Rick's Custom Cabinets

I was remodeling our master bath and had a hard time finding the perfect drawer configuration and color for a vanity. I saw a review of Rick’s Custom Cabinetry on Facebook and contacted Rick. I had a picture of a Restoration Hardware vanity that I loved and they were able to provide a quote over the phone. After putting down the initial deposit, both Larry and Rick came to meet with me and go over specific details, drawer samples, dimensions, and the even worked with my contractor and plumber to a sure that the pipes would be able to fit with the specific drawer layout, which saved a lot of headaches down the road and shows how detail oriented they are. The vanity was finished right on time and it couldn’t be more beautiful. The drawers/doors all have soft close hinges which worked perfectly. It was a breeze to install, and the quality is far beyond anything that I could’ve found a big box store or online. I’d also like to throw in there that Larry and Rick are two of the nicest professionals and I enjoyed working with them so much.

Larry built me a beautiful, finely crafted custom dual vanity wall unit with intricate molding, etc. He was professional, very personable and trust worthy. I gave him a picture of what I wanted and he made that creation come to life. I’m extremely satisfied with my new bathroom- I absolutely love it!!!! Larry is a joy to work with and he’s very talented. I’m beyond satisfied with my bathroom.

Rick and his team did a fabulous job! From our initial meeting, Rick was very professional and polite. He has been in the business a long time and his expertise is evident. He is very experienced, knowledgeable and was trustworthy from the beginning. I showed Rick photos of what I was looking to do and he was able to come up with a design that fit all of our requirements and looks amazing. He built out the cabinets in his shop and came to install over the course of 2 days. He and his team were very friendly and easy to work with. I would definitely call him again for any future projects and would recommend Rick's Custom Cabinets to anyone.

Called Rick and was able to speak with him soon after leaving a message. He was very accommodating with our schedule and came out at a convenient time to look at the job, make suggestions on design, take precise measurements. He sent a quote in the mail (he doesn't do email but that was fine) within days. It was quite reasonable and we sent in a 50% deposit. He was very friendly and professional - I could tell he was an expert and knew what he was doing. Trusted him from the start. He was to build the cabinet in his workshop and bring it back for installation into the already opened up wall. (We were going to do it ourselves initially and quickly realized we needed a professional ;)) He estimated 4-6 weeks but was able to get it done in less than 4. He and his brother Larry came on a Saturday morning to install it and although it took a couple of hours to make it fit like a glove they got it just right and it looks like it was meant to be there and we could not be happier with the product or service! On top of all that the two of them were quite entertaining to watch working together. :) I felt like I was watching an HGTV show. They were so personable and even graciously offered to give us advice on a current project that we are working on. I would definitely call them again for our next project that we can't handle on our own.

I showed Rick a picture of a built in cabinet that I found on the Internet. He made some suggested modifications that helped me keep the project more in line with our budget while still keeping the look we wanted. Rick was extremely easy to work with, the craftsmanship was excellent and his installation crew was efficient, competent and friendly. The finished product literally took our breath away. It is exactly what we were hoping for.

Rick and Larry did a fantastic job. The custom solid wood cabinets are beautiful and have made a huge difference in the look of our kitchen while making it much more organized. Rick and Larry were punctual and professional in completing the installation. We would definitely recommend them and are already planning to have them do more work for us in the future.

The process went very well. The quality of the wood used made for extremely beautiful cabinets! Rick was available for us and answered our many questions, as well as, offering helpful suggestions. He was always there when he said he would be and even completed the cabinets ahead of schedule. Rick was very professional offering his expert guidance and knowledge through the process. We are thrilled with the results! Our kitchen is the focal point of our home, where we spend most of our time. When people come to visit, their first comment is, "Wow, look at your kitchen!". The results are beyond our expectations. The pictures barely capture the incredible beauty and quality of the wood.

Absolutely fantastic! Thank you very much Rick, you did an amazing job on our lockers/cabinets and I am somewhat very hard to please... The quality was so much higher than originally expected! Rick was extremely professional and very prompt with everything! Rick will be our only go to cabinet maker from now on! Thank you so much Rick!!

Rick worked with my wife and I to ensure that we sketched and discussed exactly what we wanted. He then provided detailed plans of all the cabinetry and we again went over details and made changes as needed. He visited the building site many times to know exactly how our project was going and to establish his work plan for installation once the house was almost complete. We always dealt with Rick, not a worker or third party. Rick also assisted us in determining the best woods, drawer railings, pulls/handles and all other accessories. He provided us a contract and price which was all inclusive and never changed. By the time our house was near completion, Rick visited to measure again and to make sure that windows, doors, walls, flooring, plumbing, and electrical installations coincided with his planned installation. He worked with our contractor to ensure that the finished cabinetry was installed after all contractors were finished with the areas. This prevented paint, dust and possible damage from adversely affecting the cabinetry. Rick was always prompt for meetings, installation and touch ups. His work is amazing and all the cabinets as well as the bar and molding looks as good today (5 years later) than the day it was installed. In the end, my wife got exactly the cabinetry, molding, bar and specially designed china unit that she wanted. The price never changed and there was never any type of issues with the end product or Rick and his helpers. We could not be more pleased with his work.
