Description of Work: Sorry, maybe this isn't normal feedback timing. I need service on my fireplace and called them thanks to rating on Angie's List. They took 1 1\2 days to get back to me, which wasn't great, but it happens. When they did call me, here is how it went: Hello? (me) This is Amazing Flame, I am following up on your call into us, first available is week of January 15th? How do you know what I need? Just letting you know we can't come when you asked, first available is week of January 15th, would you like to schedule? Was acting like they didn't give a crap about me just wanted to plug me in. Didn't have a service approach, didn't ask me anything, I'd have had absolutely no issue if they had, instead said, Hello Mr. Killian, we are calling you back, we cannot do the week you suggested, what is it you think you need? (I tell them). Well, we are happily pretty busy, our first available is week of 15th, will that work? If we get a cancellation we can put you on the list, but that is all we can do now, do you want to try to schedule something. (and by the way AL, I know that a list isn't even sometimes a thing, but it makes the customer feel you are listening). Instead I was rushed for an answer and rushed off. I wouldn't use them if they did it for free. Have a particular thorn in my paw about people who are lazy on the phone with potential new customers, whether it is me or not. So am trying to find someone else. I don't even know if they are good. Will never know. Thought you'd want to know.

Description of Work: I called for service of my gas fireplace because even after changing the batteries to the remote, I couldn't get the remote to work (to light the fireplace.) It was suggested I first try changing the batteries in the control box before I scheduled a service call. Changing he batteries worked! Thank you to Amazing Flame for their integrity.

Description of Work: Requested service, scheduled the service, and the company cancelled the day before for personal reasons and said they would reschedule, that has not happened. I offered a date, no response. I did make a mistake, looking for another company to clean my gas fireplace, sent a message to Amazing Flame Gas Fireplace and they responded asking for my zip code. I did not respond when I realized I had done.

+ 0 moreI called this company as the pilot light on my 14-year old gas fireplace would not ignite--it would just flicker and not come on. I assumed I would need a new unit due to the age of it. However, Russ came out (at the exact time he said he would) and thoroughly cleaned the unit and checked all the vents and whatever to be sure it was operating properly and safely. He fixed the pilot light and assured me this unit had many more good years left on it. They were very accommodating to come out at 1p.m. so I did not have to miss a day of work.
Description of Work: thoroughly cleaned my gas fireplace and repaired the pilot light which would not come on.
