The job went smoothly. Chris showed up as scheduled. The only delay occurred when the supplier ordered the wrong siding. Chis called immediately to let us know about the mix-up and adjusted the interior work to provide minimum disruption while deferring the exterior work until the siding arrived. He sanded and painted the room and install baseboard as well. He was very meticulous in his painting of the room.
Description of Work: We used Chris in 2009 to remodel our bathroom, I think pictures are on the CRC webpage. We were very happy with the outcome so gave him a call for our pantry project. We converted a laundry room off the kitchen into a pantry. To accomplish this, we need the appliance hook-ups removed and a door to the rear of the house removed. Removal of the door required matching almost 10-year old siding. We also changed out the interior door to one with frosted glass. The original intent was to put cabinets and granite countertops in the room, but after looking at the price tag, over $15,000, my wife settled for metal shelves from Costco (for now). The price was driven by the cost of cabinets and the amount that she wanted in the room. I should also point out that Chris was open about the fact she wanted more cabinets in there than most people put in their kitchen. We did several different layouts, but the amount of cabinets was the cost driving issue. On the cabinets, Chris uses Reico Cabinetry as his cabinet supplier. They make a quality cabinet and we have purchased from them before. Independent of Chris, we took the room measurements to Home Depot. Getting another designers ideas produced a different layout, but the number of cabinets did not change. More importantly, keeping the quality on the same level did not produce a significant reduction in cost, hence the decision to go with the wire racks. With respect to price, the grade reflects more the desire to always get something cheaper than what we are paying for it. Chris provided a fair price, and even more importantly, he provided quality in his work.

After a severe hail storm damaged our shingles, the insurance co provided a quote, CRC worked from the quote, and provided a reasonable estimate, and soon peformed a very satisfactory effort.
Description of Work: The most recent was new roofing shingles on home and shed. It included removing existing shingles, fan, TV dish, and installing new shingles. Good price, good work, and easy to work with. Had CRC perform two bathroom remodeling with similar results

Very poor customer service. Took initial deposit check on June 12th and did not start work until 23 Aug. Not all fixtures, cabinets, tile and special sized shower door were put on order with deposit check so project came to halt on several occasions as contractor was waiting for materials to arrive. Was not informed on numerous occasions as to status of the job and what was the hold up. Original time estimate to complete project was three weeks, took a total of eight weeks to complete and that was not to satisfaction. Had to start using bathroom after seventh week, as we had house guests come out from California. Put together a punch list with contractor and was supposed to get a phone call the night before they would come over to work in bathroom. No phone call, so we had not removed toiletries and such from areas that would be receiving touch ups. Contractor didn't remove either and we ended up with dust and paint on new granite countertop, toothbrushes and other personal items plus grout stuck in a razor blade that was in the shower. Totally unprofessional and a complete disregard for our personal belongings. Seemed like a slap in the face because we had asked for some minor touch ups that the contractor should have noticed in the first place. Don't use these guys!!!
Description of Work: Total bathroom remodel...replaced plastic shower enclosure with floor to ceiling tumbled marble tile shower, new tumbled marble tile floor, new kona maple cabinets, all new Moen oil rubbed bronze fixtures throughout, granite countertop.
