Maid Bright

We were very happy with the cleaning services. I contacted the company on Friday afternoon and asked if they could clean the place by Thursday of this week. Jay offered to send someone to clean the place the very next day, i.e., Saturday, which is a day on which they normally do not offer services. The price that he quoted to us (which was the price that we paid) was a third of the price that another company had quoted to us. He said that the cleaning crew will be at our place shortly after 10:30 am. They were there at 10:45 am. They got started immediately, and as Jay had promised, proceeded to clean the place for the next three hours. Their workmanship was excellent. There was one mildly unsavory moment in which one of the cleaning crew ladies, who had parked her car in our garage, suggested that my wife may have hit her car while my wife pulled out of the garage. When I said that it did not happen, she didn't make a big deal about it. I too didn't think much of it because if I suspected that someone may have hit my car, I too would ask. Overall A+ experience. We will definitely contact Jay the next time we want the house cleaned.

This company has been responsive, communicative, timely, respectful, and thorough. We are going through a difficult time because of an injury that I have sustained, and so sometimes our house isn't the most orderly when they come. But, they make our bed, put things in an orderly place, and clean thoroughly. They are respectful and on time. They even unload and load our dishwasher!

I contacted Maid Bright looking for a replacement of my previous house cleaning service that I was becomming increasingly dissatisfied with. Jay showed up on time and explained their policies and procedures and we agreed to intial test cleaning, which turned out to cost 145, less tah the estimate. The team showed up a little early as we were preparing to depart for a cruise. They pleasantly accepted us getting in their way but were still efficient. In fact they cleaned places I doubt the previous cleaning service knew existed. They returned two weeks later and did a routine cleaning of our three story townhouse for $95. They will be back again and again!

I have been very pleased with the service. Today was their 4th visit here. The same two women have shown up each time and they are very punctual. The price is dependent on the size of the home and the frequency of cleanings.

I hired Maid Bright about 2 months ago based on Angie's List recommendations, and I have not been disappointed. Jay, the manager, came to our house, gave us an estimate (which included some Angie's List coupons!), and the work started right away. I should mention that we're not fastidious cleaners ourselves, so we may not be the best judges of the work, but we have never had any issues with the work performed. In fact, we've been thrilled, especially considering the reasonable pricetag. Jay's been extremely responsive. I once had an issue with the billing, and he addressed it straight away. I highly recommend Maid Bright.

They were on time. They were cheerful. They went about there work and worked until they had it done and left. It was exactly what I would like them to do.

We called this company to do a pre-move-in cleaning at our new house. We let them in and then left the vacant house, expecting that they would know what to do and lock up. When we went back to the house the following day, we found dust on the mantle and windows sills, dust on the cabinet handles, toilets that were unclean, and surfaces in the kitchen that were not wiped! We called Jay, the owner, and he said he would send a crew out to meet us today. They arrived 1/2 hour late, and then I had to instruct them on all the obvious things that they should have done. Jay didn't offer to credit us or anything. While he seemed unhappy that I was unhappy, he did nothing to make amends. I will NOT be using this service again.

Maid Bright arrived on time and worked diligently during the time they were there. They did an excellent job. The new home has a large unfinished storage area in the attic with sub-flooring that was really dusty. I called and got an estimate for them to clean. They did a super job, my husband (who thought he'd have to do it himself and was dreading it) is still talking about the nice job they did. We have now hired Jay's team to do the move-out and put-on-the-market clean for our previous home, and expect it to be another good experience. We hoped that we would find a cleaning service that we would want to hire to clean on a regular basis, and we are confident that we have. One last word, and a HUGE plus -- Jay is most responsive and flexible, and that has been important to us during the last month when we didn't have as much "heads up" on things as we expected.

The crew that comes to clean our house is always pleasant and leaves our home spotless. Jay makes an effort to send the same crew each time. They are dependable and always provide extraordinary,quality cleanings. Best of all, the pricing is more than resonable. The crew is punctual and they bring their own equipment each time;they stay as long as they need to get the job done without rushing. Also, Jay follows up with us to make sure we are satisfied and asks us about our concerns so we feel comfortable. Jay and the cleaning ladies are very accomodating and professional, I love coming home after they have been at our house because they do an outstanding job.

I e-mailed Maid Bright on 23 Dec to schedule a walk through and estimate due to the ratings here. Jay wrote me back almost immediately and I scheduled for Mon, 28 Dec. That morning he called me when he was leaving his office to tell me he was on his way and showed up exactly on time. His walk through was very professional and his estimate was about what I expected. He charged $135 for the initial cleaning and $105 for bi-monthly cleaning. They provide all the cleaning supplies and equipment and even accept Visa and Master Card. I scheduled the cleaning for the next day. On that day he called to let me know his cleaners were on their way and they arrived on time. The two cleaners spoke English and worked non-stop for a little over 2 hours. My home was sparkling! It smelled clean and looked fantastic. Jay called me the next day to get any feedback I had and to inquire if I wanted to schedule routine service, which I quickly did. This is a well run, very professional company. His rates are reasonable and his service is superior. Jay is a pleasure to talk to and his housecleaners were friendly, professional and efficient in their work. I will be recommending Maid Bright to all my friends.

Excellent. The team showed up on time, cleaned all bedrooms and bathrooms. Nothing was out of place. The floors were nice and clean. We received other quotes but went with this company mainly because of Jay. We liked the way he responded to our questions when we did the walk through. He is very professional.

I am happy with the service. Our three story townhouse (about 2,000 sq feet) with three bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, family room, living room, dining room, and ground level family room sparkle and shine! I highly recommend Jay and the Bright Maids.

The owner of the company came out, walked through the house and gave me an estimate. He called me up later to confirm the service after which they came out to do the work. They were great and they did a very good job. They left the house clean and everything was in place. They were very professional and they even changed the sheets.

They have been to my home three times now and I was very pleased with the initial service the first time. The second time I had an issue so I brought it to their attention and they fixed it the third time.

It's not the deepest cleaning that they do but they have a good price. They get all the services done and no hassle. They charge about 100 dollars each visit.

Two people came out, appraised our place, and then started cleaning it. They clean everything. They do a great job. We are planning on moving to a bigger house, and we have already tried to budget so that we can continue using them.

I was so pleased with the work they did that they are here again today and I have scheduled weekly service. The young ladies who came were quick, compentant and very nice. I couldn't be happier. My house, which has ledges and moldings everywhere was shining and smelled great! They came with all of their own supplies and did a very through job. They also were very calm and cool around my two barking little dogs. They worked with me to meet my desire to have my house cleaned towards the end of the week. The follow up price of $90.00 was most reasonable.

We just moved here. I found Maide Bright on Angie's list and called. Jay is amazingly responsive and polite. He came through and explained everything. My house was fairly clean because we haven't lived here long, but he explained they'd clean the moldings, occasionally I might want to engage them for extras like the fridge and kitchen cabinets. On the day they arrived to clean, they brought all their own cleaning supplies. They cleaned my house very well and left it smelling cleverly lemon-fresh. However... They didn't clean the garbage can under the sink-they only emptied it. When I went into the guest bath whose towels I had just bought, there were bleach stains from their gloves and the towels are ruined. I called Jay and he offered to come over the same day and see them-he was very responsive. I am impressed with Jay's commitment to excellence so I still think this is a good cleaning service, and will give them another chance to see how their regular cleaning day comes out, and how the towels are rectified.

Great job! Very nice, professional workers. My place looks great and I will definitely use them again.

This is the second time that I've used this cleaning service. They've done a very good and thorough job thus far. They always send the same crew which is a plus when you've had other companies send out a revolving door of people. They seem to be flexible with your schedule. We had a hiccup last time of the arrival time of the crew, however, the manager called to confirm an earlier arrival and we've set in stone the arrival time going forward. So far, I would recommend this company.

It went extremely well. Jay was totally professional, and noted every concern I had. I am fussy about which cleaning products and supplies are used in my house, and the previous cleaners couldn't customize their services for my situation...they literally would forget to use what I asked. Even when I supplied the materials, the old cleaners misused the materials (such as using undiluted Lysol!) The old cleaners also bruised some of my furniture. The Maid Bright ladies got everything right, after a minimal review prior to the cleaning. I am very, very pleased.

From the moment you meet Jay to the cleaning itself the organization exudes professionalism. Jay explained their process from start to end and is happy to answer any questions you have. Being a family owned business you can tell they place great pride in their work. The first day cleaning couldn't have gone any better. Both members of the crew speak and understand English well so it's very easy to communicate what you want with them and they deliver services as promised. In addition they do nice little touches with the bath towels, tissue boxes, and toilet paper that give you the feeling they really took the time to do a good job. They left the house looking brand new. All in all they are the best cleaning service I've come across since living in Northern Virginia over the last 15 years.

I called on Columbus Day and Jay was extremely responsive - offering to come over that same day. He quoted for both services at once. Jay said they used environmentally friendly products, aside from in the bathrooms. The move-out house cleaning was good. They performed the job as promised and the place was clean at final inspection. We have had our new place cleaned once. They were great, except that they didn't seem to do much dusting on the shelves. The place, however, looked good and the price was definitely fair.

This was excellent service. I was able to get through to the company quickly, and to easily schedule a convenient time. The cleaning was outstanding, very thorough. I also noticed that they really took care with a lot of details--for example, they put things back in their place, so that afterwards the place looked great. This was a top-notch job--I plan to continue using them.

Maid Bright was cheaper than two other providers I found on Angie's List. For a 757 square foot one bedroom condo, Maid to Clean quoted between $87 and $108, Little Green Men quoted $83, and Maid Bright quoted $79. I just had my first cleaning with Maid Bright and am very satisfied. They wiped down all of my appliances, did a pretty good job on dusting my furniture, made my bed, laid out my slippers (!), and left my bathroom tub immaculate. They even did a little rearranging of my bathroom items to make the room look neater. The professional staff of two women were both very nice and pleasant. They both looked like they wanted to be there and I trusted them very much from the get go. Fortunately, Maid Bright always seems to send at least one person on the team who speaks English. "Jay" runs the company and is VERY responsive by phone and e-mail. I would suggest that if you have particular needs for your place, let Jay know and he will put it on the work order for the cleaning teams. I will use Maid Bright again to perform my monthly cleanings and will make sure that future services will continue to be positive (or else I'll let all of you know!). Maid Bright charged $109 to perform my move-out cleaning for my 900 square foot one bedroom with loft. The professional team of two spent over two hours there and did an incredible job. Once completed, they invited me to do a walk through and explained any areas that I had a question on (e.g. trying their best to scrape the three year old dust of a ceiling fan). Hiring Maid Bright was definitely worth it.
