Will returned our call, gave us a estimate and a time frame when the work could be done. The workmanship was excellent. He had to remove a piece of drywall that had wall paper on it, he replaced the drywall and wall paper even matching the border with a felt maker. You would never know it had been replaced. They left the area cleaner then when they arrived. This is an excellent company, they arrive on time and work very hard.

The results are breathtakingly beautiful. Courteous, professional and prompt, they moved and/or protected every furnishing, wall hanging, accessory and, in our case, tons of books before painting, then returned EVERYTHING exactly where it had been. They exemplified Will's motto to "leave a place cleaner and better than when they arrived." They even took care of little problems I hadn't thought they would think to address - fixing a stripped-thread faucet, removing the squeaks from doors. I cannot praise them enough. To wit, I've already signed on to have them paint the upstairs a couple of months from now.

These guys are fantastic. I would hire them again in a minute (actually, I've already scheduled them to do my kitchen). They were here every day when they said they would be, they talked me through everything, they were professional and just really nice. The work they did for me is beautiful. They always went the extra mile to make everything right. I felt like their standards were higher than my own (I've never had that happen!) and I could completely trust them with everything. Just a couple examples -- they put up new doors on the utility closet in the basement. It had needed to be cleaned out for a while, and when they were done they said, "Oh, we vacuumed it out and cleaned out the junk." They swept out the garage to keep from tracking in leaves. Every night when they left they cleaned up and vacuumed and left it cleaner than I would normally. I don't have enough space here to say everything, but this was the best home improvement experience I've ever had.

He fixed everything we asked him to do and was also able to fix our very heavy front door. He did a good job.

He came at 8:30 when I requested. He cleaned up his work nicely and was done in a couple hours. He was punctual and amiable. He gave me a free estimate.

First impression was to move a TV stand (without TV) from one room to another - up and down a flight of stairs - I thought the price was high. Regarding fixing a shower door - I had to tell him what I thought needed to be done - price again was really high. I had a specific area I wanted painted and he wanted to paint the whole thing. The price he quoted for the 1/2 bath was in range for materials and labor, but I did not have the confidence in him to hire him for this job. I will be calling someone else.

I located this company on Angie's List in June 2007. I contacted Mr. Grant and he came out a couple of weeks later to give me an estimate. We walked around the house while he took notes. He gave me a detailed estimate which seemed fair and reasonable. My wife and I reviewed and approved it. He told us he had a back log of work and would not be able to work on our house until mid September. We were in no hurry so this was OK with us. Mr. Grant's firm completed the work the last week in September 2007. Overall, the quality of the work was good. However, my wife was quite upset by the fact that they cut back the bushes near the house extensively so that they could get access to the windows without asking permission. My wife asked them to stop but they persisted. We understood that the bushes would have to be trimmed some but they did a poor job. The trimming was more extensive than necessary and very uneven.

Will is a great guy and he has done a lot of work on my house. He is very punctual and knows what he is doing. He came out initially and I hired him on the spot.

Will had a reliable worker that came along to help with all the jobs. Will (company owner) was on time, did the job in a timely manner, was neat and clean, left no mess behind. He definitely takes pride in his work and is fair in his pricing. We would hire "The Handyman Can" again... even for bigger projects... tile work, etc.

It was a very positive experience. Will and his crew were very polite and respectful the entire time they were in my home. They did a good job of cleaning up bits of wood and paint that fell on the floor. They were knowledgeable of how to do the tasks we required, and did them correctly. Our list took less time to complete than anticipated, so Will charged us that amount, which was $200 less than estimated. My impression is that he is in demand and very busy. We will call Will in the future should we need handyman services again, and we've recommended him to a neighbor as well.

Will and his crew did a GREAT job, start to finish -- and did it all in one day. The workmanship was excellent, and they were all friendly and courteous. They are committed to quality and do not cut corners. This is the second time we have hired The Handyman Can and will do so again. We've also recommended them to a friend who was thrilled with the job they did.

It went very well. He noticed a few other things that needed to be addressed while he was here and did them. He was very prompt. He was very tidy. (used my vacuum to clean up. I will definitely call Mr. Grant again.

Will did a wonderful job in replacing the flooring. They were there on time and the job actually took a little longer than anticipated, but it was done beautifully. They used drop cloths to cover everything and took great care in their work. I would highly recommend them for any type of handyman work.

They did a great job. We were very pleased with the results and price and will use them again. We priced out two or three handymen and it was a no-brainer to go with Will. He gave us a written estimate breaking down the cost of each project (one handyman didn't even take notes during our walk through), and his price was comparable or lower for each project. It was a pleasure having Will and his crew in our house. My son was 3 months old then and they could not have been more respectful of his napping and feeding schedule. Will even ran out to the hardware store to exchange the vanity sink that in his opinion (he was right!) didn't match the bathroom tile. I made an emergency evening call to Will about something that came up in our home inspection months after he did work for us and he called us first thing the next morning, as soon as he received the call. He was as kind and patient as always and gave us easy-to-understand advice about how to fix the problem ourselves.

Will handled this fairly complex job extremely well, doing most of the work himself. He did fine work on the tile, which required the most craftsmanship. He also solved several problems effectively as they came up, including having to relocate a stack pipe that was in the way of the new pocket door. Will is incredibly hard working and very reliable. He is also extremely fair in his prices. If you are looking for someone who can do almost anything, and do it with care and unflagging good spirits, look no further than Will Grant - this Handyman Can do great work!
