Justin and the Calabrese team were fantastic. He came out quickly and turned around a quote within 2 days. The crew was very professional and did a tremendous job on our home remodel. The renovations to our kitchen and bathrooms was impeccable and they took very good care of our home. No damage, no messes to clean up. You can tell that Calabrese is committed to doing high quality work for an affordable price. I would definitely use them again in the future.

I had an excellent experience with Calabrese Home Improvement doing a full bathroom remodel and a couple smaller projects. Everybody who worked on the project was top notch -- on time, polite, clean, and high quality work. They stayed on budget and set realistic expectations up-front. They also helped me pick the right materials and weigh various design choices that made a huge difference in functionality for our small bathroom. I have recommended Calabrese to multiple friends and clients since working with them and will definitely use them again in the future.

We chose Calabrese Home Improvement to do a complete remodel of our home in 2018 and are thrilled with how everything turned out! This was a HUGE project that involved just about anything you can think of – knocking down walls, a bump-out extension on our top floor and finishing an attic space, a full kitchen gut/remodel, foundation repair, adding a bathroom and powder room, installing and refinishing hardwood floors, and re-plumbing and re-wiring the whole house. Justin and his crew were fantastic to work with throughout the whole process. He was great with communication, both in terms of keeping us updated and answering our questions. He has great contacts with suppliers, and took the time to go with us when we were picking out materials and making design and layout decisions. He also provided some excellent advice in terms of design and function throughout the whole project, which really helped us achieve a final result that we love. The crew at Calabrese are incredibly skilled, efficient, and personable. During the final stage of our project we were living in part of the house with our dogs and kids while a lot of work was still going on, and everyone worked with us to make it as easy as possible. Justin takes a lot of pride in his work and truly cares about his clients – this came across clearly the first time we met him, and it was a big reason why we chose to work with Calabrese for such a big project. We’re very glad we did!

Justin was super responsive at first. emailed right away and came out quickly to look at the job (complete bathroom redo) I waited a few days for the quote he said he would said and never heard back. Even emailed to see if he was still planning on sending the quote...nothing. If you don't want to do the job that is fine. but you at least need to communicate that with the customer. i waited and extra week because i genuinely wanted them to do the work. A two second email that they were too busy would have been nice

We used Calabrese Home Improvement for a recent kitchen and bath renovation at our 1900s row home in DC. From the first meeting, Justin really understood what we wanted for the renovation and set about to develop a plan to achieve it. We wanted a look that would complement and stay true to the age and style of our home. Justin and his team got it right at every turn. The initial estimate was straightforward and the documentation for the project scope was also clearly defined and easy to see the steps that would be complete and when. We originally just wanted to do our kitchen, but after seeing the work begin, we were so pleased that we added a much needed bathroom remodel to the scope. Justin added the bathroom project and didn?t miss a beat. His communication was great and he kept us informed of progress at each step and let us know what selections we needed to make at each step. His contacts with local manufacturers and suppliers was exactly what we needed! Our cabinets and countertop were perfect choices for us and he helped navigate us through the thousands of choices by narrowing it right down to what we needed. Through the process, Justin and his team made suggestions for a better way to achieve what we wanted in either a more cost effective or less invasive way. Our troubleshooting sessions resulted in some of our favorite and unexpected additions. They also went the extra mile in suggesting improvements to our plan for things we wouldn?t have through of, but that have made our project so much better. Out 10+ year old hot water heater died about halfway through the project and Justin got us an estimate that afternoon and his crew replaced it the next morning. The price point was very reasonable and we felt that it was fair and competitive, especially in the DC area. The quality of the craftsmanship, carpentry and finishing were top notch, giving the look a top-of-the-line look and feel. I?ve been in renovations where it is clear that the materials were pricey, but the finish was mediocre, so the end result looked shotty. The opposite is true here. The attention to the finishing details and molding created the perfect, high end finished product. Overall Justin and his crew delivered a final product on time and within budget that exceeded our expectations. I cannot recommend Justin and Calabrese Home Improvements highly enough. They will be our first call whenever we need to do work on our home in the future.
