Will is a treasure, he was one of few handyman service companies I dealt with that (1) actually responded and (2) would come out to give an estimate even for the collection of small jobs that I had. I was very pleased with Will's response from start to finish. From first conversation, to scheduling estimate, to actual work being done. Will explained what would be done and reviewed work with me afterwards. He was punctual, thorough and efficient, cleaned up residual shavings, etc. afterwards.

Called Mr Grant in mid-July for estimate. Took a few days to get a return call. Came out to do the estimate within the week. Did a very thorough review of our needs and wish-list and pointed out things we hadn't known about that needed to be dealt with. We liked him very much and felt comfortable having him in our house. It was about three weeks before he could schedule our services. He showed up exactly on time and got to work immediately. We even added a few last minute things (the light fixture and folding door). Mr Grant took care to protect the furniture while working and he responded kindly to our cat's and dog's investigations. We have many more projects for this house and Mr Grant will almost certainly be getting all of our business.

We had water damage in the corner of our family room (the lower level in a three-story townhouse). We contacted Mr. Will Grant of the Handyman Can, LLC. His estimate included replacing the drywall in the corner as well as caulking the exterior to stop any leaks. His estimate seemed fair and also included some other minor household repairs. He was going on vacation and we had to wait awhile for the job to start but we weren't in any great rush. He started on a Monday and when his assistant removed the drywall in the corner, they found old termite damage in the beams. They continued to remove drywall to expose all the damage which they repaired. In addition, he removed some exterior siding which was damaged. This particular wood siding is original to the house and no longer is being made. Mr. Grant found a great match and even had paint matched to the current sun-faded shade in order to better blend it in to the rest of siding. We had leftover paint for the family room repairs and they did an absolutely great job of blending that as well. What was to have been a one-day job turned into three days because of the damaged they uncovered. Mr. Grant adjusted his schedule in order to accommodate our extensive repairs. He was prompt every day! They also did a very nice job cleaning up. Mr. Grant and his assistant were both very courteous and pleasant. We would highly recommend him and definitely use him again.

Called Will Grant and he came out next day for estimate. He had other projects going on and he said that since I wasn't in a hurry, he would fit me in asap or on the next rain day. It rained 6 or so days later and he was right here by 8 am with his helper. They were done by 5pm and cleaned up what little mess they made. Excellent experience with him and will use him again.

Whole experience was great. I called Will in for an estimate, expecting that I had to have a significant amount of drywall replaced. I told him this and showed him all the damaged areas. He indicated that most of the damaged area was fine and could be salvaged with a little touch-up work, the rest would need to be replaced. This by itself saved me a lot of money. He could have easily agreed to remove/replace all the drywall that I had indicated was damaged and charged much more. He quoted me on fixing/replacing all the necessary drywall, as well as adding some can lights in the kitchen. Half way through the job, I also asked that he complete some additional molding/trim work that I was not able to get to myself. I was pleased with all the work that was done and it was done so in a very timely manner. They cleaned up the area very well when they were finished and made sure we were happy with the work that was completed. Along the way, Will also completed several small repairs that were not included in the estimate and for which I was not charged. Very happy with the experience and would highly recommend

He was able to come out and fix my townhouse and he did a nice job with the work that was done. His men always showed up on time and they stood by their work. We have hired them for another job and we are confident that they job they will do will be perfect. We highly recommend this company.

I originally called back in early March when we first started having trouble with the downspout, and Will told me to call back in April because of the weather and the fact that it was outdoor work. We finally scheduled an estimate in late April, but as soon as the work was scheduled, he was out within two weeks. Will and his team arrived a little later than they had planned, but called ahead to let us know. The spindle wasn't an exact match, but again, Will called to let me know he was unable to find an exact match and that it would be slightly different, and I was OK with that.

It went very well. They were very nice. They did what needed to be done. They were quick. They worked diligently to finish the projects.

Will Grant came and performed a free estimate. After we accepted the estimate, he and his workmen showed up at the time we decided on. They were very professional and easy to work with. They were flexible in allowing us to add a few things to the list. They laid down cloths from the front door to the work area to protect floors and cleaned up when they finished. We were very pleased with their work and would definitely use them again.

We can add a stellar report to the others on the list for Will Grant. Will and his employees are excellent. They are professional, competent, efficient, showed up each day on time, and cleaned up thoroughly each evening before going home. Will was able to recommend lower cost options for addressing issues (repair and repaint bannisters rather than installing new ones, repairing closet doors). He did a great job on all aspects of the varied projects he worked on for us. He and his staff work at things until they are done right. One example was the installation of the storm door - our doorway wasn't even, and they worked at it until it fit and closed perfectly, even thought it took longer than they might have expected. Because it took a couple of months to get on Will's schedule, we accumulated a list of additional small projects in the interim. I appreciated that Will was able to address nearly all of these, while still honoring his commitments to the people on his list after us. The cost was in the middle of the three bids I got for the work, and we thought it was fair. We will plan to hire him again, and would highly recommend him. He and his employees are also a pleasure to have around.

The men were punctual, professional, and worked hard all day (especially on the door frame and the bathroom ceiling).

This is the second time we have used Will Grant, and I must say The Handyman really Can! Grant is precise in his estimates and sticks by them, yet flexible enough to take care of any unexpected events. He was concerned that the marble had more variation than he expected, and alerted me to that. It was something that didn't bother me, but I was happy that he pointed it out. Grant and his assistant had installed a fan for us previously, and they were our choice for this job as well. They are neat and tidy, covering everything from the floor to furniture to protect it while working. They clean up after themselves, even to the point of cleaning the spots of paint that I had tracked on the floor when I was painting a week ago. They set the room up afterwards, unrolling the rug, and bringing back the furniture. I had told them that I would touch up the paint on the wall if they would caulk along the mantle of the fireplace. When I returned, they had not only cut new molding for the floor, but had painted it and the wall behind the mantle. The fireplace looked fabulous! They are also really flexible about little projects such as hanging curtain rods, tiebacks, and artwork, adding on a reasonable price to the original. Grant and his assistant are polite, hard workers, with the integrity to complete their work as they themselves would want it to be done in their own homes. The price of their work is reasonable, and their execution of it meets and surpasses that. I look forward to the next project that we need to have done; I would not hesitate to hire them again.

Contractor discussed project and provided creative and useful design suggestions. Provided a timely and reasonably accurate cost estimate. Established project schedule. purchased materials, and completed work within a reasonable timeframe. Treated household furniture with care and was careful to clean up and remove all debris and contractor materials at the end of each day and end of project. Initiated contact with customer to confirm all changes to project plan prior to making change. Contractor and staff of two were very polite and professional at all times.

I saw another reviewer's comment that Will exudes professionalism and all that the word implies. I wholeheartedly agree! When shopping for plumbing hardware at Lowe's, I met an interior remodeler who later sent me Will's contact information, and said she'd gotten his info from Angie's List. Will arrived at the house when he said he would, was extremely friendly and professional, and was quite nice to my toddler daughters who kept wanting to "help" him. He had originally quoted me a rate for the job based on his estimate of how much time it would take him. Apparently the contractors who built our house saved some money by using cheap fittings, however, and it took him a lot longer than expected to remove the old faucets. Despite the job taking 2 and 1/2 hours longer than he had anticipated (and built into his quote), he only billed us for the estimated amount. ** Read that last sentence again, have you ever heard of such a thing? ** He cleaned up after the job so well that we couldn't even tell he had been there (except for our beautiful new hardware). Will is now our plumber for life. And I was so impressed by the outcome, I signed up for Angie's List! Thanks again Will!!

We were very pleased. The Handyman Can was competent, personable, and did quality work. They called ahead of time to let me know if there were time changes. He also made recommendations for improving heating circulation in our home, and fixed a couple quick things as he made his initial estimate, including making some safety suggestions. We will certainly use their services again.

Will and his team were wonderful. I had originally made an appointment for an estimate, but because it was going to rain and it was a water-leak emergency, he kindly fit the visit into an already tight schedule. Plus, they arrived exactly on time, got everything done quickly and thoroughly, and cleaned up afterward. I'm definitely going to call them again for future home repairs!

Took long time to get on the schedule due to the number of jobs they had, but we were not in a hurry. They were punctual, neat and courteous. The work they did was excellent. I couldn't have wished for more.

Will and his workmen are professional and courteous. I have used Handyman Can for several home projects over the past 12 months. Will continues to come in at or below his estimates in a timely manner. His work is above standard and he takes the initiative to make suggestions that can save the client time and money. He is capable of completing a wide range of project types and I will be most definitely be using the Handyman Can in the future.

The work went extremely well. They were here all week getting my checklist done and they were always on time. They made sure to cover the floors and furniture to keep it clean. They cleaned up everything and removed all of their equipment each day they left. They were a pleasure from start to finish and a great value.

He arrived on time to do the work. I would use him in the future. His bill was less than he quoted. He was very professional while he was working. I was 100 percent pleased. I would recommend him. The quality of his work was good.

Will came and gave me an estimate within two weeks of my call, he was clear that he did estimates only on the weekends. He gave me a complete breakdown proposal for all my repairs with an estimate for materials. Materials ended up costing a bit more than the estimate, hence the slightly higher price ($30). He is very busy so he told me it would probably be about a month before he could do the work. We were not in a big hurry so that was fine with me. On that day, Will brought two other workers to help. They worked hard and were very polite. My only problem was that Will had to keep a close eye on the man fixing the loose picket rails on the stairs. He wasn't doing the job right and Will had to correct him more than once. Also, the glue used in the repair was spilled on my hardwood floor, which Will cleaned up when I pointed it out. A few days after that, I noticed that there was excess glue around several of the pickets at the bottom of my entrance foyer. It is not that bad, but I can see it. Overall I was very satisfied. Our jobs were all very different handyman jobs, and with the exception of the glue on the pickets, all were done well and have held up.

In one word: GREAT! This company has terrific grades and now I see why. They have broad knowledge and experience in home building and repair. Communication with us and each other was excellent; Will Grant had imaginative and very helpful suggestions and was always available for questions. Will came promptly everyday with one or two assistants, depending on the work to be done. They worked very diligently and closely together, Will being more a mentor than a "boss." He was on the job all day, except only for quick trips to buy supplies. Their work is impeccable. Will himself removed and replaced inferior bathtub wall insulation and tiles, correcting inferior work that had been done by a major, well-known area contractor. The team quickly and neatly repaired and painted drywall areas all over the house, giving it a fresher look. The door replacement turned out to require more work than anticipated; as the house is over 40 years old and every door sill is crooked in a different way, necessitating multiple fittings and trimmings. They worked intently on the doors for several days, but Will declined our offer to pay more for the additional work involved. Will Grant approaches the work as if it were his own house. Whether by intuition or much experience, he senses the homeowners life style and knows just what -- and how much -- to recommend. While replacing tub tiles, he found a small gap between the bottom row of tiles and the tub. He came up with an idea -- to put in a row of narrow tiles in a contrasting color -- and was as excited about that touch as a small boy with a new puppy! When the tub was completed, it looked wonderful. He notices things the homeowner has missed, and often sees something small (for us, a loose stairway railing) and fixes it without charge on his way to another item. He approaches a problem with confidence and determination to solve it, and explains the work to the homeowner along the way. My husband and I never felt "left out" and we learned a lot in the process! Oh yes -- and they clean up at the end of everyday, leaving the house in better shape than it was that morning!

We were very pleased with the service of "The Handyman Can". They worked hard and were careful and cleaned up after the installations. They checked to make sure they understood exactly what we wanted.

Will Grant and his workmen do excellent work. They are punctual, professional, courteous, honest and hardworking. They bring good solid experience to the job and make helpful suggestions without up selling. They return calls on a timely basis and clean up daily. We will definitely use The Hand Man Can again!!!

Excellent. He fixed some drywall as well. I have used him in the past. Outstanding!!! He was the best!
