Description of Work: They completed a deck in my backyard. The experience was very good overall. There were some unanticipated problems with the deck, but they did a really good job with taking care of the problems. There was also a mix-up of when they would start the work, but once that was taken care of everything went smoothly. I was really happy with the work!

Description of Work: Renovated 28 year old deck. Thought I'd have to spend $10-12k to have it replaced. Chris (Atlantic pres.) submitted a plan using existing footings, frame, etc. to make it like new for half my expected cost. Whole experience was great - estimator was on time, low pressure, listened to what I wanted to accomplish; submitted reasonable plan at reasonable price. Project was delayed by snow, but then crew showed up as soon as weather permitted and did a quick, professional job. During demolition of old deck, an accident caused minor damage to my property; they fixed it quickly and effectively so that I never would have known about it if they hadn't pointed it out to me. After completion, they cleaned up thoroughly, and the boss gave it his final inspection before requesting final payment. All around great experience - had none of the typical problems I've come to expect from contractors.
