Description of Work: Communication was the key issue. I wasn't notified when they arrived and started work. Those performing work primarily spoke Spanish. In retrospect I don't think the proposal was detailed enough. They were accommodating though, and I'm satisfied with the result.

Description of Work: They were to weed and mulch our yard. Laborers pulled prized plants which were destroyed - for example - a blooming clematis with over 10 years of growth on a hay-rake. I had to argue that it wasn't a weed when the tried to pull it in another place. They trimmed the iris's foliage too close; many rhizomes did not survive the pruning or disruption from the weeding since they didn't really replant some of the ones they pulled up. After discussing the issues, they did come back in the fall to replace the clematis, but it really doesn't make up for the loss and I have no idea if the plants will survive. They also only put a minimum of mulch in the gardens - maybe at most a half inch; many places much less. wasn't expecting 4", but did expect more than we got. We have spent the remainder of summer re-pulling weeds since the roots were not pulled. We will have to redo the mulch as well. | |It was a big job, but I also spent big bucks. Overall very disappointed. Maybe an okay place if you are only spot weeding and reapplying to well mulched beds.

Description of Work: The moving truck ran over ours and our neighbor's yards. Blue Sky was quick to the rescue, adding topsoil and new sod. It looks fantastic and was a great price.

We can arrange an appointment at a reasonable time when the maximum number of leaves have fallen and my husband has been able to blow and rack them into the ditches. We switched to Blue Sky when the previous company we had used became too busy to guarantee a time when they could come as they had full-time customers who also needed this service.
Description of Work: We have woods around our house and more leaves in the fall from our mature oaks and maple trees than one can imagine. Blue Sky comes once each autumn to vacuum the leaves from the ditches around our half acre corner lot.
