Working with Jose and his team was wonderful. Not only were his men competent, friendly, and efficient they left my house clean and in excellent condition. Jose was prompt and timely with his communication. Much more so than any other contractor I've dealt with. I will be asking him to work on more projects in the future.

Jose and his team were professional and very friendly. The job was done in a timely manner and we love the finished product. We had a leak that we got several contractors to come out to try to identify the problem and fix but no one but Jose and his team was successful at it. Just for that alone, we will always be grateful for his service. We like him so much we're planning to hire him for more projects around the house. He's a great general contractor and all-around handyman.

Fantastic. Snow and a few standard delays knocked us off schedule a few days, but Jose and his team stayed dedicated to finishing our bathroom with the highest quality in quick order. Despite the additional time, Jose did not deviate much from original quote. Jose and his team were great. Jose has an eye for detail and mad his crew redo some things that were not up to his standard. We appreciate the high standard. His crew was always on time, cleaned up everyday and was not too obtrusive to the rest of the household. The work they did looks great and the price was fair. Jose kept us informed of his progress and listened to our request. We would use him again and highly recommend him.

I've done 3 bathroom remodels in different properties with 3 different contractors, and I would say that my experience with Jose Munoz and Munoz Construction was by far the best. He has a small team and does not subcontract his work out to other companies. Jose was here almost every day to make sure everything was going as I expected. His communication was excellent throughout the entire project, and his crew worked diligently the entire time. His price was very reasonable and included a lot of the materials, including the paint, Durock, trim, grout, and plumbing parts. He itemized each piece of the project on the estimate, and when we decided to create an access door instead of repairing and painting an entire wall, he reduced the price from his estimate accordingly. I would highly recommend Jose and his team. I am very satisfied with the result.

We were very pleased with the work completed by the Munoz company. The company owner, Jose, was easy to discuss plans with and very professional. The quality of work was excellent. Jose was reliable and completed the work in the time frame projected. The work involved partial kitchen renovations, including installation of double wall ovens, a cabinet and wood refrigerator panel, and lights above an island. Jose and his crew also installed a counter sink, stand alone utility sink, and ceiling light in a basement area. The floor crew also did excellent work on our hardwood floors (buffed and applied polyurethane finish to correct scuffs left by refrigerator). We had a great experience with the Munoz company and would use this company again without hesitation and would highly recommend them.

I've worked with various contractors over the past two years and my experience with Jose Munoz was by far the best. We got two estimates on the work we needed to have done to correct the sinking floor around an exterior door in our sunroom. Jose Munoz' price was the most reasonable and his estimate was very detailed. Jose quickly identified what needed to be done to fix the issue. It involved removing our click-lock floor, replacing the rotted subfloor, the wood supports, the door jamb and threshold and exterior siding. Another contractor told me that we would have to replace the door, but Jose's team was able to repair the damage instead of replacing the door, thus saving us money. Jose was here every day checking in on the guys and making sure every detail was taken care of. The job was finished on time and on budget despite a very rainy week. I needed the room ready for a party the following Saturday and Jose was able to deliver on his promise of having it ready in time. They went above and beyond what was asked of them. For example, they caulked around the sunroom windows including areas they weren't assigned to repair. They had some leftover insulation from another job and put it in our walls at no extra cost. I showed Jose a water damaged baseboard in our powder room and he offered to replace it for free using scrap wood from our garage. I heartily recommend Jose and his team for home repairs.

Jose and his team finished a shell of a room that was already framed but needed drywall, insulation, heating and a/c, electric, etc. It was to be my office. I couldn't have been more pleased. They were always on time, cleaned the site at the end of the day, met the schedule he committed to each day, and offered alternatives to my ideas. I was so pleased with their work that I had them do some work in the laundry room and living room. Jose took on the additional work without missing a beat but was also very clear about what could be done within the time that he had. His team was very pleasant and I had no concerns about leaving them here while I ran errands. Jose is going to renovate my kitchen once I have the design completed.

We have used Munoz Construction twice and have been extremely happy with the work and service we have gotten. After the laundry room was complete they moved the washer and dryer to the upper level and repaired the old room that the washer and dryer was removed from and you could not tell that the washer and dryer was ever there. Jose is a very honest and fair owner. He came by every day to explain what had been accomplished and what still needs to be completed. His crew is always respectful and professional. I would highly recommend this company and would use them again. This is an outstanding general contractor.

Jose Munoz and his team did a fantastic job, from start to finish. Jose visited our home for a complete walk-through and analysis of our needs, and based on that we developed a full plan. He and his team started on the agreed upon date and finished their work on time. There were multiple components to the project, and they were done in the right order, and each was done with a great deal of care. They did their best to keep our home clean, laying mats, putting blankets on furniture, and hanging plastic sheeting in between rooms. At the end of each day they fully cleaned up so the house was livable during the evenings. Everyone on the team was friendly and helpful, and we'd highly recommend Jose Munoz to anyone with renovation needs.

I purchased a deal for 40 hours of contractor work through Angie's List. I was blown away by Jose Munoz's customer service and work ethic. He did not treat me like someone who'd gotten a bargain, but like a full-paying customer. Several of the projects I had wanted him to work on didn't pan out because of the inflexibility of my Home Owner's Association (cursed HOA!), but Jose was flexible and went out of his way to work with me on figuring out what projects would be feasible, given the HOA constraints. Jose's workers arrived promptly in the mornings, and they got straight to work. They worked fast, and they worked smart. As someone who's unaccustomed to working with contractors (I like DIY projects), I was impressed with how innovative and creative his guys were. They found a solution for the installing closet doors that I wouldn't have thought of, and that saved quite a bit of time. They did quality work that looks great, and they cleaned up after themselves every day (a previous contractor I had doing some work left all his drop cloths and tools everywhere). Jose would come by a couple of times a day to check in and make sure I was satisfied with the progress and to troubleshoot any challenges that arose. He even stayed longer than the 40 hours to help fix a complex lamp rewiring problem I had, and he didn't charge me any extra. He said it was a Christmas gift to me. Now, when my neighbors ask if I know a good contractor, I've got a great answer.

As soon as we interviewed Jose we knew he'd be a good fit based on his knowledge and demeanor. Once we received his fair and timely estimate we scheduled right away. His team was reliable and on time every morning, and they worked hard all day. They provided excellent feedback and gave us a few ideas that made our project turn out even better. The quality of the work performed was very good. When we asked for items to be added to the work, an updated, professional estimate was provided. The work was done well and within a reasonable time frame. An effort was made so that we were not without a kitchen any longer than necessary. Jose and his team paid attention to details and did not rush through the job. This was an expensive and long awaited project for us, and I can't express how nice it was to have a contractor who was reliable, courteous, fair, and knowledgeable. Munoz Construction will be my go-to contractor for any future projects we have.

Jose Munoz and his team did an excellent job in the time they had promised and at the price of the estimate. They worked hard, were neat, cleaned up after themselves and did careful work. The painting job was extremely well done. My spouse was surprised that professional painters could do such a good job. We are extremely happy with the job that was done and happy in our businesslike and cordial relationship with Jose Munoz and his team. Thank You, Jose. Jose Munoz is a true professional. His work is excellent and he is a pleasure to do business with. On this project, he was highly effective in communicating how he planned to approach the job, the different options and costs available, and the expected schedule. Our garage work was due to a car accident, and we weren't sure what surprises might be in store for us, under the siding and drywall. Jose carefully documented each stage of the demolition in case with photos in case we needed to show these to the insurance company. Jose was very "hands-on" in getting his team oriented and working, checking the work during demolition, and checking the quality of the finished work was up to his high standards. His work team was respectful and attentive to their customers, and were precise and expert in their workmanship. They left the job site clean and orderly at the end of each day, making sure our garage door was functioning. Everything looks as good as new. That alone is enough for us to recommend him. In addition, Jose is extremely personable. He took the time to get to know us, and we were pleased to get to know him. We have great respect for his values and work ethic. Without a doubt, the next time we need a General Contractor, we will seek out Jose Munoz. In fact, we've already begun a second project with him.

The owner, Jose, was involved in every step of the process, ensuring that the work was done to the quality he expects. He inspected each item that was repaired/refinished and even had them re-do work that I wouldn't have noticed. Jose honestly cares about his reputation and the work being done by his crew, who were are very polite and punctual. Jose was very professional and accurate in the price he quoted before he began work. He was honest in telling us the work he was able to do within the original budget of $1,800 and gave us a discount on the additional work we wanted him to continue beyond that. He was flexible in working out a mutual schedule with us. He takes a lot of pride in the work his team does which is very important to us. We noticed a couple of paint areas that needed to be touched up and he brought his team back at night to take care of it. His team is skilled and versatile in the variety of work that they can do. I had several contractors quote me crazy high prices for this job. I do most of the work around my house myself, so I know what time and materials are needed to do a job. Jose arrived on time for the estimate and emailed a fair price. I ordered the door at Home Depot, his crew picked it up and in a day, had it installed and looking great. Jose made sure the job was done right and that I was happy. He was easy to work with and I feel confident that when I hire him again the work will be just as good. Thanks Jose - great work!

From beginning to end, Jose was professional, reliable and punctual. We had the quote within a few days of our first call and he scheduled the work very quickly. We do not live in the house but our tenant told us he was terrific. When the job was done, he sent us before and after pictures. We will definitely hire him again when the need arises.

It went very well. Jose Munoz (the owner) responded to my desperate call right away. It is very hard for me to get away from work and if I didn't get this job done right away, I didn't know when I could do it. He was totally professional and definitely had the highest integrity. His crew of two came the next day (a little earlier than had been promised). They did the job fast and efficiently. They explained and showed me what they had done. A little while later, Jose came by and checked their work and provided me with the invoice. It was very apparent that his repuation for quality service and quality work was most important. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing anything done by a contractor. I plan to do some remodeling next summer and will definitely call Munoz Construction.

We interviewed 3 contractors in total for an estimate on painting the outside of our home. Two of the contractors came from Angie's List and the third from our neighbor's recommendation. All 3 estimates were in the ballpark of each other with Munoz Construction being in the middle. In addition to painting, I had my own agenda of long awaiting maintenance tasks that could be accomplished if we could be confident in our contractor to do more. As such, we selected Munoz Construction among the 3 bids. Not only did he rate well on Angie's list but his website demonstrated that he had the potential to do so much more. First, the facts: - Once the contractor started work, he stayed on the job until it was finished. - He showed up exactly on time, every time with the crew ready to roll - He did exactly what was asked of him and made many useful suggestions along the way to improve things - Gave me the confidence to increase his scope of work once he began his efforts - Contractor was able to provide turnkey efforts without having to subcontract out any of the work (a lesson learned from past experience) - Crew cleaned up the area everyday after work The owner of the Company is Jose Munoz and he conducts himself in a very personable and professional way. Outstanding! We chose Munoz because he provided an all-in-one service. We required electrical work (installing recessed lights, installing a fan, fixing a fan, and installing a double oven), interior painting, and exterior painting (fence). First, Jose's crew arrived exactly when expected every day. (They were there for an entire week). They did a fantastic job putting in the lights. They did a great job painting. They were able to take out the single oven and put in a double oven. But most of all Jose always went above and behind what was required. After a week of having them in our home we were a little disappointed to see them go. Halfway through the job we decided we'd like Munoz to do a bit more work. We were in the process of ordering new counter-tops and the price we were being charged by the installer to remove the current counter-tops was crazy. Munoz agreed to remove the counter-tops at a fraction of the price...AND come back to re-connect/adjust the plumbing under the sink and reconnect the gas stove. The big risk was getting Munoz to do the uninstall just before the installers arrived and then get his team back immediately after the installers were done. Jose worked with us to make everything go so smoothly. It honestly could not have worked better. Munoz Construction will be our first contact for our next project. Which will probably be repairing the porch. Fantastic job!

Jose and his crew did a fantastic job. They arrived promptly each day. At the end of each day, the work area in our garage was cleaned up. Jose's attention to detail was top notch. Each part of the job was done to Jose's exacting standards. Installing the ledger stone was quite tricky and required many, many cuts to the stone. They stayed very late one day to finish the stone work so they could wrap up the job on the next day. Very dedicated owner and crew. The finished job looks great. We have a few additional projects in mind and Jose will be our first call. Highly recommended!

Ah, Jose. I sort of don't want to write this review because then you will all know how wonderful he is and then he will get busy and I may never get to use him again. I began by contacting him by email and through my sister when I was still overseas to do some renovation work on our home that had been rented while we were away. He was responsive, flexible in getting in the house to give me an estimate, and awesome about working with my sister since I was not available in person. Once I was in town, he was able to schedule me so that the work was completed before my goods arrived by ship. He completed everything on time, including things I added when the house needed more work than I anticipated. Jose and his crew were friendly, trustworthy and did quality work. I did not feel the need to micromanage or second guess any of the decisions or work that was completed. The best part about Jose is that he is very clear. He is upfront about costs, which are reasonable, and he wants you to be happy. He is a perfectionist who goes through the work before you to identify potential problem areas and highlights them for his team so at the final checkout there is nothing to be done. His estimates and receipts are done by line item and each cost is available. I have already given his name to friends and I would hire him again in a second for any work I needed completed in my home. He has my highest recommendation.
