Most punctual, reliable handyman I've ever had. Wish I could take him with me when I move.

Humourously. He was close to an hour and a half late to the initial appointment. I'm not a noob when it comes to home improvement, I've been involved in the industry for years, so I know what is supposed to happen when someone decides they want to add something to their house. This guy came in, and no joke, just measured the opening of the doorways and left. That's it. No real consultation. I knew the entryway for the French doors would need to be framed in, he didn't say anything about that, didn't measure anything for that. Just measured the opening and left. It was clear he didn't know what he was doing. We get the estimate back and the estimate was around $300.... The cost of the doors alone was over $300. Now I'm all about a good price, but this price is not a good price. This is a "I have no idea what I'm doing and you're going to end up with a sham of a job" price. So for him to be over an hour late to the appointment, not knowing what he was doing... The name of the business fits well. "Casual" indeed.

Glenn is professional. I originally had asked about a piece of siding on a Dormer as well and because of the roof slope he preferred I get a professional for siding, but I had no issue with that and please to do so. He showed up on time, performed the work as quick as necessary and billed me as discussed.

Outstanding, As soon as I purchased the package for 4 Hours of handyman services, I was in touch with Glenn within a day. Glenn and I immediately set a schedule and he arrived 30 min ahead of that schedule. The work Glenn performed for me was outstanding and I plan to do more projects with him. It is good to have a quality handyman on speed dial.

It didn't. I contacted them after purchasing this deal. I promptly heard back from them. I explained what I needed help with, putting a $400 pool from Walmart together. After waiting quite some time for them to decide if they COULD help with this I finally emailed him to see what his decision was and several days later I received an email reply saying they couldn't help with the job!!! This delayed my pool going up by a couple of weeks... Kids were irritated.

Overall it went well especially considering he give me a quote, job site unseen. Very reasonable prices. I didn't provide enough paint for the half bath so that was on me. Would hire again.

I needed some simple caulking around the windows on the second level of my home, and some repair work where there had been water damage from the leaks. He told me straight out that he wouldn't work on the second floor, as though my job was somehow "too involved" for him.

They were fast and explained everything.

It went very well. Glenn is a professional and his workmanship was of high quality. Was able to answer any questions quite well.

Went well. However, had to have them return to regrout a couple areas in shower and fix faucets which were leaking (due to equipment not installation). Very professional and would hire them again.

Went great! Replaced wood moulding fit perfectly. The framing on the back door is held in place so that it won't come apart.

Not efficient and quality of work is ok at best. Price is on the high side due to work inefficiency.

It was great I will have Mr. Glenn Back real soon. By the way I'm a very picky person when it comes to someone doing work for me. I had no problems at all.

Good. Glenn was easy to work with and the work was completed in a reasonable amount of time. He even came back to repaint because the color of the touchup paint did not match my walls. I will use Glenn's services again.

Came to my house on short notice, provided an estimate, and made the repairs as promised on the following day. Very trust worthy and reliable.

I wouldn't use them again. It was all cracked when it dried. I ended up having to pay someone else to come back and do it. He was very professional. They should do better quality of work. He didn't have a hammer and he used the back of the screwdriver. I don't think he was prepared or maybe he didn't have his right vehicle. He was very pleasant, very nice and very professional. What he did should be redone. He came out within two days. The price was okay. It was reasonable.

I already attempted to write a review -- so this may in fact be a second review of the same service. Do not "ding" the contractor twice for the same poor performance. Outline of what was done is provided under "what the provider did" above. The job was a simple replacement of a light pole in the front yard of my property in Stafford, VA. It had been knocked down by a neighborhood kid in early December 2015. The first contractor arranged for through Angie's List's Big Deal strung me along for a little over a month without doing the work. Angie's customer rep informed me I could not get a refund and set me up with a second contractor ... for $100 more than the first ... to address the problem. Needless to say, the second contractor (Casual Glenn) did NOT work out -- for details of how I was strung along for about 2 months, see my notes above. Casual Glenn has now given up, leaving me $250.00 out and with no solution. The tenant living at the property is livid, since the light pole has been down for about 3 months. At least Casual Glenn's handyman was polite. I am now pursuing a separate solution that WILL solve the problem. I expect to hear from an Angie's List rep -- although I have already talked to one on the phone today. I also expect Angie's solution will NOT satisfy me. I am uninterested in yet another credit and equally uninterested in trying a third contractor to accomplish work 90 days overdue. At least through Angie's List.

The light had a lot of parts. Glenn was very patient.

Work was completed and problems solved.

I called on Tuesday. The message says your call will be returned on the next business day. By Friday I had received no return call, so I call again. It has now been a week and no call. Must not need the business I guess.

It went well. I have written a review previously based on the last visit. My only concern now is on the follow up. He was supposed to contact me with regard to other work that I needed done and supposed to schedule some time to fix things at my Mother's residence. He was supposed to call so I waited a few days. When I didn't hear from Glen, I contacted him and he said he was working a project that would take 2-3 days and that he would contact me when complete. So I told him to let me know when he was done because I would like to have the work completed before going back to work the next week. He never responded after that last text. I think Glen does an excellent job with first impressions and working quickly, but I would encourage Glen to maintain good communications in order to keep the customer base that you build. Understand that Glen is working solo, but...

The wall unit was not put together properly and the amount of time to complete the unit cost us an additional fee. My husband felt he took longer than it should've taken to assembly the piece. Once the wall unit was assembled he realized it wasn't done properly and my husband ended up taking the whole system apart to assembly it properly. :(

Glenn visited us the Thursday prior to check on what we needed and to advice what supplies to get. He was extremely helpful in using my smart phone to take a photo of the hanging ballasts so I could present this to the store assistant and thus avoid confusion. He advised what other supplies we should get. On September 2, Glenn was punctual, and immediately started on replacing the ballasts belonging to the two hanging strip lights in the basement. He completed all tasks efficiently and well. My husband and I highly recommend Glenn. He is personable and knowledgeable and would definitely contact him again when we need help.

Excellent. Mr. Glenn is very professional, honest, and trustworthy to have as a handyman. He was very prompt and courteous, and did quality work. I plan to use him again and give his name to my friends who needs service.
