Description of Work: I called Armstrong Heating & Air Mechanical services to install a complete heat pump and new duct system in my home. After being late for the initial appointment, I was told the estimate would be sent to me via email the following morning. After not receiving the estimate by email, I telephoned to inquire about the proposal. I was assured I would be contacted. After five days, I have yet to receive even a follow up call, and still no proposal nor estimate. Why would this provider pay to be on Angie's List if they either can not or do not want to provide service?

Description of Work: My gas furnace died this winter and it was also discovered that I had a bad AC coil. So after getting a pay out from my warranty company, I got several bids to replace the furnace and coil, of which Armstrong Mechanical was one. Armstrong bid me a fair price, they took the time to explain how the installation would work and why they were doing what they were doing. Also, because of the good experience I had with them through an Angie's List furnace tune-up deal, I knew the level of professionalism that they would bring to the table. I weighed all those factors before making my decision to use them and the result turned out to be exactly what I wanted, good professional work at a fair price. I'd use them again.

Description of Work: They did a tune-up for my a/c system.

Description of Work: I have used Armstrong Mechanical Services on several occasions. They installed my main floor central heat and air (including the duct work) and removed my radiators, which was an extra request. They also installed my two HVAC ductless units upstairs. In addition, they installed a new electric water heater which required switching out the previous gas water heater. When I call it is usually Daniel Armstrong (the owner) who answers the phone. In addition to the above services, I have called Daniel for a couple of other things which needed attention. All calls and service were handled professionally and promptly. I prefer to use locally owned and operated small businesses, and very glad that I decided on Daniel when I began my renovations over three years ago.

It took a number of return visits to get it work properly and a couple of diagnosis and tweaks to get it to mesh with my existing pipe work. They stayed with the job until it was right and now it is very reliable. I have booked a maintence contract with them for future service.
