Absolute Pest Solutions

We paid Absolute Pest every year for 10 years to check our crawl space. We were told there was no moisture damage. When selling our house, we asked them to come and do a termite and moisture check and they cleared it, saying there was no termite or moisture damage. The next day when the buyers home inspector came, he told us there was significant moisture damage under our house! DO NOT believe them when they tell you they check or know what they are doing, because they DO NOT! When I called to discuss it with them, all I got was a bunch of excuses, they did take any responsibility for missing the damage.

Representative showed up on time and was very helpful in answering questions. Was also friendly when I called a couple days later with follow-up questions. No sales pressure throughout. I am planning to purchase from them, will update once treatment is performed.

We pay them $65 a quarter for the regular bug spraying and $85 for the termite. They're very quick to handle calls if I have an issue. They're usually there within a day or 2. I think they're very reasonably priced compared to other providers. We've used them for 3-4 years. They're responsive in taking care of issues.

I first contacted Absolute in February to remove the squirrel(s) and repair the fascia that they ate their way in through. Although I called a local 757-phone number, I was surprized to learn that the company was out of Fairfax, VA. The first trap was placed in the wrong spot. I had to call the company to get someone back out to check/reposition the trap. After that, the technician would arrive unnanounced, and leave phone messages that he was sorry to missed me. On the day the tech decided to close the hole, he arrived driving not his usual truck but different company truck, and didn't have the appropriate supplies to seal the access hole. The net result, I had to contact another company less than 6 mo later to have squirrels and a roof rat removed.

They were very timely when it came to giving the estimate, as well as having the job done. The work was completed within a week of the initial phone call. And when I called for the estimate ( they had a coupon in a mailer) it was after 6pm. at night, but I still managed to speak to an individual on the phone instead of leaving a message which made me very happy.
