Excellent moving service! I wish I had used them when I had moved out of my previous residence, but I'm glad I found them to help me move in to my new space. They were responsive, professional, and took great care of my items. In addition, since I had a horrid experience with the people that moved my items to the storage unit, they informed me of all damaged items, so that I was aware. In addition to the top of the line service, they were honest and accurate about the estimated cost for services and didn't try to price gouge me like other moving companies. As a woman looking for professional services, it's always great to feel respected by those you do business with. If you need a moving company, this is the one to go with! Moving refrigerators

Excellent. I'm on the frugal side but really needed to move quickly, so I hired movers, but tried to keep costs down as much as possible. I had everything packed up, and they managed to get it all out very quickly. I wasn't moving anything bigger than a loveseat, but given a winding descent down 20 steps and 2 fairly narrow platforms, I thought it would take longer. There was a 45 minute drive that maybe took them closer to an hour, but I cant blame them at all for stopping to recharge after their effort emptying out the apartment. Moving stuff into the new place took a little longer. I tried to stress to them that they could just leave everything in the living room, but after the 3rd or 4th time of them asking where to put things my s/o decided to take over playcalling duties. It wound up coming to an hour beyond the initial deal, but in the end paid almost exactly what I expected, with the bonus of having stuff dispersed in the new home. Also worth noting that the movers wore masks, which was appreciated, but after seeing how much they effort they were exerting I suggested they take them off if they wanted and that we'd steer clear so they can breathe more easily. One, the youngest of them, took us up on it but the other two were pretty adamant about keeping them on, and when they arrived at the new place to unload he had it back on without us asking. For those who are concerned about COVID exposure from the movers I'd say they were definitely on the cautious side, and that it wasn't just for show. If the need were to arise, I would definitely hire again.

I had a very small, local moving job (a bed and a bookcase) which a lot of the bigger moving companies won't take (or if they do, they charge a fortune). Eastwind Movers gave me a quick over the phone estimate which was accurate and they arrived promptly and were professional and friendly. I would definitely hire them again.

Lots of stairs :( at our townhouse and some tricky corners, but they were careful. (We had removed handrails and it was still tight). Our bed frame did not fit but they came up with a pulley system and got it onto the second floor deck and it was smooth from there. Steady workers, no slacking - just panting from so many stairs!!! Very happy.

3 guys....all friendly and professional. We were an on-the-way-home, end of the day add on.....and couldn't have had a better experience! They kept moving and finished much quicker than I had expected!

Not bad, but estimate was considerably lower than the actual cost. The mover had said it would be based on 3 movers, but it was actually four the day of the move. He should have told me that when he gave me the estimate. The mover was very nice and had three young men who did most of the moving. They did a decent job, but the cost was higher than I liked. I had actually wanted to use a different moving company that had moved me before, but I thought Eastwind Movers was going to be cheaper, based on the estimate. When all was said and done, it would have cost me the same amount to use the other mover that I had wanted to use. Live and learn

I was referred to this business by a co-worker who has used Eastwind for multiple moves. Mark the owner handled all of the scheduling and worked both of our moves. For the first move (apartment to storage) we booked a three man team and four showed up - the owner explained that they wanted to finish quickly due to the bad weather (cold and snowing) and having a job in a more rural location in the afternoon. We were ok with this reasoning but I would have appreciated a heads-up before the 4th person arrived. They worked quickly, often carrying 2 boxes at a time. For the second move (storage to townhouse) scheduling was a bit of a challenge on our end due to poor communication from our builder. Mark was very understanding and helpful even though we had to reschedule our original appointment (late Friday afternoon) on short notice due to closing being cancelled. The move itself went smoothly. Through both of the moves Mark and his team were polite and respectful of our belongings. They worked with a sense of urgency that is often missing from hourly work. I have already referred them to my local relatives and I would use them again without hesitation.

They’re wonderful. They came on short notice, they came the day before Thanksgiving. They came even though holiday was coming. They had everything done in no time. They delivered it really nicely. There were no broken things and everything was in good shape.

I did not feel afraid of being ripped off. I was referred to them by a friend, who had had a great experience with them. They have their own trucks and have been a family owned business for 25 years. They are prepared to move heavy objects well. They were already booked and referred me to a company that I also rated well. If they had not been booked, they would have been my first choice.
