Thank you for the recommendation. I suppose if things go wrong here is what you can expect. Its been a year and half of dealing with problems and delays working with Jon. It took nearly 2 months for the guys to show up. When he finally installed the system, transformer burned out within hours. Then a few weeks later he installed another transformer and that one burned out as well. Then he installed a bigger transformer the system within days and we found the wire coming out of the transformer burned. This system Jon recommended and installed has been mostly inoperative. Not to mention the light and the wires were never properly buried. The system has never worked properly and every time the system stops working it takes a lot of effort to get Jon to actually show up to try to fix it. Its been incredibly frustrating. He keeps changing dates or not showing up. Last Halloween I requested several weeks in advance to please come before Halloween I wanted light for just one day and I waited for him till the last minute - but Jon never showed up. HI finally showed up but shortly after on November 2, 2021 the light went out again. On March,10th we reached out to him after not having lights over the winter. He responded by saying he will come by next week. By he didn’t show up next week again. On March,16 and 17th we reached out to him by a text message again asking what day of the week is he planning to stop by and received no answer by text. On Friday, March 18th we called and he said he is all day in McLean and he will get to us whenever he can because he is so busy and he is in the area again. Just be patient. Again, no date no time for another week. On March, 28th when I asked him of a date and told him the service has been awful, Jon became very angry and started saying “now you have upset me”. He never gave us a date as usual as to when he would stop by. I asked him what is the warranty of your work he said “Is none on file”. We are in the process of getting quotes from other companies to fix the broken system if possible. I regret hiring Jonathan Zans Landscaping company or trusting them with our business.
