Description of Work: Remodeled my bathroom. They were wonderful in every way. Yes, I would use them again and strongly recommend them

Description of Work: We needed three separate jobs: repairing the tiled threshold in a shower, patching an area of damaged vinyl tiles with a combination of new and old tiles (a puzzle), and patching an area of drywall where a cutoff to an outside faucet was replaced. Will came out beforehand and provided a complete estimate, allowing for unknown damage to the threshold. He and a helper completed all three jobs in one day, arriving with needed supplies, and cleaning up thoroughly when finished.

Description of Work: We hired him to paint and finish our front door. He also fixed our bathroom sink and toilet. He repaved our steps to the back patio. It took 2 days to complete, and he had 2 crewmen working with him.

Description of Work: Never returned my call. Spoke with him and he said he would call back.. Never did. Disappointing!

Description of Work: Replaced the sweeps on two doors, restoring the seal, and repaired bathroom ceiling nail pops with plaster and paint. It went well, and the job was done perfectly, very satisfied.

Description of Work: Mr. Grant and his team arrived punctually and were very polite and professional. We had repairs done to our kitchen floor after a slow leak from our ice maker rotted the wood floor below and ruined drywall ceiling in the finished basement. We were pleased with the repair and the crew were very careful to remove all rotting wood and reinforce the boards under the flooring to make it safe. They also installed a shut-off valve behind the refrigerator and put in the new wood floor. Mr. Grant repaired the drywall in the basement and patched a large seam. The ceiling repair looked great! The team was very neat and cleaned up well after all the work was completed. "The Handyman Can" team also repaired drywall in the foyer, patched, and painted the areas. We had a hand railing installed in the upstairs stairwell and the existing rails were sanded and painted. We would highly recommend Mr. Grant and "The Handyman Can" team!

Description of Work: My toilet has a Flushmate mechanism that was recalled because the pressure may cause it to explode. Flushmate sent a "fix" that was to be installed by owner. We could not do this work. Will Grant charged half the cost of Herndon Plumbing. Will got right to work and did a great job. He cleaned up the areas when finished. We are so glad to find him through Angie's List. Also, we found out about the Flushmate recall by reading the Angie's List magazine! Flushmate did not notify us of the recall. Flushmate would not pay the amount Herndon Plumbing wanted, and we found Will Grant. We had to pay and claim reimbursement from Flushmate (pd 13 Dec 2012). The Smith's, Reston VA

Description of Work: In the process of putting our home up for sale, Will came to our home to give us an estimate. His estimate was reasonable and he was very professional. He was on time and offered good solutions to our repair needs. He and I were able to discuss options over the phone and email. He was very accommodating. Ultimately, we ended up deciding not to get the repairs at this time, but I would definitely call him again.

Description of Work: Great work, great service. Would use again, Told me what I should do and not, helped me save $ vs. just doing what I wanted. Was very consultative. Very good experience. And I have referred to my neighbors. Several jobs around the house, door frame rebuild, molding on shower door and front door, tile needed to be laid after a flood. Just overall GREAT experience.

Description of Work: Will Grant provided a fair estimate of the work to be done regarding - 1) replacing a front storm door, rotting molding and a portion of door frame 2) installing new ceiling/soffit lights 3) fixing/replacing a leaking dryer vent to include removing/replacing drywall 4) replacing a bathroom faucet with a new style faucet 5) painting a vaulted ceiling, the new door trim and the drywall that was replaced His team finished these jobs in two days and did very good work. The ceiling paint job was added on as a task on the day they first showed up. Also, they were originally told 2 soffit lights were to be replaced and I added 4 more for them to do. The light fixtures were recessed and old, but they were able to adapt the new ones I purchased, which were larger in diameter than the stock items found on the shelves at home depot or lowes, to complete the work. Very good. Would recommend and use again. Thanks for the good work.
