MACDOWELL CUSTOM KITCHENS

We worked with Janet and the kitchen ended up really fabulous - the heart of the house. We had an unusual space to work with but she managed to make the flow work really well and gave us ideas that we never would have thought of ourselves. The kitchen was expensive in the end but worth it. We have since sold the house but the new owners say they spend all their time in the kitchen, as we did.

This company did my kitchen, soup to nuts... and it is just incredible! We have a large kitchen that was totally transformed from an attractive but dark and uninviting space to a bright and welcoming kitchen full of luxuries and amenities that make my friends SO jealous! (We even have some special features like a pop up shelf that holds my big mixer and secret little compartments here and there that hide my hand towels, cutting board, trash cans… even my toaster.) The quality of the cabinets is top of the line and striking in beauty, the design is thoroughly thought out (taking into consideration *our* specific habits and needs in the kitchen), and the customer service was beyond what I could have expected. At one point, I did have a nervous breakdown... as many folks do in the middle of a major renovation… and owner Gordon MacDowell came over right away, calmed me down and told our contractor how to simply solve the problem in question and within just about 30 minutes I went from tears to laughter, never having to think about that glitch again. This was typical of the extraordinary service we received throughout this process. My husband and I couldn't be happier with the look or function of our kitchen almost a year and a half later. We still consider the money we spent on this kitchen to be money WELL spent and with a company that is run by quality people. I couldn’t recommend them more!
