needed caulking. One shower was a big problem because the caulking just would not stick longer than 6 months and mold began to build up. I contacted Sir Grout and the general manager, Mauricio, arrived on time and reviewed the project. He suggest an epoxy caulking for the shower and silicone for the other tub. I also asked to have the tub tile cleaned. He suggested color sealant also. The worker arrived and he was pleasant and got to work right away. He completed the job and I was satisfied with the work. A few weeks later I noticed a few of the tiles did not have color sealant. (poor lighting in bathroom) I contacted Mauricio and he responded and completed the work within 10 minutes. I would recommend their services. Customer service is important to me and Sir Grout fulfilled this exceptionally well.

This included ensuring the holes in the grout were filled so that damage to the underlying bathroom walls was prevented, the grout color was uniform, the bathroom walls were properly caulked and the granite countertops in the bathrooms and kitchens were sealed. The work was done in a timely manner and coordinated to facilitate tight deadlines. I highly recommend using Sir Grout for any tile or granite work.

Sir Grout worked the entire day, kept the area clean and made sure that the job was accomplished to my complete satisfaction. They were diligent, highly professional, and apprised me of the status. Upon completion of the job, Sir Grout provided me with instructions on how to maintain the shower. There is no doubt that Sir Grout saved my shower and prevented me from a costly shower replacement in the future.
Description of Work: Master shower walls thoroughly steam cleaned all shower tile and grout with non toxic cleaner. Dry and color sealed grout lines on walls and ceiling (shower floor grout is not colorsealed). Hand buffed once dry. Appied clear Tile Armor sealant and protector to entire shower. Master shower floor. Shower Floor Epoxy Colorseal Deep cleaned existing shower floor to remove soap scum and mineral deposits. Sealed all grout joints with epoxy based ColorSeal matching exactly the existing color. Master shower Applied Valore Cleaner/Sealer to all tile, grout and glass in the shower. Buffed in with a clean cloth or buffing pad. Master shower door. Shower glass (hard water deposits) cleaned. Applied cleaner to shower glass with white buffing pad or hogs hair pad. Removed residue with white pad or hogs hair pad. Repeated process until water spots and etch marks were removed. Master showerRemove existing caulk or grout if necessary from designated joint(s). Filled designated joints with epoxy caulk. As the new owner of the house, Sir Grout had to correct a number of errors involved in installation of the shower from the previous owner. Master shower walls Thoroughly steam clean all shower tile and grout with non toxic cleaner. Dry and color seal grout lines on walls and ceiling (shower floor grout is not colorsealed). Hand buff once dry. Apply clear Tile Armor sealant and protector to entire shower. All showers require a minimum of 12 hours of dry time prior to the work being performed and 72 hours after. MALIBU SAND Master shower walls Thoroughly steam clean all shower tile and grout with non toxic cleaner. Dry and color seal grout lines on walls and ceiling (shower floor grout is not colorsealed). Hand buff once dry. Apply clear Tile Armor sealant and protector to entire shower. All showers require a minimum of 12 hours of dry time prior to the work being performed and 72 hours after.
