We would never hire this company again and would warn anybody thinking of hiring them to beware! The painting job was horrible. For some reason they used two different types of paint when painting making the appearance look horrible. My ceilings and walls were supposed to be painted using a flat paint but there are spots where the gloss paint used on my floorboards and window sills was used on top of the flat paint. They told us that they sanded the walls and woodwork before painting, but they don't! As usual, our floorboards had a varnish on them and needed to be sanded before painting. Since they didn't sand, the wood shows through the paint. They removed paneling off of the stairway wall and needed to repair the wall for painting. Our wall now has waves, large bumps and divits all over it! The work was so poor that we ended up telling them not to return. Once we had a chance to really look at everything done, we discovered paint splatters all over our wood floors, kitchen cabinets, kitchen counters, dining room furniture and china cabinet (they didn't cover anything!) We also discovered that they didn't paint all the surfaces of our deck. They removed heating elements and simply pushed the wires into the wall, without capping them, and covered the hole! Sincce this is highly illegal and dangerous, my husband demanded that they reopen the walls and cap the wires. For some reason they also removed our door bell and pushed the wires into the wall and covered with plaster. They damaged two window screens, removed them for repair, but never replaced them. The majority of their workers did not speak English, making communicating very difficult. I believe that they were day workers hired for the day to paint. We were originally told that our job would take 2 days. They were in my house, some days until 9 p.m., for 5 days! There was still 2 days worth of work left when we fired them.
