John arrived with his two-man crew, and surveyed the area, instructed the men, and left until the 8 hours were over. Juan and Juan painted and did a very professional job. They did everything - moved the furniture, set out tarps, taped around moulding, air vents, etc. One of the Juans spoke better English, and he asked some good clarifying questions. They did two coats everywhere, in two different colors and finished in a little less time than the 8 hours. If I had bought more paint (don't rely on Lowes' personnel to estimate for you accurate quantities) they could have done an extra wall somewhere! All said and done, they achieved better than I expected, and I do plan to call them back to paint hallways and a bedroom or two!

My husband was home while the work was performed - was very impressed with care taken to protect our brand new windows, and overall quality of work.

I could not believe how easy it was to deal with Loudoun Custom Coatings! We needed our shutters painted and while many other companies even refused to come out just for this, Jon was happy to come out and meet with me. I received an estimate very quickly and within a few days someone was out to paint! They matched the paint color perfectly and it looks fantastic. Excellent work and fabulous customer service!

After a couple of emails, Jon Childs and I agreed on a price to paint the trim on my garage and the roof vent. We agreed on a date but for a while the weather was crappy and despite that, Jon was able to finish the job on time. No problems.

I had gotten Jon's name from a co-worker, who had used his services and really liked his worked. I always like getting personal referrals like this. I emailed Jon to get a quote and he was out at my house within 2 days and at a time that was convenient for me. We discussed all areas I wanted painted and the possibility of putting in additional crown moulding in our family room. He emailed me the estimate a few days later, we reviewed it and decided to move forward with the painting, but not the crown moulding. This was not because the price wasn't fair, but it just was not necessary at this time. We might have it done in the future. Once we made our decision, Jon had his crew out the next week. His crew of 3 men was on time and worked diligently the entire time. I think they only took a break for lunch! They showed a lot of attention to detail and their drywall patch work is superb. I can't tell where any nail holes had been! The entire job took 2 days, and they put everything back where I wanted it. After they left and as I was hanging new artwork, I noticed a small patch job they missed. I let Jon know and he had one of his workers come out the next day to fix it to my liking. Not only was the work done well, but Jon was concerned that I be satisfied. He even used the no VOC paint I wanted! We're considering using Jon to power wash and stain our fence in the Spring.

All parts of the project went well.

Loudoun Custom Coatings has done two jobs for me. First, they came and painted the interior and exterior of our screened in patio (approx. 400 sq. feet of space). It was about as stress free as you can imagine and we loved the result. Professional all the way. A few months later we needed our entire first and 2nd floor painted with lots of drywall sanding and repair to do and they did an excellent job. The house looked brand new when they were done. It was a pretty big job with 10 rooms plus the two level foyer. They helped us choose the right paint and even repainted a room when we didn't really like the color (happens sometimes). We were very pleased with the experience and will use Loudoun Custom Coatings in the future.

My wife and I own a detached home that is roughly 4000 sq. ft. in Leesburg. When we first walked through the house, prior to purchase, we knew that painting would be one of our first undertakings. What we didn't realize was the couple we purchased the home from had put so many holes in the drywall throughout the house, it was going to take a lot more than paint to get it to our liking. I'm a fairly experienced DIYer and rather meticulous so I'm always skeptical when it comes to letting someone else work in my house, but I (meaning my wife) didn't want to drag this out so a painting company was the logical choice. Loudon Custom Coatings was one of 4 companies I called, and was the only company willing to come out and give an estimate within a week so they got the nod. John, the owner, came out and did the estimate himself. At the time we had a few things we weren't 100% set on doing (game room, trim, bathrooms) and he broke the quote down into each space which made our decision easier. The workers were on time, clean (no residue, paint-drips, etc), and worked very efficiently. We felt the work was completed in a very timely manner. What would have taken me at least three full weekends was completed in three days from start to finish (patching, priming, and painting). We also felt the workers were respectful of our home (wore booties over shoes, did not clutter the space with tools, etc) and of us when we were present in the space during a portion of their work time.

Excellent. Jon explained in detail what needed to be done. They were in and out in no time. The leak was fixed successfully.

Jon was right on time the day we scheduled to have him come out to evaluate the work we wanted done. He explained in detail what the job would entail. He provided us with an estimate the next day by e-mail. Jon was on site at the beginning of each workday and was attentive to all our questions and concerns. The job took a little longer than Jon expected since the wood siding needed to be special ordered. But this was not a concern for us. His crew was professional and took care not to damage our landscaping or drop paint onto porches or the driveway. When the job was finished, we along with Jon surveyed the finished work. We noted 2 small areas that needed a touch up. Jon readily agreed and had the painters out the next day to do the touch ups. The job went well and they did an excellent job. Overall very good experience and we will definitely hire again for some interior painting in the near future.

They did an excellent job, were very thorough, and very professional. It took several days to do the work, and Jon stopped by every morning before the day's work began to give me updates, suggestions, etc. He never performed any work without first getting our approval. Jon is a very friendly guy, easy to talk to, and never rushed. Would definitely hire again!
