Maid Bright

The overall experience and result was excellent. The consultant listened to our needs and the work done was excellent. They did an amazing job on the kitchen in particular. A few details, like baseboards, were overlooked. The only problem was the agreed time frame was 8-11 a.m., but when I returned home at 11, they were just starting. They finished by 1 and I was thrilled with the result.

Overall the service has been great.

The owner of Maid Bright came by to give me an estimate and explain everything the team would do when they clean the house. Maid Bright has been very cooperative when I had to change the cleaning time. They aim for customer satisfaction.

The cleaning service that was provided was excellent. I have never seen the place cleaner. They cleanied inside my cabinets, inside the fridge and every inch of the place.They were very professional and I would use them again

I moved into my house two months ago. For a variety of reasons - lots of cat hair, a new dog, dust from repairs and drilling for termite treatment - I decided I needed the house cleaned professionally before houseguests arrived for the weekend. Jay came by the house despite very short notice, gave me an estimate, and scheduled a cleaning within two days. In addition, he was very accommodating about, not to mention kind to, my very anxious, newly adopted rescue dog. The initial cleaning cost $145. The fee for regular bi-weekly cleaning will be $125. There is a $50 Angie's List discount effective after two cleaning sessions. I didn't rate the price since I didn't obtain any other estimates against which to compare Maid Bright's but their rates seem comparable with what other cleaning services on Angie's List seem to be charging. The cleaning crew came as scheduled. I didn't observe them clean - I had given Jay my keys and they came while I was at work - but they did a great job. They did a lot of mopping (including stone floors), sweeping, and dusting, made the bed, cleaned the bathrooms, put dishes in the dishwasher, and even took out the garbage (although they were evidently a little confused about what is the recycle bin and what is the garbage bin). Everything was tidy, clean, and sparkling when they were done. I am engaging their services on a bi-weekly basis for the foreseeable future.

A tenant moved out of my rental property; I called Maid Bright to inquire about the move-in/move-out cleaning. Jay (?) went to the unit and gave me an estimate (left a written estimate in the unit and Sanaz sent me an email with a summary) and I booked them for 2 days later. Their crew did an excellent job cleaning and preparing the unit for the next tenant...it's in perfect shape for someone to move in. From my first call until completion, they communicated via email or phone and made things very easy and convenient for me. I will use Maid Bright every time I need cleaning service. We were very impressed by the service we have received from start to finish. The scheduling and in-home estimate was great. Jay was so friendly and thorough in his description of their services. I was impressed that they take such good care of their employees which is important to me in any service provider. The clean house that we came home to after our first cleaning was exceptional. They cleaned every nook of our home and left us wondering why we waited so long to make this happen. They did all of the obvious things you would expect (dust, vacuum, etc) but they also did things I didn't expect like cleaning the ceiling fans, floorboards, window sills, blinds, etc. I have zero complaints and have now scheduled them to come every other week. All of this was topped off by great service from Jay and his co-workers. They called the day before the first visit to let us know when they would be there and called after to make sure everything went okay. Everyone that I have spoken to has been very helpful and pleasant. It has made such a difference in our lives not to have to worry about cleaning in the little spare time that we have.

They arrived on time and worked without stop for 3 hours and did an excellent job cleaning the entire house. Since they were here, I've noticed a couple of small spots that were missed in the dusting but they are now noticeable only because everything else is so clean! I'm very satisfied with their work. Following this initial cleaning, Jay called me the next day to check on their work and to see if I wanted to continue on a regular basis. I agreed to the biweekly, whole house cleaning.

I made an appointment for them to come out and give me an estimate. Initially I was very impressed with how quickly they responded to my e-mail inquiring about their services. When I set the appointment I explained that I would have to leave my job to go to my home to meet the supervisor for the estimate visit, so timing was very important. The appointment was scheduled for 1:30pm. I was in a cab on my way to my house at about 1:15pm when I saw I had missed a call on my blackberry from the supervisory at about 10 after 1pm. I called him back and he said he was calling to let me know he was running late for our 1:30 appointment and would be there around 2:30 pm. I explained to him that would not work for my scheduled and reemphasized what I had told the person who scheduled the appointment that I had to leave work to be able to meet him and I could not be gone that long. He said we could reschedule for the next week, which surprised me since when I set up the appointment I had explained that I wanted to make arrangement to have them come in to clean before the end of the week. He told me they didn't have any appointments that week so they couldn't do that anyway. He didn't really offer any other alternatives and did not seem apologetic about being so far behind schedule. He said he had gotten delay at another job site. What I did not understand was why he waited until so close to the appointment time (less than 30 minutes before he was due to meet me) before contacting me to let me know he would need to push our appointment back. If he had contacted me earlier I probably could have rearranged my schedule to deal with the later timeslot. As it was I felt he wasn't particularly concerned about meeting my needs. I found the poor communication and poor planning very unprofessional. In addition, the company did not do any follow up after the fact.

Their first visit is longer (about 90 minutes), and they thoroughly clean the house (as per the agreed upon list between their manager and the house owner). This longer first visit is also somewhat more expensive, but worth it, in our opinion, as this enables them to bring the house up to a level that they can easily manage at the frequency of bi-weekly visits. We have a one bedroom condo, and the subsequent visits take them no more than 60 minutes. The cleaning ladies are generally very punctual (they are careful to inform clients ahead of time, and generally give a time window). When they arrive, one person takes over the bathroom, while the other pays attention to the dusting and floors. After the bathroom is cleaned, she goes on to the kitchen, while her colleague starts the vaccuming and mopping. We showed them how to use our Dyson vacuum cleaner, and they easily use it now. This really helps with keeping cat dander under control. They work with environmentally benign cleaners, and leave our house s*** and span. Our hardwood floors are looking much cleaner. So is the kitchen and the bathroom. The cleaning ladies are very professional, courteous and focused on their work. The management staff is equally courteous, responsive and committed to customer statisfaction. We whole heartedly recommend Maid Bright to anyone, based on our most pleasant experience with them over the last two months.

I received an estimate from someone who came to my house. I scheduled a cleaning time and no one called or showed up until I called 2 times 1 hour later someone finally told me they were stuck in traffic. This is unprofessional and I was surprised at the nonchalant style of the person on the phone. They tried to reschedule but honestly I didn't feel they were accommodating considering their mistake.

This was a first time cleaning and so was slightly more expensive then the following will be. They called the day before to confirm and when they were running slightly late which I was pleased with. The bathrooms had the best cleaning ever. The ladies worked hard and were pleasant. Spoke English quite well. I need to check the tile floor mopping, but everything glittered.

A representative from the company came out first to inspect our home before we scheduled a a cleaning appointment, to make sure that they were clear on the exact cleaning we wanted to have done. I scheduled the first cleaning two weeks later. They were perfect not only the first time, but every time. They always call to tell me what time they're going to be here, so I can plan accordingly. The process has been virtually worry-free for me! I have recommended them to many friends.

They do a really good job, although sometimes I wish there was slightly more attention to detail (like a little more scrubbing in the shower). The house always smells fresh and clean when we come home after they were there.

The cleaning team was very nice and arrived on time. The cleaning; however, was superficial. There were numerous areas that I pointed out which were still dirty, such as corners on the floor, light fixtures, and walls. The townhouse was completely empty; therefore no furniture hindered access to location within the house. The team did go back and clean the areas I identified as dirty.

Overall, we are very satisfied - especially with the mopping of all our hardwood floors. We were a little worried about someone using a bunch of smelly cleaners as we have a newborn, but the crew did a great job of cleaning the house. One area that we did catch later was that some of the cabinets above the gas range could have been cleaned a little better, but otherwise it was "A" quality work. That aside, it was far and away much better than what we could have done in that time. Very happy with the price and the work.

I think it went very well. The house was nice and clean when they were done and I was happy that they got it all done in just 3 hours. They came on a Friday even though I called only a few days before.

Wow! I just got home from work and arrived to find a sparkling clean house that even smelled clean in a pleasant and subtle way. This was our first house cleaning with this company, and I am so impressed with the job they did that I will be signing up for bi-monthly cleanings. Their attention to detail is amazing. I can't believe they folded the toilet paper in all the bathrooms in a nice design just like they do at hotels. My husband dealt with Jay to get the initial estimate and gave him rave reviews. He said Jay was extremely nice and professional and really enjoyed working with him. I previously had another company clean my house and was very unhappy with the work they did so I am very excited to have found Maid Bright and look forward to future cleanings.

Found them to be very responsive (they came quickly when I requested service) and did a good job with reminder phone calls etc. My biggest complaint was that the cleaning wasn't that complete -- every time they came I found surfaces that hadn't been quiet cleaned, corners that still had dust etc. Also, I never received the Angie's List discount that they promised. Overall, a solid company but not the quality I had anticipated given the reviews. I'm going to try someone else and see how it goes.

Jay, the owner, did an estimate on my next available day. He is professional and personable and explained the charges clearly. It is clear that he takes a personal interest in his staff and in the satisfaction of his customers. The team was very pleasant. When they arrived promptly at 10 a.m., they introduced themselves and verified my name. They worked continuously for two hours. When they finished, they indicated that I should look around, and when I noticed something that had been missed, they happily cleaned it. The only thing that I thought wasn't worth it was $30 for the windows, as it didn't seem to be that much work. Overall, my condo looks better than it ever has.

First of all. I choose to meet with MaidBright partially because they seemed very professional and were licensed and insured, but also because as I was reading their reviews on Angie's List I noticed that Jay had responded to every review. I was very impressed at this level of customer care that he takes the time to read and respond to every review. I am a new customer but so far they have lived up to my high expectations. Jay was very prompt for our in-home meeting and was able to give me an estimate on the spot. I liked the fact that we can pay with check or credit card. When I called to make the appointment, we had a good variety of options of times and days to pick for our cleaning. The ladies arrived right in the middle of the window of times we were given. I wasn't there but my husband was. He said they went right to work and were finished in a couple of hours. This is an advantage for us as he stays at home part of the day with our newborn and he did not want to be displaced for the entire day for the cleaners. When I got home everything was beautifully clean. It was also nice that the house smelled clean but I was NOT overwhelmed by the smell of cleaning chemicals. It was just a nice fresh clean smell. I'm a detail person so I definitely reviewed their work and was pleased with the job they did. I look forward to having them around for a good long while.

I am moving out of the area and renting my house while gone. I will use Maid Bright on a regular basis when I return to the area, I just wish they had an office in my new State. I have never used a house cleaning company before Maid Bright. But all I have to say is WOW! Jay was great to work with, professional and very personable. The house was immaculate and I could not find a nook or cranny that was not clean, the tenants were very impressed with the house too. Great company!

The ladies arrived a bit early and were cheerful and very nice. I described what I wanted in each room and gave them a written note to help them remember. They listened to me and got to work quickly. They were efficient and did a very nice job. I have asked them to clean our house every 3 weeks. Jay has been good at following up and making sure that we get the same crew each time. I am very pleased with their responsiveness and willingness to do what we need. I recommend their services.
