Everything was done very well, items all completed quickly.

I made contact with the owner and he was going to come to my home the same day to give me an estimate. I stayed at home waiting for him and he neither showed nor called back to let me know he couldn't make it. I never heard back from him.

Will and his team are very professional. All of the work they did was very high quality. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Everything went smoothly. Will showed up on a Saturday to bid on the odd jobs we needed to have done. He was even early, but called first to see if it was convenient for us to see him early. As we went over the list of tasks, his responses and inspection made it very clear that he really knows what he's doing. We really appreciated that if there was something he couldn't do, or something with which he didn't have a lot of experience, he said so. We set an appointment for the work, and he showed up on the agreed upon day, on time. It took two days to complete all the work. Will and his assistant worked fast, but did not cut corners. The quality of work was excellent, and the ceiling patching around the new light installations was flawless. They were very skilled, professional, courteous, and they cleaned up after themselves. We will use them again when we need handyman services. Highly recommended!

We had a dishwasher that needed to be replaced but unfortunately, it wasn't that straightforward. The quartz counter tops needed to be shimmed up so the old dishwasher could be removed and the new one fitted into place. Then, the the quartz counter tops needed to be leveled and properly shimmed. Will was great! Very quick in response. He was able to come out the next day and look at the job. He was actually able to complete the job same-day because he had finished his previous job a bit early and wasn't set to start another until tomorrow. He is very knowledgeable. Unfortunately, the job was a bit tricky and took a little bit longer than estimated (that is the only reason I give the price a "B") and it ended up costing more than expected. However, I still believe that I paid a very fair price for the work and amount of time it took to complete an unusual dishwasher uninstall/install. I'll definitely be calling Will in the future for more straightforward household repairs and renovations.

Everything Will worked on was completed perfectly. He makes very good recommendations for consideration in the work to be done. I also found his costs to be honest & very reasonable. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a talented handyman to do just about anything on your "to do" list.

We had a bit of an issue scheduling, but it was not a real problem. It was as much mine as his. He did ask to delay a week due to backlog. It was okay by me as it was not an urgent issue. I believe had it been urgent he would have come earlier. He was careful not to mess anything up and in fact it was cleaner after he and his assistant left. I was very pleased with the results of the work. I would use him again.

We are very satisfied with the final product. Renovations are a long tedious process requiring a low of owner involvement. Will was helpful and accommodating during every step.

He and his helper were prompt, extremely personable, efficient and knowledgeable. They knew exactly what pieces/parts they needed to purchase from the hardware store to repair or replace each thing. If they had a part in their truck, they used that instead of purchasing it. Here is a partial list of things they did: replace a kitchen faucet (fixed a slow drain at the same time without charge); replace the water main valve; replace a bathtub/shower diverter; install a replacement sump pump; replace a sink drain assembly; replace a faulty GFCI outlet. They went to the hardware store and purchased what they needed. For materials, they charged only what they spent - no extra. They worked hard and efficiently. Given the amount of time and effort they spent, they were also very reasonably priced. I will definitely be calling on Handyman Can again!

Over the last 16 years of living in our current home in Northern Virginia, my wife and I have hired several "handymen" for various exterior and interior projects. Will Grant and his folks were the best home repair team that we have ever experienced. Will Grant knows what he is doing! He is a master at identifying problems -- and determining the most appropriate long-term solution. We were similarly impressed with his team of workers. All were professional, well-spoken, trustworthy, punctual, and proficient. We were 100% confident that their repair work would be done correctly and professionally. And I was particularly impressed with how they kept me informed of their progress as they accomplished our multiple projects. After 16 years of searching for the right team to help us maintain our home in A+ condition, we have finally found the professionals that we can rely upon. If/when we have the need for a handyman in the future, Will Grant will be getting our call.

We chose Will Grant, he's a handyman. He does a lot of excellent work, he did some dry wall for us, he's very good. He is excellent. He does interior, exterior painting, carpentry, kitchen-bath remodeling, counters, he does more than just general repairs. He had to do some dry wall for us in a couple of areas, and he did just wonderful. I mean, he is very good. We had some work done in the shower, and they had to take some dry wall out. He did some other things for us, and he finished off some things around here, hes quite good. My husband looked up Angieslist. Finding a handyman is tricky, and so he found this fellow and he just called him and that was it, it was just that simple. Angieslist, I guess, has a very good reputation. This is our first time using it, and we have been very pleased. He did some other small work. We had to do some in the ceiling in the living room, we had some settling issues from three years ago, so he went around and he spackled, sanded and finished off all these areas. So that was good, we were very pleased. He brought in his vacuum thing, and he had his drop claws and he was very good . There was a lot of dust and he cleaned up very well. He's professional he didn't get into a lot of excessive chatter, time consuming stuff he just did the job. He was very nice, very pleasant and answered questions, but he went right to work, That?s important to me. I'd recommend him to our neighbors. He is busy, he's been in business since 1992, quite along time. Non of his work is what you'd call cheap, but it was in a comfortable price range, and certainly fair. Especially for the work. His price was very good. It wasn't off the charts. I thought it was very reasonable. He did a great job. He's quick about it, and he knows what he's doing.

Will and his team were punctual, friendly, and professional. Will came by the house about 6 weeks prior to the work (we mutually agreed on the July start date; it fit both our schedules better than earlier dates) to review the to-do items and provide an estimate. I selected from that list those items that were priorities and fit my budget. Work took place over two and a half days (two workers plus some of Will's time one day, one worker to finish up half the next day). The team was efficient and polite. Will fixed a few small things (e.g., tightening shower handle) while walking the house, at no charge, because he saw them and could correct them on the spot. He recommended against a couple higher cost tasks because, upon second evaluation, he determined that they weren't really necessary and may be unneeded expenditures, which I appreciated. Overall, the work was done well.

This was the first time I used him, and I would use him again.

He was professional, prompt, and stayed with his estimate. This was a two day job. He was meticulous in his work.

Will and his crew did an excellent job. They were professional, courteous, and prompt. The exterior of my house looks great as a result of the work they did. Considering the high quality of the finished work I thought the price was very fair. I previously had hired Will several years ago to do some miscellaneous indoor work (replace some damaged drywall, install floor tile, minor caulking, and install a ceiling fan), and he and his crew did a great job then as well. Highly recommended.

Did not use. This service said it would have to rent a ladder to reach a high wall to hang something. Wanted me to pay $400 + to rent one. I told them forget it. So I wasted that money because I did not want to spend more

Everything was completed exactly to my specifications. They left my home clean and took the related trash (old faucet, etc) out with them. Will and his crew do great work and are respectful and reliable.

Will and his crew have done many major projects for me (including full bathroom remodeling), and after a recent torrential downpour, Will kindly fit me into his schedule when my gutters backed up, even though he no longer does gutter cleaning. As always, he was prompt and did an excellent job. Would highly recommend!

Will and his crew were there when they said they would be, were very fastidious about covering everything during demolition, covering my wood floors during the entire project, and cleaning up every night when they quit work. They were unfailingly polite and checked with me many times during the project to get my okay before proceeding with a particular step. Everything was done to a very high standard and I am very pleased with the outcome.

He arrived when scheduled and was prepared. He removed the old caulk and replaced it around both shower and tub. He did a great job and left the bathrooms clean. I would call him again if I need a handyman for any other maintenance jobs around the house.

We found Will's contact information on Angie's List and were impressed by the reviews. He has just finished doing a minor job for us, installing rods and drapes in our home. He was prompt, estimated the work well; the work he did was flawless, and he also ensured that hardware he used matched the needs of the job. During the morning Matt spent at our house, my husband showed him an issue we have had with our front door (air draft), and he corrected the problem during his time with us today. This required him to go to a local home improvement store on an impromptu basis for the materials he needed -- it is an example of his desire to do a good and thorough job. We look forward to having the opportunity of working with Will again on future projects

During our phone call, I described the jobs that I needed done (cabinet installation, grout repair, curtain hanging, fixing front door hinges, and window repair). He gave me an itemized estimate of each task and let me know that he was unsure about being able to repair the windows, but would be willing to take a look to see if he could). I ended up doing the window repairs myself, but his quote was close to the cost of the materials that I ended up needing. I also used another service provider for some of the other repairs (because of an Angie's List deal) but Will's quotes were competitive with what I ended up paying. I would definitely consider using The Handyman Can LLC in the future.

This is my second review, and I'm just as pleased as when Will and his crew renovated my two bathrooms four years ago. This time, the list of major and minor repairs was extensive, after I had rented out my house for a few years -- every single item on the list was fixed, and even a few others that I discovered after Will had done the initial estimate. I also have to thank Will for his honesty and integrity, after there was a repair issue that had been caused by a small oversight from the previous job, because he took full responsibility for it and repaired it free of charge. The crew is also unfailingly professional and polite, and I've always been very happy with everyone's work.

It went very well. Will and his workers were very professional and the work done was excellent. His workers took professional pride in doing the job properly. I was informed of additional rot and shown the wood in question so that any changes to the contract were run by me first. The addition now looks like new and the house has never looked better. It was one of the best contractor experiences I have had. I would absolutely use them again.
