Great, wonderful workers and very ethical - Will is superb!

He told me that he could not repair it or do the job.

Will Grant is a very competent, professional handyman. He is not cheap, and you get what you pay for. We thought his price was fair. The price included the lumber and supplies used in this job. We are happy to recommend Will Grant, and will certainly use him again in the future.

He was neat, polite, on time, and we liked that.

I've had work done twice by Will and his crew and they are excellent. First, he is great about working you into his schedule and letting you know in advance if something comes up and he has to reschedule. He is very punctual and I absolutely appreciate that. He really knows what he's talking about and he and his crew do excellent work. They arrived at our house just after 7:30am and literally spent the entire day there (until about 4pm). They weren't sure if they would be able to finish everything and were willing to schedule another appointment at our convenience if not, but they worked hard and managed to get everything done. We mostly needed a number of little things along with some bigger painting jobs and absolutely everything they did was top notch. Also, I've dealt with afew other handymen from Angie's List before I found Will and I can definitely say his prices are more than reasonable especially when compared to some others. He seems to have plenty of business so I think that speaks volumes in itself. I'm not much of a handyman myself, so I will definitely need work done again, and when I do, Will will be the first one I call.

I was extremely impressed with Mr. Grant's professional approach. I thought all I needed was to have my house trim painted. He pointed out the areas where the trim was rotten. He stated he would power wash the house, replace all the rotten places with polywood and then have his crew paint. On the days of work, his crew showed up at the appointed time and went to work. He came to check on their work. When more rot was found below the diningroom window, the workman showed me how they tested for rot with a drill. So when they added more charges to the repair, I understood and agreed to the additional expense. I feel confident the trouble areas have been addressed and dealt with.

We had a closet removed, a second closet downsized with added shelves, the attic access moved to the hall, the carpet removed, bamboo flooring installed, recessed lighting installed and the room repainted. Will and his crew were very professional and got everything done in the timeframe that he predicted. We especially liked that he did not mark up the price of materials; in fact we benefited from any contractor discounts that he had. Will is very honest and operates with integrity.

Will Grant and his team were wonderful to work with. We procured most supplies (floor tile and tub tile, paint, hardware and new plumbling fixtures, lights, etc.)and they picked up and delivered the heavy ones (toilets, 60" vanity and vanity top). They procured the tub and wainscoating and trim work. The team of two workers worked diligently, were pleasant and completely professional and cleaned up at the end of each day. They finished all work within two weeks and two days. I would highly recommend him - have already to neighbors, family and good friends.

Super, once again. Have used The Handyman Can a number of times and will turn to them again. Incredibly versatile and talented crew of people. These guys can do so many things, so well. Highly recommended!

We are in the middle of preparing the house for sale soon and Will and his team are very professional at a good price, and they get the work done quickly and at a high quality standard. They only took 2 days to get the work done and I thought it would have taken a lot longer.

He did a couple of other jobs for me as well. I felt the price for the other two jobs was high.

The workers were prompt, professional, and very pleasant to interact with. The ceiling had to be opened to reveal the exact nature of the problem, and Will Grant came up with a design for the repair on the first day of the job. He and his assistants procured the necessary building supplies that day and the actual work extended over two days. Were were impressed with the attention to job quality and the precautions taken to minimize impact of the work on adjacent areas of our home. Plastic barriers were set up to contain the dust and noise. Replacement of the ceiling gypsum board was done such that one cannot tell the work had been done. This involved applying joint compound and tape, careful sanding, and ultimately painting. Drying fans were used to accelerate the various stages of this work and this phase of the work was finished in less than a day. Final clean-up was done very well and overall impact of the work on our home was negligible. The repaired stairway is now solid and firm - actually better than 'new'. We were very pleased with the overall job and enjoyed interacting with the team. We highly recommend this group for any household carpentry-type jobs.

Contacted Mr. Grant on August 13, 2012. He made an appointment with me for September 1 (no time, just day) to come out and look at the fence. Beginning four days prior I called Mr. Grant and left a message to get an idea of when he would be out on the day scheduled so I could plan my day around him. I continued to call him up to the two days before, leaving detailed messages, pleading with him to return my call. He never did. I eventually called him and left a message that his services were not needed due to his unresponsiveness. If this is how he handles his clients, leaving them in a lurch, blowing them off, I can not count that his quality of work on being satisfactory.

Will fit me into the schedule within 2 weeks. The gate works and looks great.

Will came out and replaced it the next day. I had tried calling many different contractors and handymen but couldn't get anyone to come out. Will bought a new part and put it on the roof in a couple of hours. Would definitely recommend him to family and friends!

I had a last minute request because I'm getting my home ready for sale. Mr. Grant fit me in his schedule. He was on time & professional. Him & his assistant got the work done in record time. They cleaned up after themselves and left not a trace. I couldn't comment on the price as I didn't comparison shop so I don't know if he was more or less expensive than others. However, after seeing him in action, I would trust this company with any future projects.

He does reliable work and I know I can count on him. He's conscientious and reasonably priced.

I had an appointment for the removal and installation of attic stairs. Will knew that I was under some time pressure to get the job completed before 1 July. He called today and asked if I would agree to have the job done today about a week earlier as he and his crew were available. I consented. He was prompt in his arrival started the project immediately and completed the project in about 3 hours. His work is neat, accurate; his work is of high quality and his clean up is complete. His price quote was reasonable and straight forward. There are no innuendos or open ended statements. I will use him again.

We contacted Will through Angies List. Will was very responsive and met us at the condo to give an estimate. We had 3 estimates and Will's was the lowest...but the reason we went with him is we were so impressed from the outset. Will and his crew worked diligently to get the work done and did an excellent job. He always kept us in the loop and if he found an additional problem he would bring it to our attention. He offered many suggestions which we never even thought about that would make the unit more appealing. I was concerned about having someone other than the cabinet company install the cabinets but WIll did the work and it looked fabulous. Everyday, they worked they always cleaned up the area before leaving. They always showed up on time. And more importantly the workmanship was excellent. All I had to do was pick out the paint colors and the carpeting and tile and WIll would pick up the supplies and install them. I highly recommend WIll Grant and his crew. We are having them back to remodel our own home.

Estimate was provided and agreed. Job took longer than estimated so additional team members were brought in to complete the job and estimate was not exceeded.

I was very pleased, he was punctual. He did a good job and went out of his way to go pick up the doors for me. He spent extra time to ensure the job was done the right way. Overall I was very pleased with the work and would use them again in the future.

I contacted The Handyman Can LLC based on positive reviews on Angies List. Will Grant answered and took the call on the spot. We spoke breifly and he had me leave him a voicemail with my information and work description. He called me back within a day or so and arranged a site visit for an estimate. Due to previous problems I had had with contractors I decided to quickly check up on The Handyman Can LLC credentials and licences the morning before the site visit. I was surprised to find out that their state contracting license had expired 7/31/2011 (6 months prior). When Will arrived I informed him of what I had found and tried to give him copies with the information so he could look into it. He was surprised and alarmed to find out his license was expired. I genuinely believe that he was honestly unaware and it was somehow an unintentional mistake or oversight. We went ahead and spoke about the job. There was also some interior work I needed done but he did not seem interested in quoting that. He wrote me a quote for the window job. I explained that I was thankful for the estimate and asked him to give me a call as soon as his license was straightened out so we could talk about legally doing business. I checked up a few weeks later and saw that his license had been reinstated. He never called me back or contacted me to let me know or discuss the job though. I helped him out by letting him know about his license. Somebody else might have even offered me a discount, which wasn't necessary, but I think a followup call was certainly in order. Will was polite and professional as an individual. Unfortunately we were not able to do business so really I guess it was a waste of time for him and myself.
